    im not familiar with the DOF adapter , Are there SPECIFIC lenses that can be used on it to give the best Clarity?

    • @iphoneographers
      @iphoneographers  6 дней назад +1

      They recommend telephoto, so really anything over 50mm and also an aperture of f/2.8 or faster. The nature of the DOF creates a focus vignette, but the longer lenses minimize being able to see that.

    Any way of DOF c mount for iPhone ?

    • @iphoneographers
      @iphoneographers  15 дней назад +1

      Haven’t seen one, but Beastgrio does have other lens mounts like for Nikon, Pentax and more. beastgrip.com/collections/dof-adapter
      I have seen EF to C mount adapters, but they are mounting to a C mount not the other way around like you’d need here.

      I already suggest it to Beastgrip. Backbone do it for Gopro with d and c and mft adapter.

    Did you try focusing with Beastgrip's own app, Beastcam?

    • @iphoneographers
      @iphoneographers  21 день назад +1

      Yes, I show it in the app options there too. I like it, but not as much as the others.

    Solution is a real camera.

      I checked out your channel to find out what a "real camera" is and why it's better. Your About: JESUS SAVES Your Links: A website address that doesn't work. RUclips's comment: This channel doesn't have any content.

      Define “real camera”. We’ll wait.

      Boring to use a "real camera". More exciting to use the dof in non professionnal situation to experiment, discover, search a different picture look.

    My opinion - if you need all this stuff, it's much easier and logical just buy an actual camera. All these adapters are useless.

    • @iphoneographers
      @iphoneographers  20 дней назад +1

      Sure, no one is saying don’t have a traditional camera. I own lots of cameras. Most photographers or filmmakers do This is just an accessory like you would get with any camera, and they’re niche, but definitely not useless.

      Useless opinion (not an adapter - lol). I shot bunch of short films with home made 35mm adapter plus DVX100 two decades ago.
