Thanks for explaining Cleanshot! I need those links to the Cloud for my workflow. I'm looking into Cleanshot X for that. This might be the application I am going to use. I do have a question though. It's after the word 'link' (7:48) in combo with your Cloud explanation, you got me confused. You go the the very right bottom of the screen en click a smal rectangle and their it is, the link. That part of the video is unclear to me. Why do you go to the right bottom of the screen? It looks like nothing is there.
Oh, that was me just using the Quick Note feature in Apple Notes. I just needed to paste the link somewhere to show that it had been copied to my clipboard and so I pasted this into an Apple Note in the video.

Thanks, I actually recorded using Screenflow on the Mac using the Logitech Brio 4K webcam. ScreenFlow records the screen and webcam which you can then edit how you like in their editing software.
Was looking to see if you could explain the audio settings when recording a zoom call. I downloaded this app and recorded a zoom call and it only recorded my voice and not my guest. So the whole interview was botched. I used my AirPods 😢
There is a limitation to the Scrolling Capture. If your page is long, the screenshot elongates to the point that it becomes a strip with nothing readable on it. I don't know if there is a way around it and I'm missing something.
I'm hoping it records the AUDIO from the screen as well, like from a zoom call or youtube video? If not, not much different than taking a SS from the mac and editing in Notes app . . . !

I am looking for a video screen recorder with device audio, and for the price, cleanshot x seems to do a good job + all the amazing screenshots features :p. But I am a little concerned about the lack of control on export properties...
Another quick question if I may :) Does the video file coming from the video recorder separates the audio from device and the one from microphone into two different tracks in final file ? Thx !
@@minor-co I asked about the bitrate cause I want to use it in parts to record gaming sessions, and some recorders I have try turn those clips into puree :p. I'll give it a try, seems solid. Thx again for your answers.
clean shot x CANNOT follow your screen, your capture area while recording, so why is this the best screen recorder? a very basic , necessary function, move your window, and it records what was behind it, your desktop, brilliant, lol
You can do this. Instead of recording the entire screen, you can select an area to record and whatever appears in that area is recorded... (unless I've misunderstood)
@@minor-co yes you choose an area. Hit record. But. The second you move that area. That browser window. To the side. Down. Etc. Minimize. You’re recording nothing. I need to record a meets. Zoom. Video. Choose browser window. Have it record And be able to move to side to view other things. Or read notes. Etc. Can’t do it. It’s a static record. Of your screen
@@-musiclee- I use SLACK, and slack allows me to choose a window, record, and MOVE IT, and it "follows" the window, no matter what screen i put it to, or where i move it to, crazy. how clean shot can't do this simple thing

Make sure you enable the option to record Computer Audio as well.

Whats the highest full screen quality? is it 2160p 4K HDR or higher because thats what I need a Mac app for. I ant to record games in top quality

It supports up to 4K which is more than I need. 😀
You can choose in the settings whether you want the video and audio combined or not.
