The song is epic, and YOU are epic! I've been in mourning for the last year after three major losses, and haven't been watching reaction videos. Then the other day I found you again.😊 I love to see you happy! Thank goodness we're both still here. 🩷
Seventies music was easily the best decade of rock, fusion bluesy rock and folk rock. As far as living through it in NYC it had its ups and downs though glad I lived through it!
Thanks for reacting to my hometown boys from Winnipeg, Canada 🇨🇦 As others have mentioned Randy Bachman was originally in The Guess Who then left to from BTO. Not Fragile Rolling down the Highway Hey you Blue Collar Taking Care of Business Let Ride Looking out for number 1 to name a few. Cheers
I started the '70's when I was 13 years old and was lucky enough to enjoy all of those magnificent songs of the '70's as new releases. What a wonderful and magical era it was. It is great to see you back J.B.! Remind everyone who had subscribed to you before to make sure that they haven't been unsubscribed by youtube. All the best to you sir!
Randy Bachman was part of The Guess Who & then went on to form the band BTO in 1973. Both were great Canadian rock bands. BTO had a lot of great songs in the 70's such as "Takin' Care Of Business", "Let It Ride", "Hey You", "Roll On Down The Highway", "Lookin' Out For #1", "Not Fragile", "Four Wheel Drive" etc.
When BTO was finished recording the Not Fragile album, their manager liked what he heard, but said, "I don't really hear a single. Do you have anything else?" Randy said, "Well, I do have a track that I recorded for my brother, but I did not intend to release it." Their manager said "Let's hear it", and Randy played this song for him. "That's it! That's the hit!" he said. Randy said, "No, no, not with the stuttering vocal I recorded." Randy tried rerecording the vocal without the stuttering. Didn't work, didn't sound as good. So they released the stuttering version and the rest is history. Randy said later when he was driving in his car with his wife during the song's chart life, he would immediately change the station when the song came on. His wife said to him "You've been waiting three years for a number one single and now you don't even want to listen to it?" Randy stated in interviews years later that he finally overcame his embarrassment about the recording (and his brother really liked it!).
70s is my favorite too! Sooo much great music. Parties, beach, cruising around with the 8 track blasting, singing it loud with my friends.Good memories and the music is still as great as it was then.Music today just doesn't cut it.

Amazing song and amazing smile and reaction from you!
The song originated as a joke song by Randy Bachman (the lead singer) to his brother who stuttered.
Great reaction. I grew up listening to this band. Thanks and God Bless.
Yes! You got it! Except I think when she said “You ain’t seen nothing yet” she was talking about what she had just done to him. I’m ready!

You might want to check out another hit of theirs "Takin' Care of Business". No stuttering, but a great song.

My favorite part of the song 😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Check out their song “Let it Ride” 🔥🔥
They are a very versatile band. For something completely different listen to Blue Collar and Looking Out for #1.

Keep your heads down. Randy has stated numerous times that his name is pronounced BACKman.
