Speed is fine just so long as tricky bits are normal speed or properly explained.
I'm a bit surprised by the new thing of joining halves then putting seats on wings! But if it works, it's fine. Nice vid. Keep them coming Yorkshire.
Totally agree
Love this type of format and an excellent build on the P40 you really make those 1/72 Aifix kits shine 👍
think i am going to stick with the faster video because its easier to edit and upto now had good comments about it
It looks great! Now I'm tempted to make another one...
cheers pal
Looks great other than why are the landing gear struts spread akimbo like a BF-109? They should be straight up and down.
may have spread due to weight and sitting it upright before fully drying
Excellent build ,I personally like the new format ,thanks for sharing
cheers pal and i think the new format is better as well
Awesome
thanks
You did a great job with this model. I also did this kit but the result is not very satisfying. Had a lot of putty and sanding.
Thanks
You may have just had a bad one that needed the extra putty
Love these videos buddy, your the Fred Dibnah of model building, keep up the great work,I have now decided to build some nice simple out of box builds myself, thank you.
cheers pal
good old fred was someone i loved to watch
i am a roofer but i couldnt do what he did when he went up them chimneys on old wooded ladders
Love this aircraft... nice lunchtime video ... thank you
your welcome
Looks fantastic.. Nice little kit.
Cheers pal
Great build, great video - will have to get myself one of these
cheers pal
When you apply the liquid glue down the seams, does it not leave "melt" marks down the joins?..
Not really unless you touch it
It's best to do small amounts
Nice build!
thanks
Faster video I prefer maté excellent 👍
cheers for letting me know and yea i agree the new format is better
cracking little job on that lad !!! easy spray job too !!!
Loved spraying it because it wasn't the usual having to mask and try and create camo patterns
@@yorkshiremanmodels yeah just ever so nice on occasions, just I think a lot of other modellers go all out to impress on fancy camo schemes , when sometimes the simplest schemes just work as in the case of your build , fantastic as I say , look forward to the next one young fella !! Shaun.
@@GhostRider247 cheers pal
Nah then me old cock! Liking the videos and the format. No farting about and good, honest reviews. Keep it going matey and greetings from Barnsley!
cheers pal
i was born in barnsley pal and lived there till i got married
That looks a great kit. Can I ask a question I am new to airbrushing and only use Vallejo model air through my cheap air brush as I can use water to clean it out well I have so far not put any gloss or flat varnish through it as I am unsure what to clean it out with. Is there a varnish that I can use that is good and I can clean my airbrush with water any advice much appreciated thanks
i use for gloss AK gauzy agent because it dries fast and the airbrush can be cleaned easily with water
for flat its got to be windsor newton flat varnish because its the best finish i have ever seen and the cost is very cheap as its available in 250ml bottles and will thin with water so it sprays nice and airbrush can be clean with water
also both of those varnishes can be painted and the gauzy is self leveling as well
Sorry I am a bit late replying thanks for answering my question. I have just got back into modelling after a long time not doing any but due to having a total breakdown and not being able to work for a while I have got back into the hobby again having never used a airbrush I just needed some advice thanks again for your time much appreciated all the best. Carl
