Ill admit that the store page for Balatro failed to grab me. It wasnt until i saw a 1 hr lets play that i finally understood what this game was and why it was so good. This is one of those types of games that mere screenshots and game highlights cannot hope to capture. You need to see everything together in motion to let it all sink in. Kind of like a video game pizza.
There should be a term like Flanderization, but like Fortnification, to describe the homogenization of Lego sets into just recognizable brands. All of Hollywood already is a garbage pile of endless remakes, and every year there are more and more video game remakes too, but Fortnification should really mean the loss of ones identity and replacing it with other brands. Lego doesnt need Marvel, just as Magic the Gathering definitely doesn't need Marvel
I too begrudgingly preparedly to contrarily try Belatro, to quickly start to love it. Nice vid!
and the multiplayer mod makes it even more addicting probably the most fun i've had in ages
yoo what?? multiplayer mod? send the link 🥺
second that, would love a link
