Void Knight Skin - The Light Will Be Consumed! - TWP Custom Knight Showcase Created by LichOne

- Defeating Absolute Radiance spells only (other than the necessary nail hit at the end) with the Void Knight skin for Custom Knight created by LichOne#5951 of the White Palace group of custom knight artists. This video was also my submission for the Pale King skin that TWP is currently running.
This is a significant improvement over the spells only pantheon run with Absolute Radiance other than not noticing she transitioned to the climb phase and getting hit by a laser. You can also use Weaversong + Grubsong to gain soul but that combo is even slower.
From May 1st to June 1st the White Palace group is offering a Pale King custom knight sprite sheet upon video proof of completion of one of three challenges while using one of their other custom knight sprites. Details can be found in the pinned messages of the modding discussion channel on the HK Discord including links to the appropriate custom knight sprite sheets and who to contact for signing up. These challenges are:
1) Complete the Pantheon of the Master with all bindings while using the old nail and level 1 spells (Vengeful Spirit, Desolate Dive, and Howling Wraiths). There is a save file on the modding discussion channel for this challenge.
2) Successfully beat Double Vessel. The mod file is also on the modding discussion challenge to attempt.
3) Defeat Absolute Radiance using spells and charms and making no nail swings other than the one needed at the very end to win the fight.
I'll likely do some more videos showcasing their amazing custom knight sprites.

I like the skin, but I don't like how you turn white when using void spells or shade dashing, it looks weird and doesn't make sense. Also it'd be cool if when you attacked with your nail it would show you swinging a void tentacle or something.

so you revert to regular Knight if you have Sprintmaster on

@@aWetSaxephone He does take damage but he's using two charms to counter this. Hiveblood, which generates one hit of damage you've just taken, and Grubsong, which gives you soul every time you take damage.

A peculiar entity rumoured to roam the abyss being said to be one of the kings failure that never realized its container was destroyed and thus holds this shape

1: dream knight: little ghost, his spells, mask and soul are covered by dreams
2: noskling: just a little nosk with infected attacks

this is one of my fav custom knights, but the ui can sometimes be hard to read, so i set it to default
Same here, I appreciate the UI effort but needs a bit of work, love the skin though, a good idea would be to make a second version where dashing and using void spells doesn't make you white, I don't mind but maybe something to look at. Great video👍
A spell-only build is the wildest thing i’ve seen
Using the absolutely 10000 IQ strat: to avoid getting hit, *I will get hit.* (for one damage instead of 2 to get a few seconds of invincibility)

And if we were to activate inverted colors, the Void Knight would turn into Light Knight... And The Radiance into The Shade.

You can use the dream nail but timing a hit can be difficult and unreliable.
Kingsoul would also probably limit him in this fight, as the small amount of soul isn't worth 5 notches
Plus last I checked you couldn’t use Kingsoul when you have Void Heart.

It's so I gain soul from Grubsong with something that does one damage (instead of two damage from AR's attacks). Hiveblood heals back the damage so I can use spells only until the final attack, as per the challenge.

Check the modding discussion pins in the HK Discord (the video description should have a link) to get the modinstaller and the custom sprites you want to use. Install Custom Knight and follow the steps in the readme to set up the sprite sheet.

Cuz he's doing it thru the Hall of Gods. The ending comes after completing the Pantheon of Hallownest.

Why does he keep jumping off?
To gain soul via Grubsong. Since I can't use the nail I gain soul that way for spells and Hiveblood heals it back. I only take one mask of damage if I fall off the ledge (as opposed to AR's attacks which cause two masks of damage and would not be possible to win with this strategy).

Grubsong charm makes it so that every time they take damage they gain soul. Hiveblood makes sure that their health regenerates by itself over time.
To Get Soul And Getting Hit By The Radiance Deals Two Masks Of Damage So It's Better To Fall Of The Ledge
Kinda sucks that there are seveal frames of the dash animation left out untransformed.
And the HUD looks kinda ugly. Don't know why would it be whitened out like that, althought the void masks look decent.
This skin is distractingly bad, no offense to "lich one".
