in the future i feel like women's swimsuits will just be reduced down to a strip that covers the inside of the butt crack and the front area and like... stick on nipple covers lmao
moekazool I'm not saying that skinny people aren't real. Any bodetype is beautiful. I'm just glad that this video didnt ignore curvy women, like its usually done.
Going Good Buzzfeed does not usually ignore curvy women. You're lying. You can look through all of their videos and see plenty of women who have "a little extra" modeling in their videos. Hell, they even have videos solely dedicated to women who are not thin.
Reyna ugh I keep expressing myself in a way that nobody understands what I mean! I wasn't trying to say that buzzfeed ignores curvy women. By "like its usually done" I meant the whole society. Buzzfeed does a great job in celebrating women bodies as they are.. I love their channels
I tend to like one piece swimsuits more because 1) I find them to be more flattering on my body and 2) when you get a two piece, you usually have to buy the top separate from the bottoms, which usually ends up costing more. Also just on a side note, someone stating their personal preference isn't body shaming :) It's just an opinion, and as long as it is formed respectfully, there is really no need to be angry about it.
I wear a pair of shorts and a shirt that are both made out of swimsuit material, the shirt helps me hide my chest and the shorts are fingertip length, it's comfortable for me, I think you'd like the swim shirts and if you don't like things tight you could get a larger size. Try to find what's comfortable for you!
Necromaster2077 "I would put my tongue in your cheese omelette. We will then proceed to make sweet , sweet meringues. We will be sweating on the oven until the hours of the night pass into the golden hue of the dawn." I quote.
Public Enemy Number One body positivity should not degrade anyone. someone could easily come back and say "no one likes pigs", but that is degrading and should not be used to lift another group of people up. think about what you say before hitting enter. :)
Artoria Pendragon No one said there was anything wrong with not having curves. He was simply appreciating the fact that in a society where fashion mainly caters more to the petite figure that they chose to use more variation in their model choices. This is certainly not shaming.
***** Your comment makes no sense. There are many types of models and not all have to "work" to achieve certain aesthetics. Also, fat is extremely relative to your own perception. None of these women look unhealthy. So, I'm not even sure why that matters.
***** Models are also models because they know how to walk, pose, and work the clothes. Girls aren't automatically accepted into the industry for staying thin.
I'm just sitting here laughing at the song. I'm not sure whether buzzfeed actually got a french speaker to translate or if they just picked it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just picked it. XD
2short99 I agree that they should have included swimwear before the 1920's atleast 1900-1910 (they wore blouses and bloomers) The 80's was EXACTLY like the 90's in terms of bathing suits. It was all about high cut leg. No point in repeating.
RememberRox Yeah I wish they included the 1900-1910s. & if the 80s was the same they shouldve have put the 1980s & 1990s together..Im just being picky cause it bothers me when people skip numbers even if its not relevant lol
2short99 Pre-1910s suits were typically bloomers and a short dress as well as a bathing cap, think Granny Clampet hat. They probably couldn't find a suit from that era or at least a replica that wasn't offensively expensive.
I feel super uncomfortable in bathing suits in general, mainly because of my arms and the fact that nothing seems able to cover my bum entirely, which is also very uncomfortable ;-;
+Chicken Cutter Ugh thats like the same for me like I have a really bloated stomach (cant stop drinking the green tea LOL) and it just makes me so uncomfortable seeing myself in a 2 piece.
Just asking. Since weeks there are people who comment with stuff like "U0001f61c" What´s that supposed to mean? After reading it over and over it becomes hell damn annoying.
KuroKitsuneTheYaoiPervert dear god thank you for asking the question I have been wondering too lol. No one ever answered me though. I have apple products and haven't been able to see the emojis...I think emojis just don't work here in the comments at all
Pokeclipse No, that I remember, 80s swimsuits were very different from 70s. The lower waist of the 70s was substituted for a more bold model, very leggy. Actually the one posted in the video as 90s came up in the 80's, and the 90s should been different.
+5SOSlover73 4 I am trying to find one for myself, but I'm too tall (i.e. long torso), so the belly button is still visible :c Those pin-up ladies look so good in their bikinis.
Wear what your body feels comfortable, don't care about how others will look at it. That's how you come far in life, but still your choice seems pretty comfortable tho :D
Wow, so skinny people don't have "normal bodies" how insulting. It is nice they use different shapes, but a body is a body at the end of the day, and to refer to this in such a patronising way as being "normal" implies being skinny or being very thin isn't (keeping in mind many have fast metabolisms)
Oh, go to swim competitions! I am a swimmer and we wear high-cut leg swimsuits. I swear, you can almost see half their butt. Well, it does help you to go faster. 😂
