I feel like Victor IS the entity keeping everyone there but even he isn't aware of it. The creatures, the boy in white and the lighthouse may be from his mother's "stories". I think Victor was originally from here, and the original massacre is what broke him, leading to the manifestation of the town that no one can leave; specifically so he can find his sister. The only piece that doesn't fit is his sister, Eloise. I think she may have decided to hide in one of the trees when she fled the cellar, but Victor never found her. It’s been a min since I’ve seen season 1 but if I recall Boyd’s wife was also a marine. And the dog that keeps guiding him is a German Shepard a classic military police dog. Almost feels as if the dog is a spirit guide perhaps his wife ? The visions he has of his wife are clearly a malevolent spirit messing with him. Then comes the visions of the dead / missing kids. Do you think the monsters that come out at night were once towns folk whos kids were taken to the tower ? The autopsy of Smiley makes it seem like he was once human so it would stand to reason maybe he was just like one of the towns folk before he too was cursed. Speaking of the tower … it keeps being referred to as a tower but it’s a light house this has to provide some significance a light house has a purpose to guide things from danger . And when what’s her face was pushed form the window she was sent to what seems to be back to reality or in other words away from danger. The light house is also high above all the trees …. And trees play a significant role in this show often being known to be the source of teleportation. In fact when the characters enter the town it’s because of a tree maybe even the source of them getting to town is this teleportation tree. So by going to the light house they are above all of the trees .
As far as the dogs go, I hate to say it, but there are 3 different dogs. The dog has 3 heads. They're old curs. Cerberus, that is. They're friendly enough to everyone because they're all dead in the underworld. But if a human sees them, they'd be be more ferocious. Perhaps they'll be granted a time hop back to the point before they die if they're on the winning side. But they are dead, or possibly dying. This could all be playing out in the moment right before death. Perhaps it's not their final destination. As for Tabitha and Jim, they probably were close to discovering a way out. And Cerberus wasn't about to let them leave prematurely.
I tried to explain this show to a friend as I think she’ll like it. I gave up in the end, as I was beginning to confuse myself... the more questions she asked 😂. I might rewatch it with her from Season 1, to refresh my memory before the final season airs. But I’m one of them annoying people who say, “Oh I remember this bit, d’you wanna know what happens next”. 😬😂✌🏻
Who says it’s not the nurse monster. Jade could’ve rocked up to help, and it could explain why victor was standoffish behind the post because the monsters body is in the barrow
its possible that the dogs were aggressive because they wanted to warn them to not go into the faraway tree. We know that some faraway trees lead you to bad places.
I The Brundles is a way to leave, I think. If you research what Brundles are, they are part of a door hinge, or threshold. In otherwords, part of a doorway or a gateway. Perhaps there is a cave that can be accessed under water (Elgin's ghost/dream lady was trying to tell him to go under water), or maybe you need to wait for a good Spring rain that floods the place, taking you out, or bringing you in on boats. Maybe both. When Boyd was in the well (wells like to grant knowledge in mythology and folklore), he had a vision of his son who said "Dad, you said we were going out on the boat." Boyd didn't get it, at the time though. There was also the cave painting that showed the boats, too. Little boats, like canoe size. Maybe that's why trees keep getting ripped out. Idk.
Not miserable but definitely people dealing with transitions in life. Remember Christie was engaged and her partner wasn’t an addict again till she disappeared. And it wasn’t till the Megan girl died that the Mathew’s came into the town.
a hint on how tv writing works, especially on a show like this. it's all misdirection. if someone expresses concern the baby wont be human, the show will subvert that expectation. whatever happens will probably be the least expected thing, which makes speculation about what will happen impossible on a show like this by the script. if you want insight into what might happen i suggest going to the literary and filmic refrences the writers are drawing from. for example Bacon as rhe inspiration for the Monsters and the showrunners coming from lost. it's safe to say the show will not go where lost went. also consider the Phantasm movies where inhuman zombie like creatures bleed yellow. Also there are several similarities with the novel House of Leaves.
I know this isnt FROM related, but have you seen that Apple have finally dropped the first tiny bit of footage and a still from Severance and Silo season 2?

