There’s been so much teasing that the real Teen Titans would come back. First there was the end credits scene in the TTG movie, then there’s been all the hints in the actual show (although you could see it as them making fun of the old show but still), then there was the crossover that I haven’t watched in full yet, and then there was some stuff on twitter with Tara Strong talking about it but I can’t remember what she said exactly. So yeah there’s been a lot of hints to a potential come back, but ultimately it depends on what’s gonna make CN money since TTG is still going on and has a spinoff show on the way.
Top 5 Good reason why the original series shoud return: 1. the show ended on a annoying cliffhanger. 2. it is never shown if the titans defeated the weird white monster or discovered who was behind it. 3. Starfire was the only titan that never got a protagonist season about her. 4. it is a great show that balances drama, comedy & action perfectly together. 5. TTGO is a stupid disgrace and has been around for too long now.

As much as I like the concept for a theoretical season 6. I honestly think season 6 should be dedicated to Starfire. Especially after AIT, we could see her figuring out what an earth relationship is like, Blackfire could also return for revenge, a storyline that delves into the Gordanians. There is so much potential in a Starfire-centric storyline.

We only got one episode of her as a fighting back off enemies with rest of the titans. Wish we had few more episodes w Terra in the team before she double crosses them
I mean, in the comics, it was pretty blatant she was a traitor. They don't even try to hide it. Beast Simp still wants her on the team, and manages to convince the others after she's key to a fight with Brother Blood.
@@komarbat23 Robin removing his tunic to s how he's no longer Robin and she starts saying "Take it all off!" Terra was a bit edgelord at the time. Nothing compared to what we'd get in the early 90s. Oh, she sees her brother (half-brother, Terra is a royal bastard, and by that I mean her father was a king whose mistress was her mother) in a crossover with Batman and the Outsiders, so, while we get to see her perspective and know she's a villain, there are some cute moments. The entire pre-Crisis New Teen Titans is available in trade paperback, and some of the post-Crisis.
An interesting point about the Justice League / Teen Titans crossover, is that in an episode of Static Shock, where Static finds himself in the Batcave, he asks Batman where Robin was (they'd met in a previous episode). Batman's reply? "With the Titans." He added that Static will meet them someday (the show ended before that). I was always curious what a Teen Titans set in the DCAU would look like. Now I know, thanks to this vid.
Man, I probably won’t ever understand why a popular superhero show like 2003’s Teen Titans still hasn’t been revived. Even now, to this day veteran fans of the show are still around to support it and newcomers are praising it as well. Highlights that were mentioned in this video, like Ravager/Rose Wilson, the Starfire driven arc, and the alternate future Titans are a few examples of why I’d love for the show to get revived! There’s so much unused potential for 2003’s Teen Titans and it’s mind boggling to know that it hasn’t been done at this point. Even Raven’s VA, Tara Strong believes that the show should continue from where it left off, which is awesome btw! If a popular series like Avatar the Last Airbender is revisited with new, untold stories, and still praised and supported by fans, then surely Teen Titans 2003 can get the same treatment.
James Gunn is probably one of our last shot to bring these people back together, to continue untold story of magnificent childhood of ours. Hope that he’d would stumble across this catch sooner or later. Utterly endless potential with veteran fans of the generation(like me who’s now 25) that shared Teen Titans, Batman Beyond nostalgia and etc. At the end of the day we all know nothing breaks our passion more heartlessly than the politics among corporate entertainment industry inside Warner Bros. Not even talking about the fact that all of the greatnesses in early 2000s happened and what we got now is Lego Batman and TTs Go(with all due respect). The OG fans really deserved better and hope for the best we’d still get season six/or continuous adaptation from 2005 we’ve always wanted, in our lifetime. I just have a dream😢
I never knew a toy contract can causes soo much damage. "We'll sell the toys however, only kids likes to play with toys and we need a new show that funny without the 'dark' part of the story".
I remember being a kid, watching “Things Change” (the final official episode of the series minus “The Lost Episode”) and being so excited for the next episode the following week. I didn’t realize that shows could just end on cliff hangers like that and this was the first show I was ever truly invested in as a child. So, the next week came and went. And then the following week. And the one after that. For a while, I just assumed we were in between seasons and the show would resume after a while. But that never happened… It took so many years to accept that the show was never coming back. It didn’t help that there were so many times I thought a revival was on the horizon (as was outlined in the video). Now I just omit “Things Change” from my rewatched and just conclude the series with the movie. It’s definitely one of the best series I’ve ever watched and I’m so grateful to have been able to experience it in its prime.
