If you want you could visit both factories if you buy AMG one or a student. Also maybe you are new or not but some teams like Mercedes have a policy that a certain chassis can't do more than x amount of races because it is too big of vulnerability, aged chassis degrade in safety and it's too big of vulnerability it only takes a hair line crack for things to go terribly wrong@@MintedWhim727
100%. I didn't expect Lewis would be that interested in driving his old cars, but it's good to see that he enjoyed it. I have always missed the flat bottom cars. They were lighter and more fun to drive. I didn't agree with them making the cars so much bigger in 2017, and I thought making the wings even bigger in 2019 was another step in the wrong direction. But I admit, that era was pretty special.

the 2022 regulations were supposed to come into effect in 2021, however they were delayed as teams weren't as financially stable due to the shortened 2020 calendar, as such, the FIA implemented a temporary stop-gap set of rules in 2021 where all teams would run their 2020 cars but modified to comply with the temporary regulations, the regulations removed downforce from the cars and made following slightly less of a burden but not all cars reacted to the modifications the same, all cars got generally slower, and Merc did not carry over it's dominant speed from 2020, partly due to how the W11 reacted the modifications and partly because Honda had further developed their engine to match Mercedes
I love the fact that despite livery & sponsor changes, Mercedes won't convert their predecessor cars livery into the current one, unlike the bullz where they just rip apart those beautiful purple black gradation livery that i really adore to see more often

They have, both W12 and W13 have both been run with the W15 livery. But admittedly the W15 livery is brilliant and looked good on the earlier cars.
