Love you Marky. Turtle is a classic, mine still gets wrist time even with high end pieces hanging around. I wish on the king t they had upgraded to the 6r35 movement.
If you want a better movement you could go for a captain Willard~ it's double the money but it's still good value.
I love the blue Lagoon. It looks even more fantastic on a dark blue nylon strap with light blue stitching.

Seikos have some nice dials and lume on the Turtles. I also like the day/date complication. Good review Marc and good luck selling the Blue Lagoon.👍🏼
I’m looking at buying that king turtle but I think I will buy the Japanese model with the Japanese days of the week on it. I like that extra crap.
As for the KT, some love the cyclops, some hate it. I love it because I need it. And someday you will, as well.

The blue lagoon is gorgeous. If it were me I wouldn’t be selling it.
The king turtle speaks to me....really like the bezel and ceramic and sapphire... no need to mod it!
Yeah I like it too. I would just do one mod though. I would modify the space in my garbage can so that that magnifier could be fit into it.
Same here.. but my only complaint is I don't like the bezel😄. I prefer the bezel of the regular turtle... and according to several parts Dealers: they are not compatible. I love the domed sapphires so much I even replaced my King Turtle too lol
So my next option is to polish and accent the Kind Turtle's bezel myself. Wish me luck lol
@@212days I removed my cyclops within minutes of opening damn near all my Seikos. I even removed it from my Aquaracer (it was a real Bi**h trust me)
@@johnkennedy9078 within minutes. You don't mess around. I guess it would be somewhat reasonable to assume that you are not a huge fan of having a cyclops on your watch.
@@212days the only way to genuinely look at your watch with a cyclops is to hold it directly in front of your face like a weirdo. I always look at my watch near my belly button and the angle of the cyclops completely blocks the date from view. Yes, I f'n hate all cyclops lol

King Turtle Seiko with a Blue Lagoon colorway, maybe with the 'Manta Ray' texture face displaying OCEAN TURTLES instead of the mantas 🤔 only in a *perfect* world... I'm diggin' that Blue Lagoon

King Seiko lives on only in your garage sale.
Seiko can keep their sapphire due to fugly cyclops. Distorted sight picture of the hands is a real problem. Who actually needs to see what day it is when they are underwater? Nobody....
“Discount”?😂😂😂😂. Compared with a sub mariner maybe but hardly a low rent watch. I have a SE pepsi Turtle and everything is perfectly aligned. The only disappointment on these watches are the bracelets. If Citizen can fit a top dollar bracelet with ratchet adjustment for a wetsuit on their promasters then Seiko ought to be fitting similar to the Padi and King turtles.

Is this and SBDY047 same watch?
99% the same. The only difference is the day dial. It's English/Arabic on the SRPE03J1 and English/Japanese on the SBDY47.
