- Floyd Tillman wrote this song which has also been recorded by Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Wilie Nelson & Hank Snow. Marty never recorded the song himself, but he did do another of Floyd's, namely the Second World War ballad 'Each Night At Nine.' Tillman's other big songs include the adulterer's anthem 'Slippin' Around' which has been a hit several time over for atists such as Floyd himself, Ernest Tubb, George Morgan & Marion Worth, Roy Drusky &Priscilla Mitchell, Texas Jim Roberson and Jimmy Wakely & Margaret Whiting. Floyd also wrote one of the greatest love songs of Country music, namely 'I Love you So Much It Hurts Me.' recorded by Patsy Cline, Ray Price and Charlie Gracie.

Love Marty, however Ray Price has the best version of this great song.
Great vocal as usual from Marty but interesting that he misses the words in a couple places. "So let's do right or let's just say we're through."
Marty sings it all from 1940s to Hawaiian sang in the native language falsetto style.