She IS Victor’s sister; she originally made it out via the lighthouse in 1978 and forgot everything from amnesia, probably from the fall as we see that she has a fair amount of minor injuries in the hospital after she was found back in the real world. The first time, when she was a child, she could have struck her head and lost her memory. She could have then been put into an orphanage, given a new name because she can’t remember her true name, and then grows up into womanhood having no memory of the horror that she escaped from in ‘78. Of course, when she looks out of her hospital room window that is not her face in the reflection, so who the crap knows!
I’m thinking that the screaming is Boyd’s dead wife being turned into one of the creatures, although it could be Fatima. But it seems like the people who are killed in Fromville become the creatures themselves, and even Boyd would break at least some by being forced to watch his wife resurrected by the Lovecraftian monster that rules Fromville and then forcibly turned into one of the things. I’m also pretty sure that some sort of ritual sacrifice involving children is what is keeping Cthulhu mostly asleep and confined to the area rather than it being able to affect the entire world of reality. The crazy granny who looks a lot like the first creature seen in the very first episode may be either its priestess or perhaps an avatar that it uses. It seems like when the roots of the tree merge, like they did last in my birth year of 1978, the creatures are permitted to slaughter all of the residents after perhaps picking seven more children to take part in the ritual. And then it starts all over again, possibly with another young child becoming the next child and only survivor much like Victor was in 1978. The only thing that I am certain of is that there is a Cthulhu or Nyarlathotep-type cosmic monster is what powers everything in Fromville, from the electricity that has no known power source to keeping the creatures in check by making them walk slowly and refusing to allow them to enter buildings in which there is a talisman - at least until the roots merge and it sends the creatures out in the daytime to kill everyone, talisman be damned.
I literally just finished season 2 about 10 minutes ago and I believe that the dogs ain't shitt! All they ever do is lead him away when ever he's getting too close to something.
Had a very wild theory about this series: everyone’s in a coma after some accident (car crash, etc), and these people living in this town are their subconciouses. The monsters are either their existing health ailments/ diseases. And every time one is victimized by these monsters, in the real world, their earthly body succumbs to death. They die ( from complications of being in a long-standing coma). If one survives the attack by these monsters, they wake up, just like Tabitha (the end of season 2).
Okay, but the nurse literally tells her that she was found on the side of the road three days ago and not that she had just awoken from a coma. And why would her husband and both children also be in comas on the verge of death? It doesn’t make sense and it’s not supposed to. The show is very much built from the clay and bricks of the universe created by Howard Phillips Lovecraft, and they’ll keep people guessing until the last episodes, and even then it probably won’t be explained all that well.
You said that you can get to Fromville from anywhere, but that's not the case. You can get to it from anywhere in USA. There are no foreginers there. So either this has to do with nature of that place, or (and more likely tbh) it's just plot hole, like in many other films/series
Idk why people keep thinking that whoever is in that wheelbarrow must be who was screaming in the barn. The two scenes are not inherently directly connected just because they’re in a teaser next to each other. It could be edited that way as a red herring, which is something that this show would totally do. On top to of that, that’s absolutely not a woman’s foot poking out from the tarp. It’s way too wide to belong to 99% of the women in Fromville and the shoe on the other foot does not match the style of most of them either, especially Fatima. I truly believe that whoever is screaming in the barn is not who is in that wheelbarrow. I think the teaser is a red herring.
Its Tabithas body in the wheelbarrow. Its another way to break the townsfolk. She managed to "escape" or ascend, just without her body. Or its "her" body, but its not really -shapeshifter? Dummy body trojan horse? 🤷♀️
So my girlfriend had me just watch this show. First run through to me, seems like they're stuck in Pandoras Box or another analog of it. Elpis or the equivalent of this story is hanging out there too. The tower is Elpis basically. I have some villians in mind (a Trivia type). It's very Slavic in some aspects, though it is very very very significantly an American issue. We have some indigenous traditions of fear of course. The monsters may be a type of monster that gets turned after they eat human flesh. My leading and maybe strongest theory is the bile needs to be ingested for knowledge. Its a device without a purpose. I kinda hate the show. I hate when writers keep characters completely self-aware of what's happening around them for plot. It's lazy. Seems like when folks get visions about killing kids, a townhall meeting could be held. Be like, anyone else seeing shit. What are your thoughts on this or that. Hey, let's get together after breakfast every more and talk about new shit we learned, shit ya wanna test. You know, freaking talk. The main dude was a military dude. When i was in, we tried this thing called communication. Made old Bco 1/327inf a fairly good light infantry unit back in my day. Still is i hear. Anyway, that's my rant.