There's actually great placement for a new Titans show right now. Currently in comics the JLA have stepped back and the Titans are the world's premier heroes and the main lineup is exactly the same as the cartoon + Donna and Wally. We 100% need more media focusing on the Titans now (especially for them to have staying power as DC's central heroes).
@@Flyboy1953I always assumed the Flash in Teen Titans that appeared briefly toward the end was Bart to keep up with comics. He certainly seemed more impulsive than Wally.
I’m still pissed that they still haven’t brought this version of the show back. It was an insult to all us og fans that they gave us teen titans go instead of what we actually wanted.
My favorite episode of Teen Titans is probably Haunted which i’m sure is no surprise to fans of the show it’s an incredible episode that showcases the trauma Slade left on Robin’s psyche after all the physical and mental abuse he endured during the early seasons of the show
I would've loved to have seen an "Unlimited" counterpart to the 2003 "Teen Titans" series. I'm sure the show's staff would've developed some neat ideas for it if they were given the chance. However at this point, I'd rather have a brand new action cartoon of the Titans, with its own unique take on the characters.
I totally get that! I'm always open to new interpretations of comic book characters, and even though I'd love to see the 03 series get a revival it'd be really refreshing to see a new version of the Teen Titans
I don't know if you watched Watchtower Database's channel but they did a video on the last episode of Teen Titans, in it many of the people who worked on the show admitted that they're not really interested in coming back, they feel that they've done everything that they wanted to do. Khary Payton, the voice actor for Cyborg, feels that the finale gives a good lesson for everyone, life doesn't always go the way you want or plan.
Wonder Woman is a mfing trinity member and terra and Ravenger are mentioned before WONDER GIRL like so disgusted and so WILD. But I’m glad legally they were trapped unless WW universe characters aren’t stars as they should be
I could see a reboot. Maybe get into how Wolfman would keep several plot balls in the air at a time. And a lot of Speedy storylines work better with the Titans as adults.
Ironically, I think the Teen Titans Go cartoon plays a role in why the previous cartoon is still so well loved. With the way it was so long criticized as an insult and cash grab compared to the 2003 version makes us think more about the original and why we loved it.
I think the show’s success gives us the most hope. It does that an a franchise, those iteration of teens titans is beloved. You’ve got an older fan base who’d watch a continuation. But now you’ve got a younger fan base that is getting older and would be interested in a new series that utilizes the same characters and worlds
Teen Titans, TMNT 2003, Ben 10 were the shows from my childhood that I’ll still go back and watch every now and then cartoons used to be so good back then
Personally, I don't think Teen Titans Go! is the worst thing ever since its supposed to be intended for kids, but the original Teen Titans DEFINITELY deserves a revival. If X-Men can get a continuation, why can't Teen Titans? (Ignoring the fact that one of them is owned by Disney)
Such a disappointment that they didn't do more. I loved watching this show as a kid. After watching your video I feel like this show was like capturing lightning in a bottle. Im not sure we'll ever see anything like this again. : /
I agree with ya, I wish old Teen Titans came back, but until the future Teen Titans Go episodes aired, but of course we wanted the old series back, my hopes may be up, but maybe they'll make it some day.
I do really like the last episode of the show, after having the Titans travel around all season, they bring just the original 5 the show is about to their city for the last episode, and they also hit us with a blast from the past(Terra). Idk how fans call this episode a cliffhanger when it clearly had a conclusive ending, an ending that also thematically fits as a show finale. I think people want a more basic happy ending, but I like more bittersweet and even sad ones like this one which teach a hard lesson but still end on a "life goes on" sort of message cause the last thing we see is Beast Boy tell Robin he's on his way.
