Hey bud a member in our group shouted you out for making a great intro video. I want to thank you personally for labeling me and my RUclips community as a useful channel. In your opinion what are some areas of opportunity for our channel to provide more quality content for advanced users? We have 30k members with in our group and it's no surprise a majority of them are new traders. Just wanted some feedback and to wish you good luck on your venture!
The hardest thing I'm finding on the internet right now is figuring out good intra day scanners and figuring out if I should momentum trade something for the day or if it's gonna be a quick break and scalp. Good videos on pattern recognition are hard to find right now.
I'm currently messing around with a 2 candle rise scanner that looks for MovAveExp 3/200 cross over on the 1min, along with filtering shares, volume, historical volatility between 50-300% and beta above 1. But it's still popping to many results. Trying to figure out how to catch a stock right when it's starting to flip after a gap down or short.
im not to sure if you have looked into Connor P. who is a featured channel on my channel. he's one of our momentum traders that focuses on break out stocks. that would be his style of trading. He's created a number of video talking about his scanners and how he sets that up. I hope he can guide you in the right direction when it comes to momentum trading! The best way to find growth stocks, key features to keep in mind is as follows:
1. Ensure gross margins are greater than 50%
2. Ensure P/E ratio is less than 100
3. Buy companies that are PROFITABLE, very important irrespective of sector.
4. Debt to equity ratio is less than 30%
5. Current ratio is above 1 6. and a Float under 100 million One stock that fits the bill is FLGT (Fulgent)

Buying stocks of companies has reported to have increased earnings for beginners but other favorable developments has to be considered to anticipate desired trading outcomes.
Instead of learning how to trade, you can simply invest in traders.
Some traders are looking to be sponsored and trade with people's money.

< Technical Analysis is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure TA and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is dumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. I have made over 3.5 btc from day tradng with Paulson Dmitriev, insights and signals in less than 2 weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

Learning a new skill is exactly what I wanted to get out of this pandemic. I always wanted to learn to day trade. It started slow in April, but in just a few months of study and application and taking small steps I'm learning so so much, and seeing consistent results. I know this pandemic is bad, but it's given the time and opportunity to pursue something that I had little time for before it happened. It was a great lesson for me to take something negative and make it into a positive.

To let you guys know, this is the basics of trading. Don't even settle for this or you'll get crushed. Algo's and hedgefunds trade based on the sheep knowing this stuff, you set a stop at 4.00? it'll jack it up to 4.08 to get your stop out and then go back down 1 second later. You short a stock because you think it's gonna fade? people know this and will facilitate a short-squeeze and force it up to make you stop out. Understanding the psychology of trading is the MOST important thing.

Agreed. My strategy is to take the opposite side of the trade once the sheep get trapped. However, it's really hard to determine this using candles... I don't even use charts at all to trade, just pure order flow.
However, learning the basics in the video are prob great for a beginner. Just don't spend too much time following the retail herd!
YES! I trade Forex but basically it works the same way. People are very naive and don't understand how it works on the deep end.
Wow order flow. Nice! Need to find a video on that and how to use that is a direct signal. Yep the MM can watch and have more information and can dip stop out the players that don't know some of these basic facts, but when volume takes off; the MM go for coffee.
Robert J. duPreez here's what I do, don't know if it can work for stocks. For currencies I look for popular websites that contain a large enough sample of traders and use their sentiment data along with price levels and I go the opposite way of the majority which will contain the most liquidity ( stop loses). I also wait for consolidation in the market. When you see consolidation that's retail traders moving the market, any other massive move it's an institution. This is all theory but I'm running a test on a demo and so far it's working. The hardest part is determining an exit because there's no sure way to know how far the liquidity is from the consolidation phase and also there's no way to know how big a position the institution wants to put in. Hope that helps.

Shane, this has often crossed my mind but in practice, your subconscious will still manage to lose money if that's how it's currently programmed. It's why poor people tend to come from poor families and rich people tend to come from rich families. People get what they feel they deserve but for those with low self-esteem, trading is about the worst thing they can do. I'm still working on my own 'negative sponsoring beliefs' as they're called, as my parents were very much from the downtrodden workers or masses and I think my father even said once that he thought that I 'was getting ideas above my station' as we say here in England. The best advice to avoid panic buying or selling is to never trade with more than you can happily lose without emotional reaction or consequences, as that gut wrenching feeling is your body/mind/brain limbic system jumping from losing or potentially losing a small amount of money to dying horribly of starvation in one step subconsciously, even though you know rationally that the worst that will normally happen is that you will need to be more careful in future after taking a hit. So second-guessing yourself is actually just as hard if you're not emotionally disconnected from your losses or you'll turn a winning trade into a losing one by using too tight a stop loss, for example and not letting the trade breathe. This has been my experience anyway. We're all different. Some people attract money effortlessly. Others have lifelong issues with it but are otherwise successful and intelligent. Van K. Tharp writes a lot about trading psychology.

Diversify, dollar or pounds cost averaging investing method, portfolio re-balance every quarter and I’ve found a mix of managed ETFs and index funds has worked out the best for me..i've grown to 7 figure portfolio..

@@d.a3474 so about 70% of my portfolio is in passive index funds and ETFs. I make use of a F.A. It’s pleasant for me this way, We’ll see how it does over time I feel like even if 20% of my portfolió underperforms, I’ll still generate income from having a diverse portfolio. Better than spending my money on an expensive bag or vacation lol.

Such great educational video. When you create products, I have this idea for a robotic trash can mover. It allows the user to remotely move trash cans out to the curb, and back when the truck dumps the garbage . Ideally it would have a automatic time/vacation feature . The unit would need to securely attach to the entire bottom of each can. It would also need to have moving tractor treads instead of wheels due to the often violent impact the cans receive when dropped by the truck . I call it the ‘honey get the cans’ 🙏
