- The Saints, on the back of star QB Drew Brees, battle Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at Lambeau in a rematch of their previous season's matchup in Week 1. This would be the third ever meeting between Brees and Rodgers, as Brees threw for 446 and 3 touchdowns while Rodgers added 319 and 3 touchdowns of his own, with one interception. The Packers would win after fending off a ferocious comeback by Brees and the Saints, as Rodgers found Jordy Nelson for the winning score with less than 8 minutes to play and then found James Jones for the clinching first down on 3rd and 3.
I’m a die hard Packers fan but gosh darn do I respect Drew Brees as a QB. The man had a great game.
TehDK facts, he’s my 2nd favorite all time qb behind Rodgers. Dudes a legend.
Same brother. Go pack go.rodergers the goat.
Man our receiving core was nasty that year. Jennings, Driver, Jones, Nelson, Cobb, Finley...
@Brotato Chip he has no one for the fast couple of years now, just adams and about it
@Brotato Chip What did ANY of those WR's do when they left GB or when AR was out of the SLU...???
And our defence was the worst that year
Wasn’t this the year Finley dropped like 30% of the balls thrown his way?
It’s nasty this year to and we don’t even know it yet Adams,Alison,Mvs,St.brown, graham(will improve) SB champs
We’ve seen multiple Brady vs Manning AFC Championship games.
We need to see a Brees vs Rodgers NFC Championship game.
This year could be the year it happens
WyattBDV god I hope so then the winner vs Brady or mahomes 👀🔥
WyattBDV as a cowboys fan I’d have to agree, the packers and the saints look very strong this year the only teams that’d be in their way is the niners and the Seahawks
Coulda been next week
Hopefully 2020 playoffs
I don't know how Jones caught that ball at the end haha! Insane!
I remember this game, mainly due to it being the week after that robbery in Seattle...
and somehow the refs almost screwed them in this game too, LOL
Gemini Man no shit...... awful call
Was at this game. The atmosphere was absolutely electric. Such a great win to witness in person. The catch by Jones to seal it was unreal.
Jeff Triplette may be one of the worst refs in any sport.
2012 James Jones , Jennings, Nelson, Finley, ...
2020 Adams 🙄😞
Cobb too
Cobb was with that group as well. Best group of receivers I’ve ever saw man. That was great.
MVS, Lazard, St Brown, Lewis.. We also have Jones n Tonyan
@@jodilynn4853 MVS is very inconsistent, Tonyan is good I’ll agree, St.Brown isn’t anything special and Jones is a rb but also a helpful asset in the passing game but basically Rodgers only has Lazard Adams and tonyan
@@realwitdadrip1423 I was talking about people that can actually move the ball. I honestly dont give a shit that we only have a couple few wr's. The ones we have know what they're doing.
Sitting around a lot during the great 'Rona Depression of 2020, watching some of these clips. I dont even remember this receiving core being this talented, fast and fighting for yards or to get open cuz we got spoiled during this era. This team was talented! Rodgers and Cobb were so much faster LOL! I got so excited seeing Aaron Jones become explosive this past two years that i forgot that Starks looked just like him. Never remembered Finley being nasty after a catch and banging out 5 more yards cuz got use to watching Graham suck {for Packers, he looks good here LOL}. Not to mention actually trying and executing trick plays, fake punts ETC. Pack fan for life here but hate to say it, these were the days here 2010-2015 and we got spoiled. After this marked the start of management not paying any talent we had and letting them go, thinking we could draft more and we never got anything close to what we had.
amen brother
That’s why you have replay. how did they award Jimmy Graham a catch on that. How does the system break down so poorly?
Wow, a Neo in the matrix moment for James Jones. That's incredible
This is when Mike McCarthy was good
*Aaron Rodgers
📠📠📠
For all those who say the refs helped the packers this year-look back at this year...fail mary, refs trying to get the saints their first win of the season and many other moments.