+Ag Spirits But essentially they show the same amount of skin. I don't get it. You Americans have no shame and like to draw attention to your bodies in swimsuits that are sometimes even skimpier than a bra and panties, yet wearing an actual bra and panties is not good all of the sudden? What's the difference?
Maybe where you are but here there are plenty. And not only skinny girls can wear bikinis....so they can be catered to different. It's not about the type it's about the size. Sure, you might sadly have to go to another store specifically to find a bigger size, but they're there.
+iiQuirkii OK I understand what u mean but I'm just talking about where I live in new jersey and I can't find any bathing suits that I feel comfortable and confident in not that I'm overweight which I am a little bit but its my opinion
I apologize to anyone who doesn't care for this comment, but the blonde girl who modeled the swimsuit from the 70s is the hottest woman I have ever seen.
+Evie Jynx Could be true, but when I picture the ideal woman inside my head - I mean the perfect body - that's her. Guys do that, and her proportions are my idea of just that.
I wear an xs one piece because my ribcage sticks out a lot, I'm not anorexic or anything its just that most of my weight is distributed to my thighs and I feel weird
I LOVE THE 90s SUIT! So cute and sporty and they look good on several different body types. I've been seeing them online a lot and just pray they are making a comeback
CheladaGirl No no it's not. That is the problem not caring about her health is a huge problem and it stems form moronic ideas of being happy with your body. I challenge anyone who is out of shape to work out and then tell me what feels better.
Bruce Wayne how are you a moron by telling someone they look beautiful, by boosting their self esteem? She thinks she's beautiful because she's confident and she actually is good looking unlike your dumbass
Domini Guscott Being above average weight is beauty though. Atleast not physical beauty. I will tell you that character is immensely important but you need to be at least normal weight.
I got a idea for the new men's Swimsuit just wear a Condom not only is it going to get attention but it's waterproof and provides protection on the beach,
There are probably many websites that have 50's inspired swimsuits :) just search them on google and look under the shopping category you'll probably find some ^.^ good luck!
Iben J Yes, they are Esther Williams swimsuits... I bought mine from ModCloth as well but you can also buy directly from the Esther Williams brand's website. I love mine so much.... it's modest yet it makes anyone look totally hot wearing one... it's a great piece.
All right, to all the people complaining they cannot find swim suits made for their body, here is my advice. Look online for support for larger chests. Panache makes very good, cute, supportive bathing suits, and they are NOT the only retailers that do. For the girls wanting more modesty or higher cut bottoms, look at modcloth bathing suits. For long sleeves and colder weather, look for spring suits, made for surfing and not in neoprene. For smaller sizes, look online or try a bathing suit store or urban outfitters. I have a spring suit (full sleeve but not neoprene) for colder water or modesty, or even to cover healing tattoos from getting burnt, and it is literally as tight as all the gymnastics leotards I've ever had. I can't wear it unless I'm 120lbs or below and I'm 5'9". I have lots of other bathing suits which have been catered to smaller sizes as well. *Look online* if it's such an issue.
Batman Why are you asking her in the first place? Why should someone justify themselves? What people like is based on their personal opinion no matter what their reasoning is when it all boils down it's based on personal opinion. It's likely they prefer the more modest look. Perhaps shes self conscious and prefers them. So what?
I love how Buzzfeed is using people with different body types, because when you aren't seeing sticky skinny people prancing around, you feel more comfortable. Although comparing yourself isn't good, when you see someone similar to your body up there, you can't help but feel better.
rhea jean I bought one and tried wearing it during a cruise trip.... I've gone back to 1 pieces (mine is the exact same as the 1950s model's swimsuit, but in dark red).. it's very flattering and I love it. Bikinis make me feel like I'm running around in my underwear... lol
Wearing 2 piece swimsuits make me feel like I only have my undergarments on. It basically is that, actually. I don't like it. And I feel like if I wore a 1 piece swimsuit I'd be judged for it. So basically I just never going swimming unless I'm comfortable with who I'm around. :)
I wish the media showcased everyday bodies like these more often!! For once, it feels good to see body hair, rolls, scars, stretch marks, discoloration being shown off like it's no big deal because it's NOT. If all media always was like this, so many of the insecurities I grew up with wouldn't have existed. Forever greatful that buzz feed doesn't change a thing about their models.
They skipped over the times women would wear full on dresses or long bloomers and blouses.
That would have been miserable lol...
Sage Mirei I was waiting for that one actually lol
in the future i feel like women's swimsuits will just be reduced down to a strip that covers the inside of the butt crack and the front area and like... stick on nipple covers lmao
Sage Mirei We didn't ;)
blxkprl right
I love how thay kept it real with women bodies! Beautiful!
Going Good Yeah! Skinny people aren't real! Real women eat food! /s
moekazool I'm not saying that skinny people aren't real. Any bodetype is beautiful. I'm just glad that this video didnt ignore curvy women, like its usually done.

