Thank you ! I was trying to follow a written pattern for this, but it just didn't seem right. You made it make so much more sense!
Glad it was helpful!
Best teacher yet. I watched a lot of videos and this was the best one. Thank you.
Wow, thank you! 😊
This tutorial was the best I have ever watched! It was very easy to follow and to crochet along with. Directions were simple, and the visuals showed clearly how the stitches should be placed. The personalized comments, such as "I will meet you at the end of the row" were sweet! Thank you for teaching me a new stitch!
Thank you so much! I'm glad it was helpful :)

I know it seems like a lot of work for a kitchen scrubby, but that would be a great pattern. Lots of nooks and crannies to scrub with. Thank you for the slow and easy-to-follow video. I'll look for more.
that's a great idea. It would look beautiful, too! Glad you liked the video

I am using this pattern for a men's scarf, worsted weight yarn with an I-9 (5.5mm) hook. I started with 26 stitches (plus the one extra for the single crochet row). Thank you for the tutorial!
Sounds great, good luck with this project! I'm so glad you like my tutorial
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work
My pleasure 😊
Hello, this video is straight forward to follow and i enjoyed watching. I think the colour changes really show the stitches at their best. The only constructive criticism is that when you work your stitches, i wish you could work closer to the camera so that i can see what you are doing better 😊
Hi! Thank you, in my newest tutorials I make sure the stitches are clearly visible :)
That is a nice pattern with a great and easy to follow instruction❤👍
I hope I will be able to use it one day 🤞🥰

Glad you enjoyed it!
I would like to know the brand of crochet hook you are using. It looks so comfortable. Thanks. Your work looks really nice. Love the pattern.
Thank you, Diana! Sorry, but I don't really know what brand it is :( I bought them a hundred years ago! It was a bamboo set of crochet hooks in various sizes, all enclosed in a rather low quality purple case with a zipper.
Thank you so much for getting back to me. Appreciate the reply!
Great
thanks!
How do you increase with this stitch?
it depends on the pattern, but you would probably increase by working three stitches in one, instead of two. This way you would get a symmetrical detail.
It would really be nice if you would to share what the reverse side pattern looks like in several additional colors. 😏
I'll keep that in mind for future projects :)
Podrían traducir Español gracias por ❤
Hello. I have a question. How can I make sure I go into the first st without increasing one side?
it's all about counting stitches and taking turning chains into consideration (turning chain often counts as one stitch) - after you work a few rows you'll know the drill. If you prefer visual representations, there's a photo tutorial on my website (linked in the description box)!
I am having trouble with the end of the 5th row. Do I do a chain in the turning chain?
hi Lynnett! In row 5 you make 1 single crochet in each stitch. Your last single crochet is worked in the top of the turning chain of row 4, because it works as a double crochet. Hope it helps!
This is such a pretty stitch, thank you for the tutorial. I would like to make an afghan with ombre variegated yarn in worsted weight 4, about 50" x 65". About how much yarn do you think I should purchase?
sorry for the late response! it all depends on the kind of yarn you choose and what you want to do with it. I recommend making a swatch out of the yarn of your choice and calculating from there :) hope it helps!
Hola lástima que no está en español de verdad
Really hard to see with how zoomed out u are
How do you finish off?
I always stop after a row of single crochet stitches and secure yarn at the end as usual - this way the top looks the same as the bottom (because you are starting with single crochets, too). If you are asking about edgings, however, there is plenty to choose from! It all depends on the project.
Why the thin yarn? It's next to impossible to see. I like your tutorials, but the skinny yarn is useless for video. All I see is your fingers.
it's an absolutely valid point :) it was the first video tutorial I've ever made, so I wasn't really aware of how it would look. Maybe I will remake this video at some point with thicker yarn!
Your videos poor to learn the stitch bigger
Maybe if you watch some tutorials to get the basics down better, then this will all make more sense 😲