Coltson was so underrated
One of my favorite games ever best qb dual I ever saw brees out played Rogers by little bit but both were great
How the hell does that call at around 4:20 or so stand? I want some of whatever the replay official was smoking and/or drinking.
I believe that the replacement officials were still officiating at this point of the 2012 season, explaining all of the terrible calls in this game.
But yeah that was one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen I remember just staring at the TV with my mouth wide open after it happened lol
Let's just be glad Jeff Triplette "retired".
can't wait to see Graham in Green and Gold
This aged very poorly
Ihaveacrushondannydevito _ aged worse than 2% milk
@@gavingriffith6554 he had his moments :/
I was at this game! Only time I got to see a real game at Lambeau, it was incredible.
Drew Brees threading the needle time and time again
R.I.P. Ced B.
Miss you, Jermichael
🤘🏾 Hook 'Em 4 life 🤘🏾
That pass breakup by Tramon around 5:30 is reminiscent of the interception by Malcolm Butler against the seahawks.
Man rodgers is special
I miss this old packet team
Bree’s arm was so much better back then
Yep nowadays he underthrows a lot
Thank you for the upload!!!!!!
the team made alot of horrible penalties that lost them the game and that's how Drew lost most big situation type games just like that
Totally forgot we had Cedric benson for that year
God damn Finley was a fucking monster. Had no clue he was like that. Graham not as aggressive but will be great red zone threat
9:07 how did Brees get that ball in there
seriously moore was draped all over
He's the goat thats how
Tyler Cochran he does that a lot!!! In 2018 and 2019 he fits it in perfectly
Miss this saints team
10:25 when the ragdoll physics breaks in Madden 😭
Refs were awful in this game
They're lucky they left Lambeau alive!
That one catch jimmy graham caught was not a catch clearly smh. Wow.
@@montraybrown9008 in today's NFL clearly was.
Daniel Cid no the dez Bryant catch was the same thing
Packers always pay the refs
Came to the dome the next year and got destroyed by brees
Everyone gets destroyed in the dome dude.
I know right!!!!! And still didn’t make the playoffs Dammmmm
Official Bully no that was two years later, in 2014
Emanuel Whitehead LoL we definitely made the playoffs in 2013
Came to the dome eight years later and got destroyed by Rodgers
*Jordy, Jennings, driver, Cobb, Jones*
Should of had atleast 2 more super bowls with that offense.
YourUserNameSucksx10 lol the offense wasn’t the issue
YourUserNameSucksx10 Rodgers is overrated
The first week the regular refs came back and damn did this try really hard to screw Green Bay again.
That catch tho
My brother was at this game.
how much did the saints pay off the refs for this game, seriously
Yeah congrats they called a holding penalty on a 43 yard go ahead field goal...
Bro there was more than 2 minutes left....
Yeah the refs still hate the saints can't you tell
They also got away with OPI that gave them a TD so suck it up
Kenny Domino not enough to call the OPI
nice game
What's that stat about Rodgers being 0 and whatever when trailing in the 4th??
They always lie on Rodgers but he is special
@@niners2162
Mfs just making up stats smh
When trailing against above .500 teams. Saints were 0-3 at this point.
When oh when will Joe and Troy learn that "all day for Rodgers" has just as much to do with #12 buying himself time as his offensive line does?
The shove wasn't called and McCarthy had to throw a challenge to review that throw and didn't see that he didn't have full possession. How infuriating.
Rodgers Neilson! Best combo ever! Besides the punches iron mike landed!
This was Sean Payton suspension season
Of course it was jeff triplette, he did that same shit when we played the lions last year
What was 22’s name? I totally forgot about that guy
Who’s here after brees got criticized for his flag comment and Rodgers got invited to the cookout
GB kept taking penalties on that field goal just to fuck with the kicker
That was against the saints
That was not Pass Interference on Greer that last play!!! That holding call on the FG was bullshit too. Ruined a great game smh
I was at this game
Holy shit I'm glad dom capers got fired.
