Every time i wanna run bleed build, all i can find are poison items. And every time i want to go with poison build, bleed items are there 🤨
Same with me, every time i do a physical run, i get magical items, and vice-versa

@@Ibroketherubber The items you find have inscriptions. When you get multiple inscriptions of the same type, they become stronger. A "bleed build" is referring to finding items with "excessive bleed" and item effects that support/synergize with this effect. You can do a lot to try to make a build, but since it's a roguelite, there's much less control over your build than in dark souls.

@Pre-Post-Man actually tried gargoyle and he's decent. High B low A imo, got to DFH but got hit by every fucking grab, lol.
@@vastolord_a7853 low A is a hell of a stretch imo. Whilst-aerial items like sylphid wings and the actual aerial inscription make him good/ok, but his damage is just so extremelly ass he falls into Low B
@Pre-Post-Man from my experience he does pretty good damage. Also Sylphid are ass considering they're locked behind the 10 dashes which is a pain in the ass to manage, while you can use that item slot for some better like, any other soar item.
I had Rosary, Jenny's Chain Sickle, and the bleed boots for Soar items (locked in the 4th). Everything else was to get damage (also had The Ring and Pot of Greed, and Invisible Knife, and Legendary Bomber as a swap.)

Bleed builds can be some of the most INFURIATING things to do, because there are SO many good items such as blooming blade shards and the blood drunk sword, but they’re a BITCH to both get and upgrade!

So garlic produces a chemical called allicin? I believe that is the flavor we taste, much like peppers and spice its actually designed to hurt but in a way that our mouths like and thats why it tastes so good. The point of this is to say allicin actually deteriorates very quickly and garlic is at its post potent roughly 15 minutes after youve broken it down and after that it gets much less intense, jarred garlic you can get in the store is not very good purely because its preserved in auch a way that the allicin is lost during the jarring process so the best thing to use jarred garlic for is like decoration/topping. Instead if you want better preserved garlic go the route of garlic paste. For some reason paste doesnt lose as much allicin during the preserving process and as a result you can retain that garlicky flavor without actually needing to chop or mince or grate any garlic yourself also it means you can have it ready for whenever you need it instead of trying to meal prep in advance and wondering where all the garlic flavor went

Hey beelz, have you tried going for money rooms after your build is almost set up, like around mid act 3/beginning of act 4? Fell like it might be better, since if you're looking for an specific item it's less likely to find it in item rooms rather than the shop, since shop shows 4 items. Also at the second shop in act 4 maybe it's worth to not use your money at all to use it in the last shop and try to get a specific legendary, since last shop has a higher chance for legendary (i think so)
It's just habit because item rooms have more potential. Small chance to get lucky the naturally dupe an item. Omens can only be found this way. I may end up taking one of the 2-3 Omens I like. If a legendary chest appears I have my choice of 3 items as opposed to maybe getting 1 in the shop I'd have to buy for 2k gold (as opposed to free). So in that regard I'm saving money. The final shop in particular pushes prices up way too high to be super reliable. You either find an item you want right away, or you leave, rerolling is just not worth it there unless you want to dump 3k+. At that point you just take item rooms and use what left over gold you have on food/special shop items.
Hey Beelz, idk if you have done this already, but would you ever try a physical damage, basic attack focused Little Skul only run?
Hell no :D I've done challenges like this in the past, before the game got far far more difficult. Runs like this would result in a 3 hour video minimum that would melt my brain (let alone the audience).

@@Beelz55 I immediately gave up on the physical damage Skul run. Okay so in my defense, 2 minutes into the run i got a manatech gauntlet from dark quartz shop, golden wand from a chest, and a nether mana suppressor from a random artifact box...

This video reminded me of a very sad skul moment I had. I got legendary sword boy, crimson sword (double solar sword cuz god bless slime king), blood-drunk sword, four bleed and gunpowder sword. I was happily waiting for the grail and then the sorceress FKING clapped me. I cried (not really).

