I hope this movie gets a continuation I’d love to see this universe’s version of Cyborg, Flash, Aqauman, Green Lantern & Shazam.
Absolutely agree! I would’ve loved to see how all those heroes would look like in the Gods and Monsters world
We have already seen there versions of Green lantern and Mary Marvel who would probably take the spot of Shazam. I like the idea of the flash in this universe being either the father of eobart thawn or Eobart Thawn but as kind of a good guy since the flash didn’t exist so he didn’t go evil. Aquaman as mentioned in this I like the idea of Aquaman being black manta and in this universe he conquered Atlantis as it didn’t have aquaman to protect it and now rules it. Finally Cyborg, I like the idea that in this universe Silas didn’t have enough human parts and so he isn’t a cyborg but is rather just an AI designed to act like Victor Stone in a robot body
How about a version of Metal Superman, Supergirl, Superboy, Captain America, Captain Boomerang, Wonder Girl, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood and Deadshot
@@user-qg8qg2sp7i Deadshot’s daughter could take after her father. Supergirl could be a clone of this world’s version of superman, The robins are kinda tricky but I’d like to think Dick Grayson’s Father becomes this world’s version of Nightwing. Also Captain America is Marvel.

I love justice league gods and monsters and it breaks my heart we never got a sequel or any continuation to this universe.
Even a comic for this would be awesome. I remember when this came out years ago I saw a trailer for this and I begged my mom to buy it online so I could watch it I did every chore in the house that week.

I agree with you. They should definitely make a sequel of this alternate universe. If they ever do a sequel animated movie, they should add new superhero members like their own version of the flash, aqua man, green lantern and so on

I would love to get a Hernan Guerra solo movie. Instead of another evil Superman story, a darker Superman who still has a good heart is worth exploring.

It's wild to me gods and monsters didn't have any new content after dark crisis or any of the other multiverse stuff.
A better take on a killer Superman than Injustice Superman was. This Superman’s way of killing is why I don’t agree with the usual Batman’s no killing code being imposed on everyone around him.
I agree! This version of Superman is by far one of the best takes on a more hardcore version, a character like Injustice Superman feels very shallow in comparison

Yeah, i thought it was awesome watching Superman looking like Batman's Karate rival from Batman TAS. Though, my heart broke to a million pieces when Superman was forced to kill little Brainiac, who was crying.
Would prefer a DCAU sequel as the JL vs Fatal Five was *amazing* and the voice actors still sound amazing after all these years. If we do get another animated movie from DC I would also like for DC vs Vampires to get adapted since I believe that is one of DC's best comics in awhile.
Justice League vs Fatal Five was awesome! It really surprised me just how good it was and I'd love a new DCAU movie of that same quality. A DC vs Vampires or a DCeased animated movie would be amazing too
You might want to hunt down the 1980s (?) 12-issue limited series Squadron Supreme, by Marc Gruenwald. The story deals with a JL analogue trying to bring utopia to Earth through their advanced technology, and the pitfalls they faced in the implementation. Great stuff.
this version of superman always stood out to me and I wish we could see more of this trio
Can't believe this universe couldn't explored more cause' this film is really good as hell. The character arcs, world building, and animation.
The Chronicles gave me even more interest on this DC universe. Especially Kirk Langstorm Batman cause' it reminds me Dr.Michael Morbius.

I think that the Wonder Woman subversion was the very best. They are the ultimate Anti-Heroes, and I LOVED every minute of it. Flashpoint paradox is a place to look if you want something related to it!
This needs to be a series. Hell, I would love to see a show done with Langstrom's Batman.

I always loved this movie and wished that it had gotten a continuation. Because for me the possibilities are endless for the potential storylines that it could've explored. I always thought that it would've been cool if the Flash of this universe was Eobard Thawne who successfully killed Barry Allen and stole his name and face, which creates a much darker and more brutal Flash. While the Green Lantern Corp is a group of space conquers who are tasked with controlling a specific sector by earning a planet's trust and showcasing that resistance is futile as they prepare them to be assimilated into the Empire of Oa.

