Not even Victor really knows what Victor knows, heh. The actor who plays Victor has done some phenomenal interviews where he has successfully charmed us viewers while keeping all of his secrets.
I think a reason Victor doesnt want to leave is because there is nothing outside of Fromville for him. No family to go to. Nothing.
He still can got sister alive . We saw His mother telling him stay till morning with sister , and she run , but His sister too. Later victor said she found His mom dead near the tree but wasnt there mentioned His sister. So i guess she made it to the tree and His mom sacrificed herself for that . She probably living . But its just my guess
@@janbrundza9173I think Tabitha is going to find Eloise. Victor gave Tabitha the lunchbox before he left, and I think Eloise will see her in the real world and they will come together somehow.

Victor draws what he's actually seen- and that's BAD news for everyone else!
There's a drawing of a giant spider, different kids of monsters to the ones we've already seen and, most distressing, the town as a big terrarium in a bottle! We even see the monster tunnels in that one!
I think Victor was removed from this little experiment during a reset and it broke his mind- causing him to block out much of his own past to deal with the trauma.

Victor's mind is not broken, he never grew up. He is still 8 years old in his head. An 8 year old with 40 years of savagery, cruelty and mindgames as an education. There is no school in fromville. He saw his mother die, he saw generations of surrogate parents die. He could not evolve. He adapted to this horrific lifestyle but did not evolve. Considering the shit he went through he is surprisingly stable and rational. His mind is not broken. It is stuck
@@juleswoodbury58 yes he's been repeatedly traumatized for most of his life. I'm actually really impressed he's in the mental state that he's in. I hope he finds peace.

no one talks about boyd and sara . when they saw the tower light. they tried reaching it but the boy in white said "they are angry get in the tree". the tower house is they way out for sure and the kids lead you out

@@randalleighty-nine675 I think there's a reason the town chose Jade specifically to carry the burdening information. Despite him being annoying and brushing everything off in the beginning, it's his curiosity and exploration which eventually triggered the viral imagery. Sure, it could have been anyone else that saw the first "root cross" vision, but that fact that it is Jade, the computer/software engineer/programmer (not entirely sure what his job was), makes it especially worth considering in terms of theories.
Fking love him. Sure he was a bit annoying at first but i just find him amazing now
I think the whole town moves that's why they can't find the exists either coz they're always moving. And time is funny so things move at different paces, like how people's very serious injuries heal so fast and Jade seems like he's aging faster than anyone
I love the lost vibes and not really knowing what’s going on. I find it refreshing to find a show that doesn’t spoon feed you every single answer. I hope some/a lot of answers get answered.
Victor mentions multiple time in the series that his mother told him they were going home, we also see it in the flashback to the night she died
I believe she got trapped in Fromville and gave birth to Victor and Eloise there. That's why Victor has never known any other home
Or maybe because he’s spent most of his life in Fromvile, so now that is his home
@@bernardsoul5186 But again, he supposedly draws what he sees, and one of his drawings is of a car stopped at the fallen tree with the crows overhead, so he apparently saw that (which he wouldn't have if he was born after).
@@derekfnord who says he didn't *see* any of the other 100+ cars that got stuck behind the tree? We know he walks through the woods a lot
Maybe she didn't die but she managed to get there and escape from from world with no way back again.
Got some idea on the theories :
- Victor wasn't born there, the drawing he did of the red car blocked by the trees is "a proof" of that as he draw only stuff that he sees. That red car is their car where he put the painful drawings in.
- Victor doesn't want to leave there because he has nothing left outside the from world... No families, no skill may it be social or technical. He can live in Fromville because he basically grew up there.
- The dude/monster that asked if she recognized him looks quite similar to her or at least have the same kind of face. He might be a representation of thomas, her brother that died when he was some months old, I thought at first that he was one of her friend when she was very little but he looks way too similar to her.
September 22nd is the 20th anniversary of Lost, good date for a release!

If anyone has recommendations to more shows like this *please* let me know! - Because this is the first show in a long time where I haven’t been able to predict the plot. I have no idea where the story is going & what the mystery is.
lol not trying to sound conceited; but just have been able to accurately predict what’s going to happen in most shows & movies (especially lately). So it’s really fun being completely dumbfounded. Can’t wait for the third season.

I would recommend Constellation, fantastic puzzle, but they’ve just cancelled it… so no second season unless Netflix scoops it up. So interesting and intelligent!

Viktor is defiently intricately connected to Fromville. And the entities defiently do not like kids being present in Fromville. It is like they fear them.
Kids have more wild imaginations? Something that could potentially be threatening to the world?

i think he created the whole city himself. and CLosed it with very weird "doors" so that sometimes ppl can escape from monsters.. and THAT time Tabitha escaped VIctor's subliminal predicted.. she would bring his Father to him :)

When Victor doesn’t pay much attention or doesn’t react well to people talking about going home i think one obvious reason is because he sees from vile as his home. I mean he was like 10 when he got there (if he got there like how everyone else did) and he’s now 40-50. So he’s actually spent most of his life in Fromvile, that is his home now. He even says to Tabitha that this was his home.
7:14 or it could be that he draw it down because that's how everyone got into town, ever since the curse awakens. I think Victor is from Fromville itself, imo.

