If you imagine the montage of characters just trying to survive in the same universe as each other but some of them meeting their ends (like the dude getting swarmed by ghouls or the other guy forgetting about the death claw) it makes it feel...a good kind of worse
@@izakireemsi2783 there is a "story" to be old it's not nate's or Nora's but it is a story unlike dust your not trying to escape there is no escape from this fallout only 8 years after the bombs fell the only goal is survival, that being said it's up to you what you consider survival you could join the [spoiler] town or just try and find your own place to settle. as someone who has played dust for 3 years by now. boy let me tell you, you can get alot of ammo in dust if you conserve it and search the right places. or make every shot count
@@ScoutTrooperMan I played it for like a week lmao There’s nothing wrong with it and I like it, it’s just there’s so many mods and ways to play New Vegas that I got distracted
Yeah watching that minigun fire I was like… nah nah. Dust is a game where I just grab an AR-15 and make it my friend. Loot all ammo and break it down into 5.56 rounds. I’d love to use some cool guns, but it’s a world of one shot one kill being the name of the game.
Awesome, I've really been craving this, having played the original dust for many hours It was lacking in a few ways, I hope this really makes it come together gameplay wise. Also very very glad we get to revisit the Sierra Madre, in my favorite mod now..
I always kinda hoped that the Sierra Madre in the dust universe actually becomes a safe ish settlement with some friendly survivors just for the irony but I understand that would go against the spirit and atmosphere of the mod.
I don't know if you know this but there is a mod that adds an underground settlement named "Understone", it has friendly survivors and you can trade stuff for food stimpaks etc..
Goddamn, this is very nice I've been waiting a long time for a proper Dust overhaul since my first playthrough and this combined with the mods your recommend are just what I was looking for 👍 Just one tiny question, will this be compatible with weapon animation mods like Hitman's seasons or Eli's collection?
The three weapons showcased were all of the changed weapons. Several unique weapons from FNV that were unavailable in DUST have also been re-introduced in Expansion Project. A future update will also add several weapons from Fallout 3 into DUST.
Oh this is has so excited. I loved Dust and always wished it had the same level of post-launch attention that Frost did. Is now a good time to jump in or should I wait for an update?
i fucking love dust but in a sense it feels like Call of Chernobyl, like a platform for other modders to come in, flesh it out and really make it shine
@@jadedteevee ok no worries i appreciate the heads up. I'm just gonna take it slow and get all the pre-reqs and basic dust stuff and then go from there. i have MO2 and NVSE ready and setup, throw these on: DUST Survival Simulator 2.0 DUST - Expansion Project DUSTed DUST DUST - Big MT Water Fix Manan's DUST Tweaks Mojave Sandstorms - DUST Expansion Project YUP - Base Game and All DLC then see how it goes.
Is this still being worked on? I'd love to see the endings being improved a bit, something like a NPC interacting with you asking if you are okay or a ending slider
Something i never liked about Fallout is the tons of mods u need to install to make it playable. Is there a standard list of mods that I need to install to play without issues and mods like Fallout Dust?
I just went and viewed the requirements.. and wow... that's a lot of garbage to install just to install your mod. 1st and foremost, I don't see a requirement for fallout new vegas, which I have. the things i've never heard of and don't have: DUST Survival Simulator Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP DUST Tweaks - Bug Fixes - Better Repair - And More DUSTed DUST - Even More DUST Fixes and Tweaks DUST - Big MT Water Fix So... that looks like about 20-30 minutes of fiddling with a good game install just to get whatever you added into the game. Why is this not a single installer? Why does it take seven separate installs to use this? Seems like either laziness, or lack of experience in coding. Most of the mods I add to my installs are simply sub to thier mod and it installs automatically. Idk...it seems like an awful lot of work for very little gain overall.

This looks awesome. FROST is great but I'll always love DUST and I'm glad people are finally starting to give it the appreciation it deserves
I agree. FROST is completely different from DUST.
Fallout FROST - Probably the best fo4 mod
Fallout DUST - Fallout DUST
Frost would be alot better if it was easier to get even the shortest install tutorials take a hour
Exactly
@@ramgaming2646 Meanwhile I don't even know what's my objective in FROST, because I don't know what to start

This feels like Fallout once more with that music and compilation lmao.

