- This was the first video I ever made to see if I might try the RUclips channel idea. I didn't upload because I didn't feel You guys would be Interested in my Life as A day to day heating Engineer. Since the launch of the Channel I have decided to put it out there to see if its the sort of thing You would like to see Let me Know what you think and if you want to see more ?

Great channel, I'm not a plumber but house owner, thanks to the various forums and RUclips videos like yours I managed rip off all the old piping in the house and do everything in copper, moved radiators near the windows and rewire the whole house. Made some mistakes (small flooding 😭😭) and would make some different choices if I had to do it again. Had few plumbers around to move the gas piping, but unfortunately they were not great, would not hire them again. I wish you lived in my area.

Nice one , I'm like you I'm either servicing or repairing boilers or unblocking drains I really don't mind as I charge the same set hourly rate for any work I do , some gas engineers wouldn't touch the kind of stuff I do but I will always try and fit it in if I can , at the end of the day it all comes down to making a living.....

Just found your channel through UKPlumberForums, there was a link to the flooded Worcester. When I do a service I always write the expansion vessel pressure somewhere on the inside of the boiler so that next time I come back to it I don't have to look it up again. Great vids.
Pleased you found the channel.. I never know where and how people find it.. just happy helping guys n girls trying to learn new stuff in this game. I take all vessels to abt 12.5psi or thereabouts. Another great vid. I'm settling in for a big old binge watch. I'm a gas engineer working in social housing by the way. I once had a kitchen sink with a blocked condense outlet , when I cleared it a big slug of solidified puke came sliding out . "I don't know how that got there" . Looked like a candle, I'm gagging now thinking about it. Great work , keep em coming. Was that a leatherman wave ? Always have mine on my hip.

Not a plumber but find watching very interesting. Its amazing the occupants dont/cannot fix some of the blocked drains themselves. Still money in your pocket.

Hello Dr pipe, just a question dude. Do plumbers need a permit for soldering a copper pipe with a blow torch. Has the local council are saying they can't repair my mums outside tap pipe because they need a permit for using a btorch. Thanks

Brewmule Interesting.. I heard someone talking years ago about bacteria growth in Hospitals and the amount of illnesses caused from bacteria in traps because of the fluids put down them. Why the whispering and muffled talk in your videos? Why not say clearly whats wrong and what you are doing as you fix the problem? Show and tell each step of the way so your viewers can learn.
Dont jump the video here and there leaving half finished jobs as some kind of mystery for the viewer to wonder what happened next.