I've personally always loved how melancholic the last episode felt, it captures that feeling of growing apart from people you were once close to and learning to let go of the past
I always have mixed feelings about the prospect of a Teen Titans revival. I'm usually pretty anti revival, since most of the time the quality becomes diminished in said revival, and it usually feels like it'd be better off left alone. However, TT is one of the few shows that I would happily give another chance if the original team came back and tried to make a continuation. There was just something magical about the original run of the show, and while I doubt that they'd be able to capture quite the same feeling, I'd still be open to them trying, or creating a new feeling with a new run
I really agree, while I'm always open minded I'm also skeptical of revivals, and would only really be interested in a TT revival if they were to get the same writers as the og 2003 show, because if that's not possible I'd honestly much prefer to see a completely new take on a teen titans animated series
I completely ignore the official last episode of this series with Beast Boy. As far as I'm concerned the 2nd to past episode with all the Titans World Wide teaming up is the LAST episode😂
I have a better idea of what Starfire's arc will be like, Here's my layout for season 6: Ep1. Oh Brother pt1: Starfire's backstory revealed, she meets her long-lost brother Wildfire and the titans must work together with his team to save the universe from the spider guild and Lady Styxx. Ep2. Oh Brother pt2. after saving the universe from Lady Styxx, Wildfire and his team are needed for a new mission: to journey to the citadel homeworld to save the Omega men. Ep3. Green Fever. based on Teen Titans comic story issues 13-15; beast boy loses his powers and the city is overrun with green animals running wild. Ep4. Markovia. Terra is captured and the Titans travel to her home country to save her with her brother Geo-Force's help. Ep5. Rebellion. the Titans visit Tamaran for Wildfire's homecoming but Wildfire feels he may not be able to handle the pressures of being a King, however Blackfire plans to overthrow him and take the throne by force. Ep6. Sportsmanship. the Titans are invited to Euphorix for the intergalactic games but the citadel plan to infiltrate the planet with L.E.G.I.O.N's help. Ep7. Nightstar. the future daughter of Nightwing & Starfire is accidentally hurled into the past (present) and must work with the original titans to stop the evil sorceress Dark Angel. Ep8. Conspiracy. Raven is sent to England to help titans north when an evil race of aliens known as the H'San Natall invade in secret. Ep9. The Circle. when a being known as Rogol Zaar comes to earth to hunt down Wildfire, he and his team (Titans Omega) team up with Supergirl to learn about the past and defeat the power-corrupted Empress Gandelo. Ep10. Cyborgirl. Cyborg's childhood friend Latonya Charles becomes a cyborg due to a lab accident and a horrible alien creature is accidentally unleashed on the city in the process. Ep11. Dimension X (New Reality). continuing the b plot from "things change", the Titans follow the white monster into dimension x and learn of the masterminds behind it. EP12 & 13. Invasion (Space Wars) pt1-2. the Omega Men come to live on earth due to a power-vacuum in the vega system and the citadel plan a full scale invasion with Blackfire leading the whole thing. so tell me what you think, if you like my ideas, leave a comment or send them to Warner Bros. Studios to inspire them.
to my fellow young adults that grew up on this show and are still patiently waiting. don't give up. they hear us, they're listening. one day, we'll get season 6 and hell maybe by then we'll even have kids to enjoy it with!
Teen Titans is honestly one of my favourite superhero shows. Perfect blend of comedy, action and character development, with a unique and (at the time) new artstyle to top it off! Hope that one day, we may get another season or an animated continuation of some kind (not including TTG).
Honestly, I understand the issues with the Wonder Woman rights but had they included Donna Troy wonder girl in the original lineup as a constant character. Then they would have been able to get away with the rights because the fact is, she was a main member in the 80s lineup, as was Robin, so to try to avoid the side kick. Trope doesn't really mean anything, because Robin is a side kicking and everybody knows that he's Batman sidekick, so it's just really odd that that was the reason they couldn't include wonder girlthey had just made her a main character, then she was technically a star of the. Show, because that's how. Wonder woman was included in justice league the same rights
So instead of getting a continuation of Teen Titans, arguably one of the best superhero cartoons of my childhood, we instead get Teen Titans Go, which is just a stupid bastardized version of it?...That makes soooo much sense...🙄
Great video! It's a great feeling seeing others talk about the behind the scenes trivia about the original series. There's not enough love that goes behind what made the show as great as it was.
