Beelz saying he was cold totally reminded me he's in Australia. I completely forgot he was and I was thinking how the hell are you cold. For me it's been like a solid 80 degrees for the past couple of days. I've actually been too hot.

Ay Beelz, as someone who has recently -survived- beaten the Elden Ring DLC I recommend you wait until you fight the final boss before you defend the difficulty, trust me. Nevertheless I hope you have fun with the dlc!
If the final boss is 3x or even 5x harder than whats in the DLC already, I'm still cool with it. The harder the fight, the greater the satisfaction.
No Spoilers. I’ve enjoyed the ER DLC. Love all the new weapons. I can see how people find it challenging but I think it’s balanced, maybe a tad tanky. Took me around 5 attempts for most bosses(except final boss, still going at it.) I used the classic sword & board build. Dark Moon is still busted. Blasphemous & Sacred are also strong in certain fights. Haligtree Crest greatshield blocks a lot of attacks.

The first two times I've cleared this amazing game were burn/dash Sage and Oberon Mummy builds after it came out on mobile.

Love werewolf he’s so much fun to use, the only real problem I have is I have the tendency to go a bit too fast and end up running face first into the enemies attacks and dying lol.

Awoo indeed. Great run, fast video, 50 mins ones are nice, I like the long stuff too though, I'm just weird and okay with taking two or three sittings to watch a video lol. But then some of my hobbies are okay for multitasking so half of the time I'm doing something while watching, probably why.

Played bit of Brotato recently and now i got the idea of what if you could also lock in items in the shop in Skul?
In case you can't buy it or you're not sure you want it in your build yet, ofc locking it would remove the chances of it appearing in an item room or boss drop later
I've been enjoying the DLC a lot so far. Started a little bit late though because I made a entirety different character after finding the Perfume Bottle weapons.

Just did a little DM 0 run earlier, got King and literally just spammed basic attack to win. Got all the way through Dad and Alexander with 10 health left at the end. Trying to beat DM 10 has been hard, so I wanted to go back to easier times.

Im pretty deep into it and did the horrible mistake of playing it in ng+4, everything 1 or 2 shots me in the beginning, after getting some of the scadutree thingamajigs, I've been surviving more but i did that to myself of course. Been surviving well although cant enjoy it as much as i wanted to because of how difficult it is, but as i said, i did that to myself. Many of the dlcs bosses in fromsoft games usually are the hardest there is in they're games but i really cant imagine shadow of the erdtree is truly as hard as ppl say it is in base difficulty if im over here getting slapped so hard in ng+4, but in the end of the day its a fromsoft game, of course itll be hard. Although I am suffering hard, I am enjoying the hell out of it.
For anyone newer wanting to do a crit build on the higher DM levels but they notice they drop off here is one that is actually good. Werewolf with the wooden bow and the daggers everything else into courage and arms plus whatever you can cram into there for collection desire. That way you will have high base damage to be multiplied which you must have on the higher DMs. A total crit based build sucks ass on the upper difficulties. Werewolf has the base crit to make it work for some sick crits with little crit investment. Plus Werewolf is neat.

I just did a werewolf run that went busted. Got Black Steel Dagger and Pain and Despair in act one. Lost on old man Alex. Fun time overall.

The fact that people are saying Shadow of the Erdtree is too difficult when its a FROM SOFT game, known for putting challenge into challenging is just hilarious to hear.
Armored Core 6 on release from what I heard was challenging and people struggled against 3 bosses; Balteus (Prototype), Sea Spider, and IB-01: CEL 240 and yet look at what happened to those bosses after the patch that nerfed them. The only boss I had trouble with the most with the game was ALLMIND and her modified IBIS series mech.
I'm worried that people will voice their negativity too much with Shadow of the Erdtree and its going to turn into another nerf patch.
EDIT: I know its a dlc but its still part of the game lol

Loving the Elden ring DLC been playing on NG+3, the only fight that has been a real struggle has been the final boss

I’m fine with you doing Dark Mirror runs lower than 10 because like you said it opens up a lot more options for runs
Advice for if shadow of the erdtree is kicking your ass: have at least 60 vigor, scavenge for as many scadutree fragments as you can find, use the opaline hardtear in your physick for bosses, and equip defense talismans like dragoncrest shield talisman

I agree, Mirror 10 runs get reeeaally tiresome fast. I've been doing normal and mirror 7 runs since they are just so much more enjoyable.