Got my best rng on a bleed build gettin x2 miracle grail thanks to slime, olive tree, hipe slasher and bloodfest, unfortunately it was on DM 0 cuz I was just testing and managed to get 4 bleed and 4 strike...but every time I try going DM 10 i dont even get the sword :c

How about a funny haha dark Skul mirror build run? Lil Bone, Pike and Balrog quintessence, don't know what else can make it closer to dark Skul setup. Maybe rig in a sin item and make it all magic for artifact meteors? Just as an idea.

One idea request I have for you. Rig in one of the Sin items at the start and do a run as a physical skul using magic items (or vise versa). Could be interesting! I am going to give it a try myself.

Recently I somehow got a wolf run with terrible blade shards that got duplicated by slime, as well as got bloodfest from dark abilities, which I guess could qualify as a bleed run, but I couldn’t find sword anywhere. Why are bleed runs always like this

Could have swapped out the belt for sages. Would have allowed you to retain courage while still replacing the sword, and since you have no cd reduction, you'd have the physical bonus up constantly.

got my absolute zero run today which is absocooly cracked, it's still on normal mode, but man, now i can relate on your pain on choosing what item you need to pick, i was given ice scale pauldrons, frost witch staff, frost giant leather, and glacier breaker, on the freeze boi!!! also got really lucky with dark priest robe and knight's determination for revenge as i still always got hit, fulgent dawn card doing it's job, and the last 2 items is where the pain started
got mana bone as freeze boi is balanced, with alche as the pair, then i was given the ring by one of the item room, then, on the next shop, i rolled into infinite bone, decided to keep ring and mana bone because of hoping for 2 wisdom and stats, and after defeating joan, greeted with her all her specific drops, which both have wisdom for that sweet amp, decided to go with the leonia armor for the fortress for more survivability, and as usual as newb, recklessly fight daddy-o because i can't see ship XD
also just found out that masterpiece clone stamp is deleted because of the problem it cause, man, rip clone clone twt)

I have a question is there a specific place to look at for how items affect each other?
Cause im cuirous does the Mana Bone synergize with 4/4 Mana Cycle? More exactly does skill damage affect effects items have that deal specific damage to enemies? Examples:
Mana Neclace
Bone of Mana
Archer boots
Etc...
No, skill damage effects won't boost item damage. It's why the Go-Getter dark ability is so strong because it boosts item effects. Because Mana Cycle specifically stipulates that it affects Skills it won't work on items.
@Beelz55 Ahh okay. Good to know Before I got to work I had a run going where I got Mana Bone and Mage necklace so I got curious as to if I could boost them. (Using Skull/mage) Since Im just spamming skull skills spawning alot of obrs and rings I was curious. Guess ill just bump it to a 4 wisdom 2 artifact build.

As usual, after watching Beelz do skul run, I get inspired and do my own. I was doing very safe ent boy run and its going great actually. Mana circulator, 2 mana cycle, 4 arms, 2 revenge and I even manager to snag 2 courage with Hope Slasher!
And guess what? I got Miracle Grail not once, but twice! First at sisters fight and now at the shop just sitting here and mocking me after my previously failed Bleed run.

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know if ending your run rather than fighting Alexander counts as a win? I've just completed DM2 and it's the first time the next chapter option has come up.
I've literally never chosen that option as I never saw the point. It *should* count as a win as the dialogue implies you're only leaving for now to come back stronger.

I was doing a skul bleed run myself on dm1 (I got the game now yeeyyyy!!), and was so creeped out because I had your vid in the background literally announcing the things I was trying or had to do/done (Masterpiece and keeping 4 just for a good one, etcetera). Like jesus christ, lmao

Whenever I come across the good bleed items it's when I'm doin a magical build or something that just doesn't involve bleed. If I actively look for them they become impossible to find.

Been doing another playthrough on switch since screen border settings doesn’t do a thing on PS4 and my screen crops any special skull resource bars out, did my dm0 run and almost killed dfh with a near perfect pike build but of course he pulled shenanigans in the last half health of 2nd phase. Somehow when he did the suck in grab, the game decided to bug and teleport me straight into his hand when I was well away from him. Then he proceeded to spam some moves I somehow never saw before and before I knew it, I was dead in a matter of seconds. Idk how tf my run went from a near guaranteed clear to absolute chaos so quickly