2 things - 1) Sara and Boyd had a conversation about her strength in an earlier episode - it was mostly around her thinking she wasn't strong enough for this but she has that Wizard of Oz vibe where she actually was very strong but just didn't see it so that you are so strong comment could be to Sara 2) If this is a supernatural place unconnected to our world, it is terrible writing as every pin on the map unless I am missing something is all in the U.S. What supernatural entity cares about international borders?
I really really hope it’s not Fatima but to be fair they are in a barn and it looks like they’re gonna make the baby’s birth really terrible. Fuck this show dude DANG

i think tabitha is the body in the cart, stay with me, she wears white shoes, and it explains why victor is watching with that expression on his face, it reminds him of what happened to his mom, as to why her body is in fromvillle and we see shes in a hospital im not sure, but my guesses are that its a fake body created to hide the fact she made it out or its how fromville works, people arent in their real bodies theyre controlling puppets or avatars in the image of their body and when they die they go back to their real body in the real world. also i dont think they ever show the outside in the final ep. they show ethans reaction to it and the lack of cicadas could be a red herring as to why he says "does this mean its over" he could be reacting to the instant change in weather
id also like to add to the whole puppet thing, there could be pre requisites on how to go back to your og body , like not being killed by the monsters, or not commiting suicide etc. if you break any of them your soul gets trapped in fromville

Fromville only takes people from the continental United States. Not Mexico or Canada or Alaska or Hawaii.
Did you see the severance season 2 teaser?
Yup! Video coming soon
New sub is and you got me ❤your tone of voice the music and the theories I’m intrigued
Has anyone considered that they killed another monster and that is who the body belongs too ?
Great voice, well thought, super well edited. Subbed 🤙🏽
Victor is a hybrid and can’t remember and is why they don’t hurt him. Timeloop 16:00
Has anyone watched Alice in Borderland? I have a sneaking suspicion that the ending of From will be something like that ending
Sarah wore tennis shoes. Not sure if Fatima did.
I think that's Sara screaming. I think she's the one that dies or someone be from the ambulance
It's not very Netflix and chill...
Idk.
Thanks for this! Enjoyed!
I think the voice is Hannah. Sounds just like her.
Not miserable but definitely people dealing with transitions in life. Remember Christie was engaged and her partner wasn’t an addict again till she disappeared. And it wasn’t till the Megan girl died that the Mathew’s came into the town.
The screams are his wife
3:40 I hope this isn't a loop where Boyd ends being Martin like losing his memory to not remember his past self
a hint on how tv writing works, especially on a show like this. it's all misdirection. if someone expresses concern the baby wont be human, the show will subvert that expectation. whatever happens will probably be the least expected thing, which makes speculation about what will happen impossible on a show like this by the script. if you want insight into what might happen i suggest going to the literary and filmic refrences the writers are drawing from. for example Bacon as rhe inspiration for the Monsters and the showrunners coming from lost. it's safe to say the show will not go where lost went. also consider the Phantasm movies where inhuman zombie like creatures bleed yellow. Also there are several similarities with the novel House of Leaves.
Imagine if mari was there before kristi because she was already losing it and she only been there about 4-5 days
whats up with the drawing of the forest in a snowglobe? 12:46
I know this isnt FROM related, but have you seen that Apple have finally dropped the first tiny bit of footage and a still from Severance and Silo season 2?
I did! I'm going to talk about it in the next video.
@@nautilusfilesAmazing dude..I'm also going to sign up and become a patreon sponsor at the end of this month dude. I really want to support smaller channels like yours that should have way more subs. You're also my absolute go to for any severance/silo videos ❤
I think it's Sara screaming. It sounds the same as when shes screaming when she hears the voices.
It seems like the game is trying to put more stressors on the From residents from lack of food, to winter weather.
Are you going to be breaking down the show "the changeling " very interesting stuff. Maybe worthy of a deep dive.
Started The Changeling but haven't finished it yet. So far, I like what I see, so that could happen.
@nautilusfiles Nice. It's a decent watch. Looking forward to those dives.
It's Sara
I think Boyd and who I think is Sarah get caught because it’s winter and there’s less sun out in the winter than summer
I think Tabitha is going to find Victor's sister......I bet she got out.