5:00 I always thought Victor was from Fromville. Like, for me it was a given. This is the first time that I hear it as a theory. 😵 Like when Jade asks him "don't you wanna go home?" Victor IS HOME so he never answers.
When the monster said Julie don't you recognize me? Makes me think it's her dead baby brother but older now, like there has been a time lapse maybe.

I'm pretty late to the whole "From" series, so I just started watching it about a month ago. Having said that, I like your theory...it makes sense.

I cant say Victor was born there but I think he lived there BEFORE the town became the vehicle for time travel into the past.
I feel like he doesnt wanna leave simply because that place is all he knows. Its his home unfortunately hes been there sooo long once he leaves he may feel like theres nothing for him. He would virtually be a nobody and homeless
EXACTLY, i think that’s the most obvious reason. He’s been there most his life so now he views the place as home

The series Started it like Victor is a VERY little character.. has little influence on what happens. But i really started to think that maybe he has supernatural powers.. and he wrote a whole book of Happenings... then it happens without He knowing he is the "governor of the story". he knows interesting stuff okay... he knew the Community needs 6 grave and after dat many ppl died ( 8 as i remember) but he didnt finish digging! he knew how to escape the Monsters exactly.. and had brilliant idea that They can go trough The tunnels cuz THEY SLEEP in middle of daylight... U know what happening there.. its What Happened in Wandavision Victor is some kind of Wizard he literally wrote a book of the story before he "got lost" (maybe he wanted to escape reality where he has his mental problems, and avoid people, and created this world just like Wanda) and he was drawing those stuff as a kid... like 40 years ago, really before them happening. what if he is the creator?
* and those weak points of that City... i mean That woman get escaped WHO CAME BACK WITH HIS OWN DAD! :D like... guys... isnt this weird? in deep down in his Brain somehow predicted who would choose to go to his father to get more info, and then he choose That Mom.. come on. And what a Miracle She came back to that Tree on the road. Weak points of the city are the meaning of weak points of his own Creation so that he will never be there alone. Victor is the key.. and People need to find this out.. and find out ho to make Victor to CLose this.. Maybe if they kill him this would end.
there are 2 big Questions here to make more proof to my theory.
1. Is Victor Arachnophobic? (lots of stuff starts with spiders WHEN OTHERS FIND OUT SOMETHING.. some kind of defense to save his little Mind world)
2. what happens if Victor meets these monsters?? we never see that.. maybe they cant hurt him, dont bother him because they are the Manifestation of his brain too. and the reason They are pretty much human like.. and Spiderlike a little too, is because He scared of other people!
the Season 3 gave waaay to much stuff to believe in this theory.
Victor is like a [risioner who has had a long sentence. He's become institutionalized. He has a place to sleep, food to eat, and as long as he follows the rules he has nothing to fear. If he were to escape he would not know how to function in the real world and would most likely try and find a way back to Fromville.
Your breakdown videos are the best I've seen I don't know if it's the cool calm voice or the logic and intelligence you display or both. keep it up man you're good at what you do!

What's the logic behind this though? Isn't it a tactic for the monsters to look and sound familiar, just to then bait people into being sliced?
@@Rocksidion I realize this is a tenuous thing, but her expression in that exchange looks like she feels like she should recognize him, and that he seems very familiar, but somehow she just can't place him. That "you seem familiar but I can't put my finger on why" feeling seems like it could be explained if he's meant to be Thomas-but-older. She sees a familial resemblance even though she's never actually seen him as anything but an infant.
@@derekfnord I can kind of see what you mean. However, to me, it seems like the monsters have a siren-like ability to lure their victims in and Julie may have been "hypnotized," so to speak.The scene where Father Katri is tricked by a monster's voice when it says his name especially comes to mind. The voice sounded familiar to him (maybe even resembling Sara's voice) and it was enough to get him killed. Julie may have been a few steps away from meeting a similar demise if it hadn't been for whoever pulled her inside the house.
However, I don't completely discount the idea that each monster could be a part of a deeper lore and potentially reveal more meaning to the story. It is still an interesting thought for sure.
Yeah I gotta know how a kid survived by himself there for so long. Was the boy in white helping him?
I think a large part of it is that as a young child, he was protected by the "boy" in white, but over the years, as he searched and searched for a way out (I believe you can only leave if you are sent out by the "*boy* in white) and never found it he lost hope and steadily the monsters and creatures lost interest in him as much

Answer me if monsters wait before eating everyone worrying if other humans come or not and in one time everyone died and talismans were not discovered as they were discovered by Boyd then how did Victor survive from his young age to being an old guy without protection or talismans?
According to me Victor could be the answer to escaping fromville as we always saw him worrying about the trees and even said that the trees are changing and was worried and his prediction was right as in the trailer we saw snow which changes the weather to snowy and also the trees so is victor right?