I feel like there are not enough women's swim shorts like the ones in the 1940s, I like that style
I have one and its my favorite swim suit
Omg same
I have a bathing suit like that. only 1940's and 1950's. In my opinion , bikinis are trash .
Neon Rose try Amazon I found a great one on there
Neon Rose I love vintage swimwear so much!!!
90's: full bathing suit
now: bikinis
2030: nothing
cant wait for 2030
now a lot of women like swimsuits a lot, it's very trendy!
bikinis started in 1946, idiot
sad face 2050 : no skin
I mean, isn't that a good thing? People are becoming more comfortable in their bodies.
I tend to like one piece swimsuits more because 1) I find them to be more flattering on my body and 2) when you get a two piece, you usually have to buy the top separate from the bottoms, which usually ends up costing more.

I agree. Also, they're less likely to.. slip and malfunction.
Hi ginger :)
SweetSailor Japan has made me a fan of the 1-piece
:^)
***** This is the worst pun I have ever heard and you should feel ashamed.
SweetSailor All puns are created equal. Stop pun shaming me :(
I always regret reading comments on BuzzFeed's videos.
Then don't comment¿
***** I said I regret *reading* them not *making*
A moose would say that :l
I couldn't agree more.
SarcasticMoose They're all so judgemental dude.
I think my favorites are the 40s, 70s and swimsuits of today. Also was anyone wondering where the 80s swimsuits were?
Google it. They're horrible
Fluffy Panda I saw a lot of high cuts and bright colors.
Amaya Jones They still look bad
Fluffy Panda I'm still sure they sold.
The 80s and 90s Swimsuits were basically the same thing. there was almost no difference. it would be pointless to include both.
am I the only one that wears a tank top and shorts as swim wear?😂
Of course your not
Thatfangirl Isme because girls in bathing suits look at me odd that's why 😂
no i do that too expect i wear a t shirt

They look good in one piece suits. You don't have to show skin to look sexy ;)
Same....I like 50's and 60's the best
Yeah you sorta do today unless your fat then cover up
I love how Buzzfeed just encourages loving your body type without promoting any one as superior. Love love it. Be bold and proud ladies!!
+shanzfendi Woah, finally found a positive comment! :D

