- On this episode we review the Seiko SRPC91 "Save The Ocean" Turtle. This is another great limited edition watch from Seiko that features a stunning blue gradient dial, 200M water resistance, robust 4R36 movement and the famous cushioned "Turtle" case.

Hi I have had mine for a month. Only losing 6 seconds over 7days! And my bezel lines up perfectly. Love this Watch!
Me too, my friend! I just received mine, and, wouldn't you know, the chapter ring is misaligned. Funny thing is, it is misaligned in the exact same fashion as my other Turtle! Way to go, Seiko, at least you can be perfect in your imperfection. ;)

Seiko fix it under warranty (they have done it for me a few times). If everyone starts getting them fixed under warranty, maybe Seiko will improve their QC.
My seiko turtle (STO) isn't uni directional.
The alignment on mine is perfect it's definitely a nice watch

I’ve had mine on nonstop for the past 3 days since it landed and I’m in love! Same bezel insert issue but might try and nudge it a smidge as the cement holding it on the bezel is often still gooey enough for a slight adjustment - I’ll let you know how it goes if I try it.

My bezel lands perfectly on 12 ....but I want a chrome bezel scared the black will scratch after some wear
I pick up my turtle save the ocean on the 26th feels great on the rist it's on the rubber strap and from an AD for a bit more peace of mind great video good information and visuals keep it up 😊

Changed my Save the Ocean strap to a Herschel like strap from France / no name product , imprinted alligator leather on the top , rubber on the skin , blue trim , and blue rubber , looks like a mint

I just purchased this very model. I’m absolutely in love with it! I agree with the fact that the strap is attracting lint and other dust and stuff. I Was thinking about putting it on a dark brown leather strap.,what do you think? My favorite watch and I can’t seem to take it off.

My sto turtle has the same issue with the bezel insert. Still, it’s a gorgeous watch that I just can’t take off. Plus, it’s literally thousands cheaper than the James Cameron that I wish it was. Hopefully one day it will share the watch box with the jc.

Just stumbled upon your channel, really love the content. I have been eyeing this one for quite some time now. However my 6in wrist is what’s stopping me from pulling the trigger... Though might just end up getting it regardless because of the gorgeous blue dial and pair it with a nice thin profile strap!

It's better in person. Warning, be prepared to walk into doors and walls when you spend a second too long staring at the dial. :-)
Great review. Just picked mine up yesterday. Luckily mine did not have the bezel and chapter ring misalignment issue. Overall a great everyday watch that's comfortable and looks great.

Can that issue with the bezel be fixed ?
Hi Mr SR71! You can carefully add acetone to allow to soak underneath the bezel insert. This will eventually break down the glue. Clean up excess and re apply straight with a similar glue.

I haven't checked one out yet. There are a few things that have kept me from purchasing one, and I know this won't be popular. First, it doesn't have a sapphire crystal. Second, I've heard from more than a few people that they can be +/- ten seconds per DAY off. You can get a new Tudor Black Bay with in house movement, for around the same price as the Marine Master, and I've personally experienced this watch, it keeps time to within 3 seconds per WEEK and is made with Rolex quality and materials. I have also heard from many people who have experienced the same thing. I hope that helps.
The Tudor Black Bay models are absolutely beautiful. If someone offered a choice of a B.B or a Rolex submariner, I’d pick the B.B..
SBDX017 is an amazing watch. Mine runs +7 a day.

The same but after a year was only holding a 24 hour power reserve instead of sending to seiko to get fix I sold used and lost about 40 bucks so after wearing a year not bad, key is buying right price.

These are considered a high end watch’s . I’m not saying it’s in a class like Rolex or Patek. I’m talking about functionality and durability. My fathers worn his Seiko turtle since 1976. Even though he’s wearing something a little more high end and fancy these days the Seiko still runs perfectly. It’s a bullet proof watch for an incredible price. My point, your watch should of ran flawlessly especially after only a year. The 3 year warranty is well worth $30
Hopefully u let the buyer know the power reserve issue and timing before selling it.
Japan is the country where they deprive whale species through their whaling industry for the purpose of "scientific research" aka food consumption. It's quite ironic for Japanese company to do promotion on saving the whales. I like how this watch look and the whale theme, but it bugs me too much to think about the fact.
