I love The Busker and the song my country, Malta, has entered this year. It's different, quirky and catchy. The guys are having fun, the singer is super cute, makes you want to get up and Dance. I'm half Australian. Go Malta/Australia 🇲🇹🇦🇺
I think this might be a surprise qualifier despite the position of death, this song is just different and cheerie enough to make it pop and make it qualify. To me this is a borderline, but would not be surprised if it qualifies, and I think it is pretty deserved of its positive response. If anything I'm more confident of this qualifying than last year XD
Norway, Malta, Serbia. That's a bloodbath of a running order for the semi final. It'll be an injustice if Malta doesn't qualify out of the televoting only semi-final, with a televoting friendly song, just because they're Malta.
I was delighted when Deban name dropped Randy Crawford. She’s one of the best especially the song When I Get Over You. Related to Malta, this is a fun song but I think it’s going to get forgotten. But the opening of Norway Malta Serbia Latvia Portugal is so eclectic it should keep most viewers interested.
My hope is that Portugal becomes a shoo-in for the Finals so I can give Malta my votes for Semi 1 as the song is excellent. (Since this is the first year the ROW gets to vote I'm taking my role very seriously.)
I really hope we qualify (although putting us 2nd right after the Queen of Kings is kind of meh) - I think its a good song (maybe I am biased as I am Maltese) - obviously 100% not a winner but this time I think we deserve to go through as opposed to last year (cringe) - those comparing them to sunstroke projects....... The saxophone was invented in the early 1840s by a Belgian inventor.

I usually love the songs from Malta but, for me, this is easily the weakest of their entries for many years. Saved by the charisma of the lead singer, but I just think the actual song is weak.
