Q. How far is this hanging down in the centre.

The u-bolt (in the center) is about a 16th of an inch from the bottom of the transaxle. Pushed it up as much as I could.
Yeah, my trans plates are quite eroded under those nuts. I decided not to risk it, and never installed it...

I have heard, the installation of that center piece on the transaxle. Causes leaks from the seals of those side covers. Have you experienced this? I want one, but not at the expense of a leaking transaxle.
I didn’t have any issues, but it was a new tranny as well.
But, you could always get longer studs to help with the torque.
Great info, Alway wondered if the “Camber Compensator” is a worth while investment. You mention that you had one on another car, how did that make a difference in everyday driving?
I like it, makes a difference. I think it’s worth the $90. I would suggest getting the longer studs for the bottom of the trans though. When you’re wanting to help the suspension, but not spend a lot of money, this is great!
It appears to pull the axles downwards, does it? Did it raise the height a bit?
Doesn’t pull it downward from the normal height.
I have two inch drop plates on my 64 do you think it will work with the drop plates?

does this help with body roll? have a 67 with swing axle n got major body roll on the highway.
Sure does! I would get new gas shocks for the front, back, and a better anti-sway bar for the front as well.
@@VitosFix , so I def need to upgrade my shocks. I recently upgraded the front sway bar with a 3/4" but still have major body roll. Will the camber compensator work with the z- bar?
The website is saying that it will not work with the Z-Bar. I would give them a call tomorrow though and ask why not.
