  • Programming your Homelink mirror to open the garage in a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander
    If this video helped you, please hit the like button!
    Here are some steps that other Toyota model owners may find useful if the steps from the video did not work:
    1. Hold your garage or gate remote within 1-2 inches of your Toyota HomeLink system.
    2. Press and hold both the remote button and your desired HomeLink button. The HomeLink indicator light should now begin flashing quickly, or show solid green.
    3. Release both buttons, then press the HomeLink button twice to confirm.
    4. Press the HomeLink button once to test garage door functionality. If the door does not open, continue with steps 5-7.
    5. Enter your garage and locate the garage door opener. Once located, press the LEARN or SMART button on the back of the device.
    6. Return to your Toyota within 30 seconds, and press the HomeLink button three times.
    7. The door should now be paired, and can now be opened with both your remote, and the HomeLink system.

    Does my remote need to be in the car in order for my mirror opening to work?

      Yes. To program the button on the mirror, your garage remote should be close to it during the programming process.

    I got this same rear view mirror but for my 2024 rav4 xse hybrid. May I know if this is a digital rear view mirror where you can see it up close? Thank you.

    Do you have to press button on overhead garage door opener first for 2024 Camry?

      Kris, after programming, do you need to keep the hand held remote somewhere in the car when using the mirror garage door opener?

    • @theXchange
      @theXchange  11 месяцев назад +2

      @debrapolitz6580 you do not. Throw it in the quintessential junk drawer in your kitchen.

      What if i don’t have a remote to open the garage door? We have a panel on the side of the garage on the outside or open garage door on an app

      @pamelageorge1639 If there is a learn button on your opener, perhaps that would work.
