@@payalwalke3843 suppose you think that price of a particular stock will go down....you tell your broker that give me some stocks of this company as a loan/debt....I will return it to you by the evening....broker gives you the stocks without asking for money....now you sell that stock suppose at the price of 1000₹....now when the price goes down suppose 900₹....you buy that stock....return it to the broker....still left with 100₹ in your account

yes you can actually place the order at a target price and it will sell once a buyer is found for that price as the stock price reached ur set target
