- The upstart Seattle Seahawks, led by former Green Bay backup QB Matt Hasselbeck, see their upset bid at Lambeau against the veteran Brett Favre and his Packers fall short as Hasselbeck's famous words after the overtime coin toss -- "we want the ball and we're gonna score" -- wind up being partially true.

“We want the ball and we’re gonna score”
Well...
Dunder Mifflin Regional Manager we want the ball, we’re gonna score/ throw a pick six and lose the game
So much for that.
Legend has it that Al is still running...
With his hair still flapping in the wind
Such a majestic sight
Al Harris, Ahmad Green, Donald Driver, Javon Walker, Darren Sharper...FAVRE aww man the memories! @OberSports Thank You
the best line up
You forgot Freeman, Franks, KGB, and Barnett
"We want the ball we're gonna score" *throws a pick six* what were you saying Hasselbeck
What they should have done is choose to kick it and let Favre give it back to them on the first drive
I mean, he wasn't wrong. He just scored for us by throwing that pick six.
Still one of my all time favorites. My friends and I tailgated at this game. ❤️
Brett Favre still can’t believe Ryan Longwell missed the game winning field goal lol
I was in the stands 10 rows up at the 15 yard Line on that side of the field. That ball hit a wall of wind that gusted at that exact moment. The trajectory of the ball was more than enough and it just died at the five yard line. What a game
This is a great channel! Love seeing all these Packers videos.
"We want the ball and YOU'RE gonna score" :)
I'm really starting to like you for posting these games, but please, PLEASE! Post the Sunday Night Massacre! Week 10 2014 Bears @ Packers, 55-14!
frenchfrey65 If I ever get my hands on it I will be sure to upload it. It’s on my to-do list.
Bless you! I watch the highlights to that game to this day and it still makes me lol, i have buddies online that watched that game with me and we were all crying in laughter, and then our Chicago buddies came online, and we simply lost it they were so pissed. Between their jokes, and how bad the Bears were in that game, the aftermath from ESPN, First Take, local Chicago sports shows, and other shows was side hurting inducing. That was one of the best weekends EVER!
@@obersports Packers vs Jets O.T win last year was good..and I was there lol
Another riveting Joe Buck call.... I prefer Wayne & Company radio call: YESSSS! HE IS GONE!
Well that's cause they're big time homers lol Buck is alright I think he's usually pro-pack for the most part...listen to his call in the 2009/10 playoff loss to the Cardinals on that OT fumble lol...and his excitement in 2013 on that Cobb game winner vs the Bears to clinch...he's ok in my book lol
@@-Always_Right- Buck is as much of a fucking dweeb shrill as Aikman is. Fuck em both.
I'm your Hasselbeck, er Huckleberry. "We're gonna score." Maybe they did later on that evening, who knows. To his credit though, he did throw the winning touchdown pass, so he has some bragging rights. I wonder why he never choses to use them... Are there cleat imprints on his tongue or on the roof of his mouth?
The legendary ball hawks of Green Bay...dirty one big Al . what team has been more stacked on the back end the last 3 decades than the Packers ...I do not think of One. In my Mind the greatest ball Hawk ever in Green Bay Is Tramon Williams .
We want the ball and we’re gonna score.
This team should have won a super bowl
Poor Hasselbeck, it's hard not to feel bad for him.
CodyHGaming he was a good guy, good QB too. Played well in this game except for the awful pick in OT.
Nope I felt nothing but joy and payback !
Nothing but great things to say about hasslebeck. He was a good qb and one of the nicest dudes. But he absolutely deserved to lose and take shit for the coin toss bravado lol at least it makes for great NFL history!
Should have kept his mouth shut
Naw if he would’ve scored his first words were gonna be”what I tell ya”
Al Harris is A living legend .
My main Man Al Harris. Excellent in coverage but didnt have the ball skills or he would have been a hall of famer. Still top 5 corner all time in Packer history. Always available, consistant and reliable. A corners corner. 6"1 190
Hasselbeck: we want the ball and we're gonna score! Al Harris has entered the chat room.
when hasselbeck though he could score... lol
Ahhhhhh...famous last words. 😁 I screamed so fucking loud on that pick-6 I lost my voice the next day. 😂 great memories.
Al Harris was clutch as f*ck!
Wonder if I still have my ticket from this game
Hassellback thought he was gonna throw the winning td pass and he did. Lol
We literally LOST because of KOREN ROBINSON dropping that TD.
You wonder what the Mighty Flynn would have done if Seattle had not drafted Wilson...
1perfectstrangerr lost his job to someone else
Damn... I miss grass.. Real football is played on real grass..
When you said "I miss grass", I misinterpreted. And then you mentioned football, and I said "Oh yeah, that's right!"
@D K E someone's salty
Favre was a very, very good QB but to me there was always something about him that was like sitting on a tack .
Go Pack Go!
Was there three commentators back then?? And joe buck with... Chris collensworth?? Wow interesting
I know right I definitely do not remember that at all lol
As well as that missed tackle in the backfield on 4th & 1
Back when we actually had a complete team
Lol far from it bud, Mike Sherman was horrible. He took over for a super bowl team and collapsed it, GB went 4-12 the following season and he was fired. Worst in franchise history.
9:34 - 9:35 What you came here for, ladies and gentlemen.
I spy fired coach Pederson
I miss my boy Darren Sharper
Stephen Sporman I am talking about him the football player. He was wrong for what he did
If you want to see him go to jail
Billie Carlock your mom must been 1 of the victims???
Sharper made as many spectacular misses as Buckley did back in his day. Starting from miss playing Terrell Owens in the playoff game against SF. If a big play or tackle was needed Sharper rarely delivered.
One of the hardest hitting safeties in the league 😂
