So, I've just run a New Vegas on a PC that NEVER had it (means no mods), and rushed for the Dam to prove something. All of these themes are actually used in the game. NCR mid plays on the Dam most of the time, and you can hear NCR and Legion's mid and high very easily during the Second Battle. But at the start of the game, it's low intensity theme that's playing there. And you can hear Legion's one if you jump into the river -in Lego City- and swim towards the Legate Camp. So, none of these are "cut ones", they're all in game.

First time I played, when the music kicked in, I panicked a little, thought it was combat music, ran around in a craze trying to figure out who was aggro'd on me. Realized it was ambient and calmed down. The music got louder and more intense and I freaked out again. Rinse and repeat. I love these tracks to death, but wish they were used elsewhere and not while just calmly walking around the dam.

AMAZING MOD. Exodus Radio is such a great addition to the mod as well, helps make DUST feel just a little bit less lonely.

See, this was epic and nice how after your long adventures in Fallout 3 all the way east in Washington D.C., you then went thousands of miles westward to the story of the Courier in New Vegas and Hoover Dam. And did long adventures as him there. Nostalgia!

If you imagine the montage of characters just trying to survive in the same universe as each other but some of them meeting their ends (like the dude getting swarmed by ghouls or the other guy forgetting about the death claw) it makes it feel...a good kind of worse