I’m gonna say it and people can flame me for it; my biggest beef with Elden ring is the fact that there are enemies and bosses that do way too many combos to either dodge around or even find a good enough opening to do more than one or two hits at a time. It gets annoying.
It's why I liked the Knight boss the most so far. Being able to parry feels good. Alternatively, a guard counter build is absolutely disgusting for handling some of the fights and will DEFINITELY get the new Tear they gave you nerfed. You can basically play Sekiro and win very safely.

Unfortunately no. I think Heritage would be the only way to make a difference for it. Which is why it's a bit of a weird run to do.

had a werewolf run yesterday that out damaged alexanders hand reheal had almost 3k pd with orc and was hitting insane modified strike crits was doing like 10k+ a leap with orc and hunt with all buffs activated still wasn't as op as og werewolf jump hit runs im still sad they nerfed him before the dark mirror update i wanted to see dark daddio try to tank high crit gps jump hit werewolf lol

I am having so much trouble on DM 3. It took me awhile to beat DM 2 lol any hints? On good builds for werewolf, pikeman and slave? I can’t think of a good one. Also having trouble getting good items.

Hey beelz, I just wanna know if this build is OK and j have a couple other questions.
I go with minotaurus with plow up every time I play dm 8 plus. I am on 10 rn. I try to get cudgel and just get as much physical damage and amps as possible. I Aldo boost health with pillars and super baby than get last resistance. Is that OK?
Also, if not, what build would you recommend for dm 10? And what is dark skul, is that a dm 10 thing
dark skul is a secret boss you have to unlock in the dark mirror before you can fight him. My Overexplained Dark Mirror video shows how to unlock him. I recommend Ghoul for getting fairly reliable wins most of the time. I've got a special Ghoul vid on Easy Wins.

Look,Beelz, man, i agree, complaining a dark souls game is hard is bull but i also agree nowdays people cannot afford spending hours over hours playing since its a hard life, and as those who enjoy a hard game they would love to enjoy a great game like elden ring, its such an awesome game but the learning durve is huge qnd the difficulty sucks...dojt make the game easier. Just make it an option...i might be asking a stupid thing but all games should have an easy option...and the producer dude saying the game is not intended for everyone is bull...it should be for everyone to enjoy their hard work...dunno man, im very biased on this so whatever, i always enjoy some games on easy or story mode just to unwind and relax...

All the elden ring commentary. I agree souls is known for "hard", and that is why i love them. But up to sekiro they also focused on fun. Their is only one boss i don't like in dark souls and that is champion gundyr. He never stops attacking. Gael, friede, even ishiin and genechiro have tells, down time, pacing. Godfried is just stupid. Margott half the time when he finishes a combo i expect to hear someone scream ULTRA! Currently im barely into the DLC but the lion was not fun. The twinblade knight was not fun. The twin blade goat knight is not fun. I am not happy with the direction of just bosses that do 97 hit combos is my only complaint.
They all have gaps that you can abuse. The lion has the trickiest gaps when he's buffed with lightning though due to the aoe. The only thing about the new boss fights I haven't liked was the camera, which is pretty typical of fights like those. The camera simply screwing you over more often than the bosses do. For me, the entire base games boss roster still had pacing and timing involved, I never had a boss fight I thought was blatantly unfair. Personally so far the Twin Knight fight has been my favourite boss of the DLC. Was very fun learning her move set and countering it.

I'm 38 and went back to play hollow Knight years after getting the platinum, and after trying about 90 times I couldn't even get absrad to second phase 🤣 also why does everyone have infinite poise?! Just got the death knight axes, twin winged axes were my fave is DS3 so I was like sweet! Maxed them out, respect build, got invade by the preachy fire sword guy wearing chain armor and no helmet! And proceeded to hyper armor through everything..
@@bryanmartin8935 Most enemies (same with players) gain bonus hyper armour when they swing their weapon. It's VERY hard to stagger them mid swing. It's a balancing act to prevent R1 spam cheesing stronger opponents. You either wait for them to commit to an attack and punish them for it, parry them, or play the poke game where you bait them with running/crouching attacks. They've improved enemies AI to make them respond a bit more intelligently to basic stuff. That being said... parry works a charm