I don't speak French but I have a feeling that the lyrics to the song are sexual... o_O
Necromaster2077 not really. undertones maybe.
Absolutely not lol, she's saying "do not ask me questions anymore, he has a funny hobby, still the same reputation"
Everything french sounds sexual.
Necromaster2077 "I would put my tongue in your cheese omelette. We will then proceed to make sweet , sweet meringues. We will be sweating on the oven until the hours of the night pass into the golden hue of the dawn." I quote.
I asked my french teacher what that meant and he told me to delete my account.
I'm so glad that the models actually have some curves.. I wish modelling companies actually accepted these sizes :P
Public Enemy Number One body positivity should not degrade anyone. someone could easily come back and say "no one likes pigs", but that is degrading and should not be used to lift another group of people up. think about what you say before hitting enter. :)

Models are models because they have to work for their bodies. They shouldn't just be allowed to be fat and everybody think that's okay
***** Your comment makes no sense. There are many types of models and not all have to "work" to achieve certain aesthetics. Also, fat is extremely relative to your own perception. None of these women look unhealthy. So, I'm not even sure why that matters.

Bikini bottoms make me feel so uncomfortable because I have no butt whatsoever, so it's like "should I wear shorts with this"
I don't like bikinis because most of them are so *thin* that I can't cover my butt properly so I wear shorts over the bottom part. ;-;
I don't like Bikini because it does show my butt a lot and I do have a butt but I prefer shorts
+Sakara Chan samee
I have butt and that's the problem, I prefer being covered since my body is hideous

I was looking for this comment. I had to take my headphones out it was SO annoying.
It's very catchy lol
They skipped the 1980s and what about swimsuits before the 1920s? did people just go in regular clothes lol
2short99 Back in the 20s it was more like a full length dress. Imagine a priest's black coat, and you have turn-of-the-century swim gear.
2short99 I agree that they should have included swimwear before the 1920's atleast 1900-1910 (they wore blouses and bloomers) The 80's was EXACTLY like the 90's in terms of bathing suits. It was all about high cut leg. No point in repeating.

2short99 in fact ppl only started to go swimming at the sea in the 20s/30s
I feel super uncomfortable in bathing suits in general, mainly because of my arms and the fact that nothing seems able to cover my bum entirely, which is also very uncomfortable ;-;
same here
Same :(
+SlytherinSnake6886 I'm sure you look wonderful in them
It's not so much how I look in them, It's more over a personal discomfort thing, y'know? Thanks anyway for the compliment, dude!
SlytherinSnake6886 I can totally understand, some bathing suits today are just terrible comfort wise haha
You are very welcome!
I'm so glad that they're using actual people instead of Barbie dolls
Was happy to see that too .. Thot it was extremely beautiful
Kenji K didn't know people who are naturally thin aren't people or have to be called barbie dolls lol
Kenji K theres nothing wrong with being a barbie doll.
Taylor Oezer I never said there's anything wrong with being skinny, they're just over used
Kenji K that ill agree with. but you make them sound like bad people.
i see a lot of chunky and curvy women wear 2 pieces. And I always wonder "how?" Like I have body issues and seeing my stomach makes me embarrassed
Well because those chunky women are confident in their bodies and you're probably not confident in your body
THATS SO TRUE
+Chicken Cutter Ugh thats like the same for me like I have a really bloated stomach (cant stop drinking the green tea LOL) and it just makes me so uncomfortable seeing myself in a 2 piece.
because they are smarter than u😂
+Chicken Cutter thats exactly HOW I FEEL! i thought i was alone but im not! me and u sister and many more fell like us
The song in the background made me feel a bit uncomfortable..
Anyone else?