People have theorized that Tabitha has just woken up to another level of "From," like a different layer of hell.
@@EatTheMarxiststabitha is not victors sister
Its sounds like sarah because he wasnt really buggin out
I’m thinking that the screaming is Boyd’s dead wife being turned into one of the creatures, although it could be Fatima.
I feel bad for Eljin they seem to have a certain way of treating him, they definitely like to toy with him and single him out for some reason.
Yes, not literally anywhere. The point being it is not physically connected to our space in any conventional sense.
The blood on his shirt spells KT
The bare foot looks like a child’s foot to me; it looks too small to be a man so if it’s not a woman under there then it’s a kid.
Its Tabithas body in the wheelbarrow. Its another way to break the townsfolk. She managed to "escape" or ascend, just without her body. Or its "her" body, but its not really -shapeshifter? Dummy body trojan horse?
🤷♀️
I think it’s Mari that gets offed first
Psychological media like this suck ass becasue I'll be analyzing every fart and still get nothing
edit: don't get me wrong I'm eager for season 3
I forgot what happened I need a recap 😂
I don't think Fatima is being tortured I think it's Sarah
What supernatural entity cares about international borders?
that definitely sounds like Fatima, and I dont think his speech indicates labor either.
Maybe the 'monsters' tear her up and kill the baby or something
Sounded like Sarah, but could be the daughter
I think it was Sarah was killed
Where’s Walt? Where’s my som
3:08 I heard "that's what she said" cause I was watchin in 1.5x lol (miss you Michael).
9:00 Hungry again xd?
Season 3 finna be a banger !!!
What the hell is “finna”? Is that Dutch? Sure isn’t English.
@@EatTheMarxists go look it up with your dumbass 🤣🤣🤣
I really really hope it’s not Fatima but to be fair they are in a barn and it looks like they’re gonna make the baby’s birth really terrible. Fuck this show dude DANG
6kids nightmare manifests into reality
6:19 I think its his son
Break me simpel familie girl screaming misleading i love this serie 😂 same makers from lost no Engels of Gods the made the mestake in lost ending so no Engels ore god aliens i think the date s are when the kidnapping people 😅
No escaping now way out zero think
I hope i am roung
dont care about answers.. just want to know how these people have every kind of food beverage packed foods, clean clothes all the year around.. that japanese lady keeps cooking food in plenty as if it wont exhaust anytime soon.. and nobody is shown farming or breeding animals or going anywhere for packaged foods
From all the people who arrived to fromville, the canned peaches came from a old truck, they have a greenhouse where they were growing food, I'm not sure where the animals came from, but they had a farm, with cows, horses, goats, and chicken's!!
why dogs domt age in this series…….""?
The show has way too much talking and drama but, interested in seeing what happens in the 3rd season. I think Tabitha is Victor's sister that made it out back then
The writing on this show is a clusterfuck of nothingness. S2 was such a waste
This is hilarious.. 2 seasons in and ppl still tryna make theories, you would think most people would had figured out its all nonsense by now..From will end and we will never get "answers", got fooled twice already, not gonna fall for it again. Ill just enjoy the journey, but I already accepted the fact I will be dissapointed.
If you're referring to Lost, we did get answers to pretty much everything. Maybe watch it again.
@@thirdeye42012yeah I hate when people get all pissy about lost when it cleared everything up in the end
i think tabitha is the body in the cart, stay with me, she wears white shoes, and it explains why victor is watching with that expression on his face, it reminds him of what happened to his mom, as to why her body is in fromvillle and we see shes in a hospital im not sure, but my guesses are that its a fake body created to hide the fact she made it out or its how fromville works, people arent in their real bodies theyre controlling puppets or avatars in the image of their body and when they die they go back to their real body in the real world. also i dont think they ever show the outside in the final ep. they show ethans reaction to it and the lack of cicadas could be a red herring as to why he says "does this mean its over" he could be reacting to the instant change in weather
id also like to add to the whole puppet thing, there could be pre requisites on how to go back to your og body , like not being killed by the monsters, or not commiting suicide etc. if you break any of them your soul gets trapped in fromville
Yes the body could be Tabitha, see how victor gets scared when they roll in ??
this is goin to happen ig
@@WaitWhattttttt I checked the last episode, it very much looks like reggie's body, the one who Boyd kills in self defense.
