Exploring New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia

- Rachel and David took a weekend road trip to West Virginia to see their 47th National Park - New River Gorge!
We thoroughly explored the park and loved it very much! We started by exploring the Grand View area. This portion of the park had the best view points. We greatly enjoyed both the main overlook and Turkey Spur Overlook. Next, we visited Sandstone Falls which is arguably the best part of the park - don’t miss it! There are dozens of small waterfalls and one massive one if you can brave the journey to get to it. Lastly, we explored the New River Gorge Bridge area, which was also very cool! Though, they are not part of the park, we also enjoyed seeing Cathedral Falls and Kanawha Falls. Enjoy! Thanks for watching!
Hi, we are Rachel and David. We have been avid travelers since we got married in September, 2016. We have traveled extensively throughout the USA as David was a travel nurse for 5 years. Wow 47 parks. We are new subscribers who also travels. Hope you enjoy our channel also. The view from the overlook was amazing. Rim trail was easier. Turkey Spur overlooks was all good. I don’t do well in heat either you did good. The waterfalls was spectacular. Hope you like our videos also. Tks
