    Dairy consumption increases breast cancer.
    Dairy is full of the hormone estradiol because the dairy cow is milked while it is pregnant and it has been measured in the milk. The 7th day Adventists are often studied because they are health conscious, don’t drink alcohol or smoke, and eagerly participate in studies. ADVENTIST HEALTH STUDY 2 showed the more milk the Adventists consumed the higher the breast cancer. This study was confirmed by a study in China, CHINA KADOORIE BIOBANK STUDY. The Conclusion: The more dairy you consume the higher your breast cancer risk. ¼ cup/day of milk increases breast cancer risk by 17%.

    • @VeganLinked
      @VeganLinked  6 месяцев назад +5

      Vegan is a philosophy. It's not a diet so we don't really know what you're doing. I think the healthiest way of eating is a well-planned whole Food diet consisting of legumes, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices and a proper variety of each. But that's just the nutritional component of a healthy lifestyle. Other things like proper supplementation, exercise, sleep, social support, not doing drugs, stress management, etc also play into a healthy lifestyle. Most vegans I know though have a lot of energy. And they claim it goes up going vegan. And most I know sustain it far beyond the non-vegans I know even younger than them. But those are just my mere observations. Hopefully you're getting proper sleep and exercise. And at least supplementing B12 and probably D. It's always best to consult your physician if you are having any sort of physical things going on.

    • @VeganLinked
      @VeganLinked  6 месяцев назад +6

      So your physician might check you for something like maybe anemia for example where fatigue could creep in. So if you're not eating enough things like lentils and dark green leafies along with maybe a little vinegar or lime to increase iron absorption then you might want to consider stuff like that for every meal possible. But that's more likely if you're like a menstruating woman especially if you have excessive bleeding for some other condition.

      It might be a good idea to check your thyroid. Theres a simple, easy self test called the Barnes test. Leave a thermometer on your bedside table. When you wake in the morning, before you move around at all, take your temperature and write it down every morning for a week. If its consistently below normal, you, likely, have a thyroid condition. That would be a major reason for feeling tired, exhausted or fatigued. And, maybe, you're inactive because you're tired. If you find that its your thyroid, read the book, Stop the Thyroid Madness. He seems very compassionate to animals, and I really like this guy, but I have some questions. Does he not consider the cows he "took care of" on the dairy farm as exploitation, no matter how "kind" he thought they were being? You certainly wouldn't do that to a human, raise them to steal their "product"! I wish people in India understood this.
    Also just curious, he said that uprooting some plants is violence (?) But to whom, the plant? Plants are here for a reason, either as edible nutritious food or as medicine like carrots and garlic. I see nothing wrong with plucking and using root vegetables.

    • @VeganLinked
      @VeganLinked  6 месяцев назад +7

      If I see him again somewhere quiet where we have time I'll try and remember and dig into that. As for cows, I'm not sure where that question is going, maybe I need to re-watch, it's been some time since I cut this. He's vegan now so I assume like any of us who once were not vegan we have our regrets. I could explore what thoughts he's had on this though. As for killing the plants, I can see having respect for the plant. If there's no need to consume tubers and it kills the plant then, well, why eat them? And maybe it would be better to eat fruits, nuts, seeds, greens, legumes, grains, etc. Food is very regional and some communicate it in more spiritual ways. It would be nice to hear him flow on these questions and more in a controlled, quieter environment... Thanks!

      He's just taking his compassion to plants a step further by not harvesting a plant that will destroy it.

    • @VeganLinked

      I honestly don't know how you think it is in anyway exploitation if you are giving milk to baby first and taking care of cow and then taking milk.
      Uprooting is not violence (definitely won't use that word) but yes it is said here that plants might be sleeping during night so we shouldn't pluck their leaves at that time.

I think we just need to work with all those variable until we find the perfect combination for our particular lifestyle.
      Lately I've been eating lentils with broccoli and cabbage most days (inspired by Bryan Johnson's super veggie meal) and I'll bulk cook that. I start the day with water/lemon, then some fruit, then my version of super veggie, then I'll have maybe a salad or smoothie, fruit, or if I'm in a rush an Amy's dish, then my last meal is the mixed grain porridge that's like a dinner/dessert. Bryan doesn't eat for 8 hours before bed, I may make it that long, something it's only 6 or 4 hours. Then I wake up hungry, but exercise a little before I eat. Maybe if you changed what you're eating and the eating times up you'll find something that energizes you. But, it seems the best thing is getting the bulk of your calories earlier in the day like I've been saying. Dr Greger has been stating this consistently for a while now, that's where I got the breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper :) @@betzib8021

    0:25 He said he went vegan in 2009, but yet your thumbnail said "Never eaten meat." Why do you lie like that VeganLinked? How can we trust any of your videos if you can't keep your integrity and honesty intact?

      Who is The skeleton guy? Rather than listen to him you might want to consider this trim fit healthy gastroenterologist instead. Or if you're looking for somebody that spends time in the gym Dr Simon Hill, Dr Joe DeMarco, or Dr Amen who are all stronger than you will ever be.