Still one of the best and as you said, sadly underrated DC animated movies. The characterization of everyone was well written for an original idea, the animation is strong, the music is great. In short we really DO deserve a sequel in some form, like how Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay got a comic sequel, we should get an ongoing comic series based on this continuity.
I completely agree! If DC aren't willing to invest in a new animated project set in the Gods and Monsters world they should at least consider giving it a comic book continuation
It's worth mentioning that this is the only universe in which both Superman and Lex Luthor are "good" guys, that I know of.

Zod superman was the best. All of the best parts of superman. But with a sense of compassion that not even Clark had.
I'd love a sequel too. I thought the Alien Gl was fishlike so some of the characters could have been mashups.
Good God this is so true. This is my NUMBER 1 elseworld i want more of from DC. Becca, Kirk, and Lor-Zod are such great dark reflections of our heroes, because they are explicitly NOT an evil Justice League, they're just Justice League without the limitations of being paragons of virtue. They are still good people, just figuring out what it means to be a hero. I NEED MORE LOR-ZOD SUPERMAN!!!
I think this should be The Justice League that actually rivals a version of The Crime Syndicate. I mean, why not put trust before Zod?......
I agree this movie is so underrated this movie is absolutely amazing I love all the characters in this movie I much prefer this version of the Justice League then the actual Justice League wonder woman is amazing I love that she is a New God and I love that Superman is the son of general Zod and I love that Batman is a fracking vampire that’s just so awesome this version of the Justice league is the best

It's pretty interesting that the comic goes into the transhumanism theme and god-like perception of the League, so it clearly shows that the writers had that in mind already.
I really hope a sequel to this as possible someday anything is possible and I hope DC does listen to us fans that we want to sequel to this This is one of my favorite DC films I really love the edginess that I really love the concepts of the characters on how they might look bad but they’re just antiheroes which is really bad ass but again I really hope a sequel to this movie does happen someday please DC comics make a sequel to this movie we need it
Usually, superhero alternative realities consist of "what if X but Y", which can lead to great things, but most of the time entraps the narrative on a checklist of "twists" to the original stories. Timm and company always pushed to do things with a little bit more nuance, that's how we got the Justice Lords instead of the Crime Syndicate in the JL cartoon. This movie was similar: there was no harsh flashpoint that made these things different (no "one event that changed all" or contrasting opposites to mainline universe situations), here EVERYTHING is different in varying and unrelated ways, and rather than create shallow situations to contrast the "normal" DC universe, the movie takes these weird unusual versions of the characters and concepts and lets free roam on their own universe. Too bad most fans prefer alternative universes that are more referential and dependant of the main DC universe.
I completely agree, a lot of superhero stories about alternate realities can be really predictible, they're always about something like changing certain characters to be evil or good, changing a certain event in the universe's timeline or changing the usual setting/time place, but Gods and Monsters felt like it really subverted expectations
@@SantiBarrios - Yeah! That "unlredictability" was one of the reasons why I closely followed the development of this film, well, that and the Bruce Timm involvement.

I suspect James Gunn is going to do this live action at some point. I think the multiverse will already be a thing in the DCU. It will be a fact of superhero knowledge, as in Mister Terrific will know of it and so will others, and this story, or a similar one, will play a role in establishing the actual JLA

This version of Batman kinda reminds me of Marvel’s Morbius and Spider-Man because of this Batman’s origin where he gets injected with a mutated Bat’s blood which is kinda similar to morbius and Spider-Man
I never thought of that but I really agree! They have similarities like both being vampires created by science, this version of Batman definitely feels like Morbius

Indeed this Justice League needed to have the story told of there versions of the second trinity Green Latern, Flash with th last one up to grabs (Marsian Manhunter, Green Arrow or Atom(who are both death])

And to me thelittle boy Brainaic was Billy Batson more so with dr silvana created it. So i take it up a limb and i say either Steel or Blacklighting's relative is the new (sigh-forname) Captian Thunder/Shazam (as i don't see it wise naming a black woman captain marvel (marvel has one of does)
The Steel one would be fun if it is Robotman or while STRIPES was murdered in the movie i believe Starspackled kid was't there is also Major Steel

btw with what you see as Abinsur i see more a white marsian or a Reach Soldier in it, but i hope personly it is a Manhunter redesign.
A Green Lantern White Martian is a great idea! I didn't think about that posibility but it'd be a cool version of the character