Just asking.
Since weeks there are people who comment with stuff like "U0001f61c"
What´s that supposed to mean? After reading it over and over it becomes hell damn annoying.
KuroKitsuneTheYaoiPervert I'm 99% sure it's emojis, but I don't usually look at comments on mobile so it could be something else
KuroKitsuneTheYaoiPervert Definitely emojis.
Theyre new apple emojis us android users cant see so it ends up being this long ass code
KuroKitsuneTheYaoiPervert I think U0001f61c is smile with wink. But it does not seem to be working.
KuroKitsuneTheYaoiPervert dear god thank you for asking the question I have been wondering too lol. No one ever answered me though. I have apple products and haven't been able to see the emojis...I think emojis just don't work here in the comments at all
Apparently everyone skinny dipped in the 80's
I wish Bikini's were like the 1930s ones. I would wear those. Now I just wear swim shorts and a tank top.
I see you every where.
Kiku Honda Nice.
Ive seen bathing suits in stores like the ones from the 1930s. My sister got one but a sailor theme. It is really cute
Me too, only wearing tankinis
Des That and the 1960s.
Am I the only one who loves the 1920/1930 look? If it was made now with materials commonly used I would wear the hell out of it.
I'm so glad it is a cover up
I love the style too, I really wish they would make swimsuits like that with modern material
i totally love the style of them!
Yes!! I love the 1930's one! Looks cute and comfy!
Yes so much more modest than the ones we have now lol.
am i the only one who hates bikinis

Celina De Vos I agree. I liked the peach two piece from the 40's especially.
I liked most of them but not the one with the plaid patern but only because of the patern...
Celina De Vos
that one was "ok" to me, I didn't mind the pattern as much as the colors used in the pattern. the first was was cute but, wool, no...
I know! I really liked the 1950s one
Can wait for the 2020´s: a little triangule for the bottom and two nipple size stickers for the top part.

Grace Sinclair 2000's?
Grace Sinclair i think more simular to the 90's because of the high cut leg
Lordofzeldafed 2000 is counted as today
MrZigunda no 2010s would be counted as today but we still say 2000s cuz millennium change prolly
I wish I had a 1950s one like in the video
I have one very similar and I love it so much! I bought it here: www.modcloth.com/shop/onepiece-swimwear/bathing-beauty-one-piece-swimsuit-in-red
thanks
I have the 1950's one from Amazon and it's my favorite swimsuit ever!
I miss high waisted bikinis, not because they cover more of your stomach, but because I thought they were really cute for some reason
+5SOSlover73 4 I think they are coming back in style :) I've seen a few
I have one. It's awesomeee! *_*
+5SOSlover73 4 same! I wish they would sell those cause I would totally get it to cover my stomach...i'm not about that bikini life
I own a high waisted bikini :) I love it

I don't wear swimsuits, they make me feel insecure or exposed. I just wear old sports clothes like Adidas shirts and nike pros/spankies.
Wear what your body feels comfortable, don't care about how others will look at it. That's how you come far in life, but still your choice seems pretty comfortable tho :D
***** thanks but I think I will stick to the comfy clothes.😉
ofcourse, nobody would wear swimsuits with a face like yours.
thanks
Mahi Patel Same here!!
It's cool that they used women with normal bodies for this
Aka average people
Wow, so skinny people don't have "normal bodies" how insulting. It is nice they use different shapes, but a body is a body at the end of the day, and to refer to this in such a patronising way as being "normal" implies being skinny or being very thin isn't (keeping in mind many have fast metabolisms)

BreeBree the black lady had a 'skinny' figure...your point is invalid
BreeBree normal as in on average.
High-cut leg suits are so sexy,am I the only one ?
Cool Dude The best!
Agreed
Oh, go to swim competitions! I am a swimmer and we wear high-cut leg swimsuits. I swear, you can almost see half their butt. Well, it does help you to go faster. 😂
Yep, you're the only one who likes it. I think it looks awful and makes your butt look flat and long.
lunayen You've been lookin' at the wrong chicks then lol
Can some one tell me the difference between wearing a bikini and wearing a bra and underwear? Lol
Sorry, I take back the 'all you Americans' part. Not all of you. But a lot of people
+Hema Zaman You should come to Brazil, it's even worse here. Hate this bloody place.
it's the context that makes the difference
the difference is consent
Am i the only one who love the 1950s swimsuit?
I'm a 1950's swimsuit
Phillip Durbin yay I'm not alone :3
Not so much the swimsuit but the pretty lady wearing it
That one was my favourite!