If you want to turn the mojave into a warzone in dust, run it with A World Of Pain, NPCs Travel, and The Living Desert.
also claim the mojave
Tld uses scripts from the main game for all its stuff though
That’s not recommended at all.
Bro's spreading misinformation
this is a terrible idea do not do this
Thanks for this, DUST is an unparalleled experience in the modding scene for any of Bethesda's games, glad to see it getting some modern love!
OK so basically everyone talking about how good the trailer is but that music spot on I love the 60s
DUST really needed some improving. Thank you for providing them.
This is what I've been waiting for, I've finished my supermodded playthrough, now i can really experience dust
I love the contrast between this and the original official trailer 2 LMAO
Fantastic job on the trailer.
AMAZING MOD. Exodus Radio is such a great addition to the mod as well, helps make DUST feel just a little bit less lonely.
I always kinda hoped that the Sierra Madre in the dust universe actually becomes a safe ish settlement with some friendly survivors just for the irony but I understand that would go against the spirit and atmosphere of the mod.

This trailer really deserves more views
Listening to Johnny Cash's Man in Black while trying to escape from the dreadful mojave and witnessing the worst of its inhabitants hits different.
Can I just say, the modding community is just so fucking good at making trailers as well.
This is an oddly cheery trailer for an oddly depressing mod I'm not complaining tho
DAMN THAT FOV
Not gonna lie, I added this oldie Goldie to my Spotify
Goddamn, this is very nice

👍
Just one tiny question, will this be compatible with weapon animation mods like Hitman's seasons or Eli's collection?
Not sure, I use Anniversary Anim Pack myself
I'm sure for the weapons added by DUST you'd have to make your own json files to add the knvse animations but everything else should be ok
More lore?
Make the fov even wider BIGGER I NEED TO SEE THE BACK OF MY CHARACTER'S HEAD
Not only that, let it be even brighter so that we can also go blind.
"Aw shit, here we go again" - The Survivor
looks awesome. thanks for all your work.
Finally. Thomas gets a video with over a hundred views
Will have to check this out
Very nice, always appreciate another reason to replay dust
That's absolutely COOL.
Fantastic Trailer man!
This trailer is awesome.

Wow its really cool seeing dust getting some deserved love.

Love this community
Imma get this after work.
goes hard
1:25 especially this part
Time for dust to take over my life again 🫡
Gonna try this now. I just hope it works well with the hitman animation mods (for weapons and item interaction)
The Creator himself uses Anniversary Anim Pack, so swap to that if you have any trouble :)
Good stuff man
Tbh, may be just me. But could it be possible to add the ability to just explore and hang around the ending areas. Maybe talk to the followers people?
quest quest quest and radio should be more like existence 2.0 even tho it should be lore freindly
Oh HELL yeah
whats the weapon animation mod?
Thank you
Shame idk how to set a mod staging folder to install mods
This looks incredible. I can’t wait to go back into hell
Less a complaint, more for a comment to boost the ol' algorithm, but WTF is going on with that FOV? Is that a VR thing?
where is the Vendortron??? I cant find him at vault 34.
big empty
And what’s the lore? What made DUST unique was the lore
its an expansion project, it adds areas to dust
FoV clearly isn't wide enough
does anyone have any reccomendations for a modding guide for DUST? i cant seem to find out where to start
To be honest I might just make a guide myself

Any chance we can get a list of the mods you used to make this trailer?
I need to go back to modding Fallout... too many good stuff being released, not enough storage space to keep it all. 😢👌
pretty sure the radio is the reason the mod page is down
EP has since been put back up, with the radio sadly removed.
if i ever learn how to mod ill make a mod with a standalone version of the radio
Can I get a modlist, like can you take a screenshot of your modlist or something?

what about manual breathing? that'd be fun
Theres already a bathing mod on the nexus with stat buffs and debuffs based on your hygiene so we're getting there
So many shitty mods but no mods for shitting, shame
Nice
I need to get a pc just for this mod
Hope i can run this without the game crashing
the mod looks good but i wish that you used music that fit the mod for the trailer
Song? Anyone know the song?
Trouble in Paradise by The Crests

playing modern warfare with POV 100 lmao
