"Civilization rests on the principle that we treat our criminals better than they treated their victims, that we not stoop to their level. But you and I are outliers; we're not really a part of civilization. We're something... older." What a great fucking quote.

I always liked him and his friendship with scarface. That kinda loyality in mob is rare. Also his admiration for Carter was so pure. So was his admiration for harold. He had class and organization level beyond any villain the team ever encountered.
You do realize that he put a hit out on Carter and killed (via Anthony) the retired detective who was helping Carter piece together the backstory on Elias.
Elias - every word he spoke and his thought process were more like a philosopher , his deeds whether good or bad had a calm like the Buddha ..whoever wrote the character of Elias is Badass and deserves all the respect. Love and Respect from India
He was a great boss in terms of loyalty but also in understanding of people and relationships. His ability to buy anyone and control most people was amazing. He was well written.
The Machine wanted him to be saved. He got roles to play. He's a villain that make sense for us. He got visions for good things not just for destruction, power and money. One of the "frenemies" characters that i really like.

No, my friend is going to kill you. I'm just gonna watch. Meaning: Elias wanted the pleasure of seeing the fear wash over Simmons as Anthony chokes the life out of him. That is so utterly bad @$$
I still remember watching the series premiere at the time, good days. Enrico Colantoni did a amazing job on Flashpoint (2008) too, great actor! Thanks for the video, loved the editing!
Elias understood the game. Where the microphone people put all their small business on front street, flashy, flexing, and moronic. Elias was the shadow king. He could put anyone on the throne because the throne wasnt the position of power for him. It was the position that crosshairs fell upon. Thus he could live a normal life. Trying to better the kids he taughts lives. He wasnt a good man, but he was a respected man. I like him alot as a character.
Grande personaggio, grande interpretazione e anche ottimo il doppiaggio italiano. Alla fine ci si affeziona anche ad un uomo della malavita. Great character, great interpretation and also excellent Italian dubbing. In the end, we also become attached to a man from the underworld.
Año 2024 : recién ahora, por TNT, estoy viendo la temporada 5 de POI ...Habia llegado hasta la temporada 4 completa, en 2014 ( 10 años atrás ) ... Una serie MARAVILLOSA ... 👋👋👋👋👌🇦🇷
I don't know why but as I tried to watch the video, I got a lot of pictures problems and it wasn't watchable. Had to close the app 3 times until it was functional again. BUT THE AD'S WORKED PERFECTLY!!! THANK YOU RUclips. Now I don't wanna see the video anymore... (I do not blame the Channel/artist) To be Hornets guys, it look's like RUclips is FINISHED. They don't care to give some good performance anymore. But giving a 3 minute AD to an 30 seconds Clip
Wonderful editing, thanks!!
Thank you Vero ! :)

If I were a mob boss, definitely Elias would be my role model. He had class and intelligence.
He also wasn't a cruel leader, but the only time he was cruel, was when it came to killing people that did wrong to his friends.
But he let his friends die when they didnt have to. Like he could've asked for anthony to be let go before he gave them the boom code
It’s never too late to start working on your dreams mate…

"then why aren't you smiling" one of the most powerfull lines of the whole series

@_Bagginshield yeah he was very smart thats true. If not for less people on his side I am sure he would have won against that drug lord.
You do realize that he put a hit out on Carter and killed (via Anthony) the retired detective who was helping Carter piece together the backstory on Elias.
@@victorpradha9946 well that was need based. He needed carter to stop looking into hum so he put hit on her.
That wasn't personal. Keeping your cover is just important for the strategy.
You know a show was great when you grow to love one of the villains
wow ... true
Elias - every word he spoke and his thought process were more like a philosopher , his deeds whether good or bad had a calm like the Buddha ..whoever wrote the character of Elias is Badass and deserves all the respect. Love and Respect from India
Elias was such a damned good character. His first episode was a masterpiece.
Finally, someone who creates a compilation of great scenes and doesn't bury all of the amazing dialog under annoying music.
He was a great boss in terms of loyalty but also in understanding of people and relationships. His ability to buy anyone and control most people was amazing. He was well written.
Elias was an honorable man he respected loyalty, and above all honorability something that is none existing today
the best series in its genre,i still cant believe they canceled it i hope the ending was a simulation and the SHAW will be back someday
this show has very open ending 💔 is sad to be ended
Enrico was brilliant in the Simmons death scene. What phenomenal acting.
Elias was awesome.. loved that scene from Devil's Share. Thx for the vid. I miss this show.
I love this series so sad they cancelled it after 5 seasons it’s still as good today as the day i first watched it 🙏
What a tribute to Elias and Anthony! Your videos are always so week edited and tasteful!
comeback to this ever so often, freaking loved the Elias storyline, too freaking awesome. I really really liked this show.l