touchdalight Your videos are so funny:P
0:28 I just noticed that pun HAHAHA

Well it's everywear 😂
Gosh all of the girls in this video are just too gorgeous.
love these "through history" videos
I always love these "through history" videos, they are pretty cool and its amazing to see how much beauty or standards can change over time!
today's swimsuits are definitely not catered to everyones body only to skinny girls cause literally they only have bikinis nowadays
Thank you!
I see plenty of different bathing suits for different bodies
Maybe where you are but here there are plenty. And not only skinny girls can wear bikinis....so they can be catered to different. It's not about the type it's about the size. Sure, you might sadly have to go to another store specifically to find a bigger size, but they're there.
+iiQuirkii OK I understand what u mean but I'm just talking about where I live in new jersey and I can't find any bathing suits that I feel comfortable and confident in not that I'm overweight which I am a little bit but its my opinion
+LPSM&MProductions Ok i understand that
My gosh 1950 girl is killing it 😍😍
I love the twenties one and would totally wear it if it wasn't wool
+Angel von Wolf Yeah
we dont talk about the 80s
I liked the 1940 s design preferably In a different colour
minekat 22 samw
minekat 22 me to but not the color
minekat 22 me too hit except I actually like the color
I'm so glad I'm taking French as my high school language course. It's so fun to listen to foreign songs and actually understand them!
I like the 1940's, im sorry CX
+Teoni Williams i do too cx
yeah its like my two favorite things a bra type look and shorts
Me too I wear things like that and it's 2016
yas, same like anything high waisted is bae to me
Yeah that was the best one!
I love these videos!
Women are a beautiful creation
Did anyone else notice that they spelled everywhere like "every wear"?
Yeah they did it on purpose
I was annoyed. I am such a grammar lover.
Perhaps it was a pun
+Mclennoharristarr ! That's a great pun
Good pun right here.
I apologize to anyone who doesn't care for this comment, but the blonde girl who modeled the swimsuit from the 70s is the hottest woman I have ever seen.
agreed.
have you seen melanie martinez or halsey?
(mouth waters)
+Evie Jynx Could be true, but when I picture the ideal woman inside my head - I mean the perfect body - that's her. Guys do that, and her proportions are my idea of just that.
+Evie Jynx that's harsh/rude
+badbiker666 Hottest one in the video maybe, but that's not saying much. You should go online and search for "hot blonde", you're in for a treat.
Today good luck finding a one piece that isn't an XXL.
Check out the one pieces on Modcloth.com. They usually run XS-XXL. So most body types are covered. 😉
+Morgan O'Brien-Bledsoe Really? They have them everywhere here, but I'm sure if you went to a sports store they'd have them there (in all sizes) :)
+Morgan O'Brien-Bledsoe I have plenty of one pieces a lot smaller than that
+Morgan O'Brien-Bledsoe
I'm a medium and it's not hard to find one at all
I wear an xs one piece because my ribcage sticks out a lot, I'm not anorexic or anything its just that most of my weight is distributed to my thighs and I feel weird
I LOVE THE 90s SUIT! So cute and sporty and they look good on several different body types. I've been seeing them online a lot and just pray they are making a comeback
What's the name of the girl with curlie hair? I've seen her in many videos and she's gorgeous.
Kimmie Turtle Sierra Santana
I know right?
I really love the fact that there are so many swimsuit styles today!
The 1950s girl is the same one who played the marilyn monroe esque girl right
But you got to admit it, her body is killing
That's a good thing Bruce??? Like dafuq? She's feels good about her body??
CheladaGirl No no it's not. That is the problem not caring about her health is a huge problem and it stems form moronic ideas of being happy with your body. I challenge anyone who is out of shape to work out and then tell me what feels better.
Bruce Wayne how are you a moron by telling someone they look beautiful, by boosting their self esteem? She thinks she's beautiful because she's confident and she actually is good looking unlike your dumbass
Domini Guscott Being above average weight is beauty though. Atleast not physical beauty. I will tell you that character is immensely important but you need to be at least normal weight.