Starfire did have an Arch .. she was gonna get married with that sludge monster … but she didn’t .. her sister Blackfire visited and made trouble for her
Young Justice S1-2 are some of the best animation that's ever come out of DC and Warner, and the early episodes definitely felt kinda similar to Teen Titans
I was in uni when it dropped and considering I was in HS when the Batman and Superman animated series dropped onto screens, TT just gave me the happy squees as a DC and anime fan. I adored TT and JL especially when they had Michael Rosenbaum voice Kid Flash and the Flash on both shows. His Wally West was next level after his Smallville Lex.
Great video! I remember reading the titanstower article years ago, but I missed the parts about Krypto or the Terra Intro. Terra intro would've been amazing!
This was literally my favorite show as a kid ever. Really sad that corporate is pretty much always the reason shows get screwed. I really wish we got more of Red X. I’m guessing it was Jason since it would explain why he’s so similar to Robin. I’ve also found it weird as to why the Cyborg and Beast Boys designs never quite picked up as much traction from this show. To me these are the definitive designs for the characters and they don’t get used as much as they should in comics and shows today.
One of my favorite shows of all time when I was kid, every Saturday when wb kids was thing me and brothers watch nonstop, this show deserved more than the titans go version
Best Titans show ever. And my favorite? *cries* Don't make me choose they're all so awesome! If I had to choose...I'd have to go with Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo. Gave us closure that we fans had been waiting on for a loooong time.
Looking back and rewatching Teen Titans, it was definitely one of the most unique animated series ive watched growing up. Its humor, action, characters, and darker themes were blended so well that idk if any animated show at the time could match it. Its visual style was also great with its inclusion of anime esc elements that truly helped it stand out. As an artist myself, ive always like the more stylized approach to character design
If toy-rights are ever a potential issue, time shows no matter how good the show is, it's only a matter of time before its on the chopping block unfortunately.
Teen Titans original is long overdue for season 6, in fact, lots of other shows from the early 2000s need to come back for final seasons or sequel movies at least to tie up loose ends, before it's too late.
If I remember right, few years ago Tara Strong (Raven) posted on Twitter teasing that if the Teen Titans Go movie got a lot of views or ticket sales (I don't remember the reason) they would make season 6 as a true ending of the series. But, seems like she lied to us, or just gaslighted us since we heard nothing about it again after. Not sure if I should still love her for that. 😒
I should run Warner Bros. Studios, if I did, I would make a 6th season based on my ideas and even make a 7th season with the return of Slade, I would even bring back other old shows from the early 2000s for unaired seasons to tie up loose ends.
This show was GOATED son!!!! This and Samurai Jack could have went on for 5 more years. CN FUMBLED the ball on purpose. Truthfully Teen Titans and other DC shows like Static shock, Batman: The Animated series, Batman Beyond, and Justic League shows that DC doesn’t have to be like Marvel in order to survive. Their cartoons are GOATED and the animation pays more of a homage to the original comics than the movies (besides Wonder Woman 2017, Joker, and The Dark Knight, those were fresh takes on already beloved characters).
I think an awesome crossover could have been with the Teen Titans 2003, and the TMNT 2003 from Fox Kids, especially because both shows have a similar tonal blend of drama, comedy, dark stories, similar enemy types, music, pizza and a young teen to adult demographic. Either show's writers could have definitely done it.
I had a good number of those comic books as a kid in the early 2000's, my dad took me to an old comic bookstore, I rummaged through stuff and found some cool shit to buy. The show was my favorite growing up, I loved Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi and their cartoon as well.
Teen Titans is one of my favourite shows from the 2000s. Even though they never brought it back for a 6th series or spinoff sequel, at least it returned in some form as Teen Titans Go! If both Go, and a season 6 were out at the same time, that would be great haha
It's better that it died early, rather than living long enough to flop. Season 5 was already the worst season, specifically because they split up the dream team and focused so much on other characters, so making a whole sequel series about "Teen Titans Unlimited" sounds pretty bad actually...... I do think TT could be brought back for a live action movie series, with inspiration both from the comics and the show. Not a long series either. Maybe a trilogy cuz again, stretching any good idea out longer than it needs to be will make it bad. I think a lighthearted comedy/action teen movie could be great. Nothing like that "edgy" and "mature" Titans show no thank you. DC's movies have been pretty bad overall, they need to try something completely different in tone and aesthetic from Marvel instead of just being lame copycats.
