I also noticed that Feldman had a really good idea with his weather clock radio and when Elaine told him it was a good idea he didn't have any confidence in himself and said "forget it" On the other hand Kramer has terrible ideas and when he's told that they are stupid he reacts the opposite way and goes ahead with it anyway.
It’s so funny and in-character the way Elaine is enticed by the consideration and kindness of the bizarro group yet the expectation that she return that was the dealbreaker.
I love that Kevin has a unicycle hanging up in his apartment. And instead of cereal boxes he has like grains and healthy looking things in the shelf above the sink.

I love all the ways that the bizarros are better people than Jerry and friends, but there's one way that they're worse. The regular group are jerks to each other sometimes, but they always forgive easily. The Bizarros are really nice, but they have no tolerance for even a single mistake.

This episode is a perfect example of Jerry's writing vs. Larry's writing. A lot of people consider it weaker writing, too wacky. But this is right up my alley.

I love the line "shouldn't he say Badbye?". It goes straight to the heart of how absurd an idea "bizarro world" is since there's an unlimited number of ways to be opposite.
She even says outright in the Puerto Rico Day episode after she ditches them in the car and Jerry tells her she can't just leave the group: "I've been trying to leave this group for ten years."
She was arguably too good for them…well Jerry was maybe just s step below but she was definitely slumming by staying with the originals. The Bizarros were too perfect tho, in time she would have gotten bored.

The director of this episode gets the main kudos here. It's a great concept but without the direction - especially the sidewalk scene - the brilliance might have been lost.
When I was 11 I saw this one and cried for Elaines conundrum. She had finally found the perfect set of friends, but slowly she realized that they were from a world that she didnt belong and she had to reserve herself back to the flawed world where she fit in.
The point of the show is that the characters don't hug, learn or grow. So she can't learn to be a better person, and doesn't know how to make amends after hurting Keven and become part of the group.
Elaine ditching Jerry, George and Kramer so easily like that is such a filthy move: the one good thing these four have is their friendship among each other and she just throws it away. The three were always accepting of Elaine's weird boyfriends, for example...