The plump tanned woman with the frizzy hair was stunning, I wish I could be as stunning as her
Yoy should do children's outfits throughout history or something
Make more "through history" videos! I love seeing the evolution from the past to now
C'est quoi cette chanson bizarre? O_o
.
+Melanie Plistis C'est pour nous empêcher de s'amuser lorsque nous regardons ces filles
the hell yall speaking lmao
+Melissa NGO French.
+Melissa NGO French.
That high-cut leg from the 90's was awful 😱
I heard it's coming back in style.
+mastersnet18 Noooo 😱😱😱
+PotterLatina VEVO how is it awful? It makes you look like you have long legs... Lol.
Although If I wear them I'd have SUPER long legs. Lol.
Cherryl Hulsbosch Look at this cdn.images.express.co.uk/img/dynamic/79/590x/481445_1.jpg
That's disgusting
Male version next please.
Just a pair of shorts, maybe a speedo here and there
I got a idea for the new men's Swimsuit just wear a Condom not only is it going to get attention but it's waterproof and provides protection on the beach,
TheftHacker HD LOL
Arthur78 They used to wear these really dorky one pieces. Looked okay on women but just kinda silly on the men xD
Just thanks for using all type of bodies in this video
Does anyone know where you can buy the GORGEOUS swimsuit from the 1950s???
There are probably many websites that have 50's inspired swimsuits :) just search them on google and look under the shopping category you'll probably find some ^.^ good luck!
Samantha Azambuja Thank you so much! :D now to somehow find the money to buy ALL the swimsuits!! ^_^
Iben J Yes, they are Esther Williams swimsuits... I bought mine from ModCloth as well but you can also buy directly from the Esther Williams brand's website. I love mine so much.... it's modest yet it makes anyone look totally hot wearing one... it's a great piece.
Iben J MODCLOTH the exact one in the video
WALMART . I got one just like that in red
Am well the only one LOVING the 1930s swimsuit?
I LOVE that one
Y'all should do wedding dresses throughout history!
They forgot the 80's
Look up 80s swimwear...
+Kayto101 I understand now....
+Aidan Paige I literally typed 80s swimsuits and oh gawd some of them are transparent.................
You're better off without the 80s.
Because it was a huge rock movement, everyone was conceited, so it was basically dental floss
Tbh, I think those girls should be models XD
especially the girl with curves
Maria Maya Yessss!
+Princess Roxy
isn't it the 1950's ???
Maria Maya Watch it again
+Princess Roxy
yeah . the girl in the dark green 1 piece swimming suit . the 1950s girl.
1990 for the win
samr
Ah mai god girl, i hope u guys been doing some sit up right now.
It was all down hill after the 60s
Luna Mama Why do you say that?
Batman Because it's their personal preference.
Angela Gray Why are you trying to answer for her?
Batman Why are you asking her in the first place? Why should someone justify themselves? What people like is based on their personal opinion no matter what their reasoning is when it all boils down it's based on personal opinion. It's likely they prefer the more modest look. Perhaps shes self conscious and prefers them. So what?
angela you need to calm yourself
The chick modeling the 40s suit was gorgeous
Right, she looks like a pin-up
THE GIRL IN THE 1990S ONE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL OMG
Bikini's with high waisted bottoms always look amazing.
whales cant wear swimsuits.... I am a whale...
I am too. I love my tankini tho
Whales are cute though
I am a sea cucumber.
I am a robot
I am a banana
1:00 Yes! Someone finally has a flatter chest than me 😂👏👏👏
I love how Buzzfeed is using people with different body types, because when you aren't seeing sticky skinny people prancing around, you feel more comfortable. Although comparing yourself isn't good, when you see someone similar to your body up there, you can't help but feel better.
I would totally wear the 1960s one
Am i the only one who'd never wear bikinis ? i am ... ? ok :)
Same
rhea jean I bought one and tried wearing it during a cruise trip.... I've gone back to 1 pieces (mine is the exact same as the 1950s model's swimsuit, but in dark red).. it's very flattering and I love it. Bikinis make me feel like I'm running around in my underwear... lol
I don't even where regular two piece
Me too
Wearing 2 piece swimsuits make me feel like I only have my undergarments on.
