Everyone saying how bad the cyclops looks, I bought a king turtle and love it, sets it apart from the hoards of other divers on the market imo. Makes it more interesting and a touch classier
I have mixed feelings on how it looks. The benefits are there though. Definitely easier to read the day and date.
It's worth the extra $200. If you buy the sapphire and the bezel insert yourself their about $40-$50 each. Then when you put it together you have to hope that no water is gonna get in. The 200m water resistance is probably not there anymore unless you buy a tester to check it or if you pay for the test I'm sure your total for the swap and the test is gonna be $200 if not more.
Thanks, not to mention the cost of the crystal press or other necessary tools. Probably a good thing I don't have the tools yet, or I might be tempted to do the work myself, LOL.

Well, considering the cost in parts, plus the fee to have someone do it for you on a standard Turtle, I could think that the extra $200 to have it all done at the factory is worth it. But that's me. Good video.

I agree, it is a great watch for that price, as long as your wrist is big enough to support it.

You've got my favourite Turtles ever, you have good taste buddy. But i still think from both srpc091 have superior beautifull dial, insert, and with black crown and bezel on silver case it looks insane beautifull. The best turtle out there imo :) ive put for sale my Zelos SF 40 Teal so i can buy sbdy021 (JDM srpc091). Cant wait to get that beauty with kanji day wheel.
I still have both of these Turtles, in fact I have way too many Turtles
@@WrongTimeWatch which one you prefer from both of these? Ive tried on live sprc091 and i was shocked how it wears and how beautifull blue dial have, it will be my first turtle when i get it :)
I really like the dial on the 91
I bought the all black king turtle as it looks almost identical to the skx007 but with the upgrades and more curves to the edge.also it goes with everything colour wise and it's a strap beast.
That sounds like a cool watch. I don't own any black cased SS watches now though.

I have a black King Turtle, got it fir $350 off Ebay. I love it but it does have misalignment issues. C'mon Seiko!
Yea, I think they all have alignment issues. Still among my favorite brands, but still disappointing.

Well, I have a 6.5" wrist and I think it is maybe a tad bit too big. So, it will be fine on your 8.5" wrist.
It will be verging on too small on an 8.5" wrist.

It might be a little big, but I am ok with it.

I was thinking king turtle was bigger. They f'd up the whole watch with the cyclops. Way to ruin a sapphire Seiko
I don't hate the cyclops, but I don't like it either.
You can easily remove ithe cyclops. I did it several times.
Did you use a heat gun, or torch?