A Young Justice cartoon (based on the comic version) spirtual successor would be cool. Id love getting to see Cassie, Tim, Kon and Bart get their own show similar to TT 03
I loved the original show from 2004, used to watch it on boomerang all the time. I didn't know there was a fifth season but have watched all four seasons and the movie ♡
Teen Titans means more to me than I could ever explain, so naturally I would love a revival if it was done properly. More than anything I would have loved a Starfire-centric season as she’s always been my favourite character, and it always saddened me that she never got a proper, fleshed out arc. I love that she’s such a consistent character but it always felt like such a waste. Great video! Here’s hoping CN and WB do the smart thing and bring them back in some way. ❤
18:15 They really felt that way? Because judging for how much the Titans went into space in the show occasionally, you think they wanted to do a whole season in outerspace.
I love the ideas they had here, that really shocking found out in this video that Eye dude Jericho was Slade son. Also that character design they had plain for Prosthetic Lass she look Absolutely Gorgeous! Would have love to know how they plain her voice to sound like in the show. But have love at less 1 more Season so that Starfire would get her season. But u never know what would happen.
While the series eventually won me over initially I hated it. While they used many of the same characters and storylines the cartoon was very different from the popular comic book run it was based on. Ignoring Donna Troy, arguably the Titans most important character next to Nightwing, had always been a sore spot for me. At least Kid Flash got a brief moment to shine. The first season of Young Justice was actually more Teen Titans than the teen Titans.
it's so amazing for me that even novadays i can see some content from fans like me about teen titans, i don't understand "teen titans go", so, as many others, i can only dream about reviving of tt from 2003

if terra had been added to the opening and appeared in more episodes, this definitely would made her betrayal destroy us more than it already did 🤕
We only got one episode of her as a fighting back off enemies with rest of the titans. Wish we had few more episodes w Terra in the team before she double crosses them
I mean, in the comics, it was pretty blatant she was a traitor. They don't even try to hide it. Beast Simp still wants her on the team, and manages to convince the others after she's key to a fight with Brother Blood.
@@jonbrewer297 I haven’t read the comics, but the show made terra seem like she wasnt a full on villain
Also Speedy pops up in the episode where Eiling turns into a monster, amd he has his Teen Titans design and voice actor
If a popular series like Avatar the Last Airbender is revisited with new, untold stories, and still praised and supported by fans, then surely Teen Titans 2003 can get the same treatment.
yes think you
James Gunn is probably one of our last shot to bring these people back together, to continue untold story of magnificent childhood of ours.

It's legitimately baffling there hasn't been a revival yet.

I never knew a toy contract can causes soo much damage. "We'll sell the toys however, only kids likes to play with toys and we need a new show that funny without the 'dark' part of the story".
It’s naïve to believe adults who are hardcore fans of entertainment projects don’t buy merch.
The best version of Titans (2003-2006)
Oh most definitely 😢
The 2003 Titans show has yet to be topped. Cant believe this is about to be 21 years old this year. I feel so old now 😂😂😂
Lmao time flies bro
You're not the only one who feels that way.
But that never happened…
It took so many years to accept that the show was never coming back.
@@vullord666 He was voiced by Michael Rosenbaum, so...Wally.
Star deserved her own season
Fr fax. She’s super underrated
One of the (imo) best Dc animated series of all time, really sad they cancelled it.
Absolutely, it's definitely one of the best DC animated series and comic book shows ever imo
And along with all the jlu shows too.
All these years later and I still find myself amazed by the artwork, story lines, and character development from this Cartoon Network gem.

Sari Sumdac : Who are you suppoustu be ?

Witchie Poo: hmhs britannic
in my opinion this is the greatest cartoon of all time. damn shame it'll probably never come back
I would've loved to have seen an "Unlimited" counterpart to the 2003 "Teen Titans" series.
It's really sad that teen titians was cancelled and I think that they should deserver to have another season.
One of my scrapped fan-ideas for Teen Titans season 6 was: to fit anything from both Superman and Green Lantern mythos to Teen Titans 2003
But I’m glad legally they were trapped unless WW universe characters aren’t stars as they should be
Teen Titans needs to be revived because I really wanted to see Donna in teen titans team up with starfire😭
We should’ve gotten a Teen Titans revival instead of Young Justice.
Great video!
Our childhood was so 🔥 cartoon network ain't the same i miss this show. Started watching young justice as well
I always have mixed feelings about the prospect of a Teen Titans revival.