The refs was on some bullshit 😂
4min 40 The ruling on the field stands????????????????????????? Cocaine is a hell of a drug
Such uninspired announcing. Listless.
holy shit Arod is the GOAT
Xó Drew
Why????
Xó Drew you see in the end the saint try to cause the packers to draw penalties on them lol.
I’m telling you I’ve been a packer/nfl football fan I was 8 2006 farve on his last leg playing extremely well for his age tho choking against the Giants nfc championship I knew we could’ve ended the patriots perfect season but the giants did I still believed Tom Brady was still the best qb in the league because his Resume overweighted that individual game but the year we lost to the cardinals in overtime I believed we could win the bowl our team was stacked aarod was coming to himself the future was new headlights bright watching number 12 dominating the qb position since 2010 I can honestly say he’s the best qb skill set of all times but Brady’s record will never be touched and I’m a true packers fan
Despite Brees having a winning record against him and outperforming him ever meeting, yea ok. lol
@@orlanzo2621 Since when is 2-2 a positive record? Brees won in 08, which was Rodgers first year starting. Brees 2nd victory came in 14; Rodgers pulled a hamstring with the score tied during the 3rd quarter and his performance was visibly affected for the rest of the game which led to a NO victory.
Lol Brett hundley
That sure as h*** wasn't their greatest game!
Those refs were definitely on the saints side
This was the first game after the "Fail Mary" horseshit and even the real referees tried to screw us that year. There were like 10 calls that went against us that shouldn't have. I remember also a fumble on a kickoff that was ruled down when he clearly wasn't but the refs had screwed up the other 2 challenges so we couldn't review it... just a calamity that year.
Sounds like every year being a Saints fan
@@NikoRavage Except those bad calls against the Saints usually happen in the playoffs lol
@@akbarshabazz-jenkins7847 right??? NFL is a joke bro
This game was bad because of these dumb calls by the refs. The touchdown should’ve been rejected and the Saints shouldn’t even get the first down, but glad that Green Bay won that game. That year in 2012, they got cheated
This video proves that the only reason the Packers win games is because of refs
Ha ha ha cry cry cry baby.
Umm yeah quite the opposite lol
Gb pass defense is awful
First .....
I think
Saints 0-4 😂
😆😆😆
Packers against saints and refs
9o
Packers fans are the worst
Tim How? Also that’s funny coming from a raiders fan
Paul Rosenberg all y’all do is suck off Rodgers, and whenever someone brings up Brett Favre y’all shit talk him! He brought you to two Super Bowls and won 1, and went to tons of playoff games. Rodgers has been to a super bowl and won it. He’s a great quarterback but goddamn. He hasn’t really accomplished what Favre did
Tim who’s talking bad on Favre.....besides you can’t say a whole fan base sucks come on man.
Are we not supposed to like our QB?? Some Packers fans are still bitter from the whole Favre "retirement" fiasco. Doesn't mean all Packers fans are the worst.....why are you even here lol??
Tim no raiders fans are the worst, made the playoffs once in the past decade and suddenly they're the best in the AFC west. yall the worst in the west.
Can't wait to face them again.
David Padour Hopefully it’s AGod vs Brees in the NFC title game. If both QBs get help from their defenses AGod will face Drew for the first time in the playoffs. At Lambeau or in the Saints dome it doesn’t matter ARod is carrying this team to a title this year hopefully vs Brady to end the 🐐 discussion once and for all. TB12 bout to get a 50 piece dropped on his defense in New England in Week 9 💯#AGOD THE 🐐
Not going to happen, if you face us in the playoffs WE are winning, not you guys. Drew will outperform Rodgers as usual and we'll win.
@@orlanzo2621 I mean... You guys lost to the Vikings who we beat both times...
@@abgo717 And the Saints came within two points of beating the 49ers and only lose because Cook got hurt, whereas the Packers got flat out embarrased both times they played the 49ers. Curbstomped.
@@orlanzo2621 Rodgers was a niners fan as a kid and always wanted to play for them... Also the niners only run and we have no run defense. Jimmy grappolo threw 6 times for 77 yards.