And I keep looking at Elias and thinking Veronica Mars' dad!
yo boy its 2021
and the great ones kept winning and winning. Until their death. In which they then kept winning, in tje fields of Folkvangr.
A mobster with a code! This show became legendary for me after introducing Root & Elias.
Elias was an amazing charachter with an amazing arc
How you got me cutting onions for Elias. Man this show is so good great video
As much as I love John and Harold I'd still have to say that Elias is my favorite character on the show.
LONG LIVE ELIAS/SCARFACE AUGUST 2019
That scene where he kills Simons is glorious

We need one with Bear, the real star of the show lol
Cold calculating+ ruthless

My friend you deserve so much views
this brings back time.
Kind of show and cast that makes me wanna go back in time and re-play it.
The best mob bosses.
In tv series it's Elias and for the novel it's Michael Moretti from Rage of Angels.
Wait, is there a POI novel?
Rage of Angels is a novel by Sidney Sheldon. Not related to Person of Interest.
@@AegisNova Read my comment properly once again
I loved the way that Enrico Colantoni moved from humour to sub-arctic coldness in one scene

this is very nice. somewhere out there, a team machine group is most likely taking orders from this wonderful yet ruthless older being
Best memories with David, Enrico and Jim in October 2014.
beautifully made, well done
Elias reminds me of Moriatty! The Criminal MASTERMIND in the Sherlock Holmes saga ! Cool calm and totally Anonymous 😎
Nice tribute for awesome duo ^_^
Love this show, love this song - this is a perfect marriage of two things I've adored for years :)

Vini Vidi Vici
Maravilloso felicitaciones
Great show, great vid.
This scene 2:30 gets me each time
That Speech by Elias was calculated and delivered to perfection
His speech is one of my favorite things just before this line
We all talk max about 2 poastacia Elajas and John, but the truth is that everyone played his role here masterfully
Fantastic Video.
Can you make a Video about John Reese and Iris?
Maybe for the future ;)
THE MAN THE LEGEND.
The last scene in this really makes me think to his quote when he avenges her death.
This is wonderful.
Carl Elias : el Vito Corleone del Siglo XXI ... 👍👍👍🇦🇷
Raymond Reddington and Dembe
Carl Elias and Anthony
Are the great characters ever written in series history
Elias is the best character.
Anthony is badass
What a funny old world
I presume that Carl Elias and Gustavo Fring would have the perfect rivalry if they were from the same universe.
Where is the other Anthony tribute? I cannot find it, was great
Well done !
😅 insuperable
Veronica Mars’ father has an amazing acting range
If Season 5 was a full 22/3 episodes, I think Elias et al would have gotten better send offs.
Elias e tds se vinga , da morte da carter, era uma detetive , maravilhosa ❤
LOVED carter elias together
Quando verranno ritrasmesse le puntate di Personal of intesetz
Bellissima serie
only have 1 criticism, simmons death clip should have been at the end, after carter rescued Elias
There is a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out…
AWESOME!
Awesome
What happened to the Anthony Scarface tribute, did it get taken down? Was amazing.
That "7" took a lot of toll
Elias was Raymond Reddington before there was a Raymond Reddington.
Can anyone tell me the name of the song used in the last part?
All My Tears by Emmy Lou Harris
Well done
what the song at the end
peaky blinders all my tears
Anthony morre por Elias
Triste cena, Elias se vinga ,do Dominique,