I have a better idea of what Starfire's arc will be like, Here's my layout for season 6:
Ep1.
I wonder if we see superboy, Rose Wilson, wonder girl, Miss martian, and also blue beetle in the next season? 🤔
Don't forget Hawk and Dove.
Starfire did have an Arch .. she was gonna get married with that sludge monster … but she didn’t .. her sister Blackfire visited and made trouble for her
Starfire didn't get an Arc, she only had like a few episodes about past & character.
They’ve literally made every other version of teen titans possible except for the one we actually want to see.
I love the series but was very disappointed in season 5 since that should have been Starfire's focus season.
I did enjoy Season 5 overall but even when I was a kid I found it extremely odd that Starfire never got her own story arc
Wish Teen titans and Ben 10 classics got new seasons
i remeber young justice having the same spirit as the teen titans but they went way different after
Young Justice S1-2 are some of the best animation that's ever come out of DC and Warner, and the early episodes definitely felt kinda similar to Teen Titans
The original Ravager design with a full Slade mask is pretty awesome looking
Very good video. The plans for the future season/sequel series sounded interesting, but I'm also satisfied with what we got.
Teen titans will always hold a place in my heart
Put Murikami in charge of a Teen Titans movie
Even if it doesn’t continue, this show will always have a special place in my heart for how nostalgic and memorable it is. Love this show.
Do you still think it’s possible that they will do a season 6 someday? Tara Strong says it’s still possible.
Great video! I remember reading the titanstower article years ago, but I missed the parts about Krypto or the Terra Intro. Terra intro would've been amazing!
I would have made a novel of Teen Titans in the form of Season 6 that had an arc that is meant for Starfire and it’ll come in full circle.
Bro, the live-action movie is in the work!!!
Link?
One of my favorite shows of all time when I was kid, every Saturday when wb kids was thing me and brothers watch nonstop, this show deserved more than the titans go version
Best Titans show ever. And my favorite? *cries* Don't make me choose they're all so awesome! If I had to choose...I'd have to go with Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo. Gave us closure that we fans had been waiting on for a loooong time.
Trouble In Tokyo is awesome! I wished they had made more animated movies that continued ans gave resolution to plot threads from the series
That witchie poo design 100% got reused for sari sumdac in transformers animated
You know Teen Titans does have an implied punk vibe since they save the day by sticking it to ass holes and they have rock scores
This show could of easily went 10 seasons and had a great crossover with Justice League
This would’ve been a great idea to do a sequel series.
Teen Titans is one of my favourite shows from the 2000s. Even though they never brought it back for a 6th series or spinoff sequel, at least it returned in some form as Teen Titans Go!
If both Go, and a season 6 were out at the same time, that would be great haha
its crazy but one of my many favorite episodes is "haunted" that went deep
I feel like young justice was made to try and recapture the charm of teen titans and ended up ending for similar reasons
I was going to say this. I grew up with that show and it hurts that we have to fight for a fifth season.
I've been thinking of animating my own teen titans short at some point. If I do, I hope it's well received haha
This is real heartbreaking for me because all these excellent ideas for Teen Titans 2003 will never be use. Another reason why I hate Warner Brothers
Man imagine if Donna Troy joined the titans
@Flyboy1953 I know
Teen Titans means more to me than I could ever explain, so naturally I would love a revival if it was done properly. ❤
I've kinda lost hope at this point :(
I love teen titans. Its my favourite show i have ever seen❤
Warner bros should continue this again🥺
Searching from last 5 years " when will season 6 come? "
I would love to see a teen titans series focused on the titans east with Donna or Omen as an addition
There wasn't a season that focused on StarFire
While the series eventually won me over initially I hated it. While they used many of the same characters and storylines the cartoon was very different from the popular comic book run it was based on. Ignoring Donna Troy, arguably the Titans most important character next to Nightwing, had always been a sore spot for me. At least Kid Flash got a brief moment to shine. The first season of Young Justice was actually more Teen Titans than the teen Titans.
Teen titans 2003 will always be better than that childish acid trip, TTG!.
it's so amazing for me that even novadays i can see some content from fans like me about teen titans, i don't understand "teen titans go", so, as many others, i can only dream about reviving of tt from 2003
