Very nice, I have been thinking of getting a yoke, this video just convinced me!
SICK!!! One more throttle quadrant to buy ASAP.
Flying with trackir is great. You should have one next. It makes the playing more realistic, easier and much more fun. In car cames it is also MUST!
I have trackir, CH pedals, CH throttle control and CH combatstick and life has never been better and now that my girlfriend left me I have much more time to play IL-2 and Flight Simulator.
The Yoke Box ie the black body as it sits on your bench is just over 10 inches deep 11inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high . That help
The throttle quadrants can be fixed to the front of the desk and not actually on it :) but the clamp takes up about 4 ins square
Got mine last month. Not a single problem.
In PF Yoke set you have 3 knobs in 3 colours with throttle. In extra throttle guadrant you have 3 black knobs instead 1. That give 4 black knobs.
Very easy in this Vid there is on Prop Pitch and One Mixture.
You go to the calibration section in windows and take note of which axis is which ie X Y Z etc.
The in FSX you assign assign that axis to the required need such as Throttle engine 1, Throttle engine 2 and so on and swap the coloured knobs around as needed.
Yea, it comes with all the colors, but you have to put it on urself. 2 blacks (throttle),2 reds (mixture), 2 blues (propeller), or 1 really big one that fits on all 3 levers to control 3 engines (throttle)
These ARE two separate modules. One quadrant comes with the yoke and another one is sold separately for ~$50
Oh I forgot to add that in later Quadrant kits they have a multi throttle knob that links all four together :)
Well two things are evident here... 1.) This guy is using a post cold war computer monitor and 2.) he does not reply to any comments whatsoever.
This is the closest thing to flying a plane for the rest of us...and it's fun. Using just the keyboard for Flight Simulator is absolutely frustrating.
yup i got the CH yoke and pedals along with the X52 pro and saitek pedals and i got everything working for me and they can all work at the same time but its suggested that u get something extra for ur comp to plub in more USB cuz these have alot of USB cables lol my desk is so full of messy cables!!!
@TheSPilot When you buy a quadrant it comes with additional knobs. Mine came with 6 additional.
It would be good if Saitek added some kind of lock so all the throttles can go up at the same time. Nice video
Hey, when you buy it, it comes with a spare set of handles so you can have 2 black 2 red.... I just got mine!
You can program the throttle for many aircraft it will work for the 747 also.
another little simplistic explanation but generally true except for a few ecxeptions (airbus, stick fbw)
big aircraft + most smaller civilian aircraft -> yoke, exceptions: airbus and some small craft.
stick: smaller craft,supersonic craft, fighters, stunt planes,helos.I just ordered a package deal, this yoke+thruttle assembly together with the saitek rudder panels.If you want to fly a very realistic fighter sim get rudder panels + stick e.g landing in crosswind.when I can im buying the stick too

@06davidrgg red is to lean your fuel mixture and blue is to +\- prop rpms
i frigen love Lockheed Constellations, favorite plane is fs, I live by 2 of them
You can adjust them for flaps and spoiler. I used one lever for gear lever - bring some more reality :)

try sticking a CD case(like a music case) under the back of the yoke its wat i did u might have the push it back under every once in a wile but it works.

The cheapest I have seen is 125 for the yoke which includes one throttle thing, 45 for another and 110 for the pedals.

no, its actually another type of quadrant they sell! you got the regular one, with the three levers, and then this one

I'm curious about the reverse as well. Probably the best way to go about it is to assign reverse to the swith under the throttle?
Because when you fly a real airplane you should only need to use like 3 fingers to fly in cruise, landings you should use all your fingers etc for control (obviously), with the right hand always on the throttle incase you need to apply more power in case of wind shear, overshoot etc.
does the extra throttle plug into the usb port behind the saitek yoke??
@djomercohen I don't think there are any force feedback yokes on the market.
That was my Guess before I read the Description but I do Believe I was close. The window configuration is sort of similar to me.
It only come with 1 set (three levers) for 150 USD < You can add more if you want to!

Well, not sure about the pedals, but the Yoke and the quadrant together is about $124 at it's cheapest

I saw your video and i found it very good.Now I would like to know if you can help me, I given turns on the net and can't find the way to run my two Saitek quadrants (my second quadrant was purchased when I had to replace a new yoke). If you can explain me how you did the connections and setup I will be grateful to you for any help.

1 throttle quadrant comes with the yoke, and you can buy an extra one
just plug it into the usb and your goood, you can configure your buttons to whatever you want also, like flaps, gear, stuff like that

ok i figured it out the other day you buy two throttle quarant and put them beside eachother and change the cover on the levers
blue ones fo controlling propeller rpm or pitch or sumit
can i change the heads around so i would get 2 three lever ones could i put the knobs on the different levers

- The yoke itself is too "springy" and does not give a true aircraft feel. Some of this may be the programming in FSX but I don't think so. Aircraft tend to yo-yo along the pitch axis even when using only the trim switch which you must use, even moreso than the real thing). Some aircraft, of course, are more sensitive than others (like the Mooney) but other stable planes are yo-yoing as well.

you have to buy a nother 3levers one.if you buy the saitek yoke, you well have a 3levers throttle with it.If you want a 6levers , you have tou buy a saperated 3levers throttle.

If you buy a new throttle quadrant, just how many additional knobs you get with it? 2 or 1 additional knob for the throttle? I don't care about the prop cont and mixture.

does anybody knows whats the blue and red handle works in pro flight yoke system?
is it cuz its old or because it's flickering? If it's because its flickering, its not. This happenes on all cameras unless they're specially designed. It also does this on tvs :)

It looks like he's got two three lever throttle quadrants, and just replaced the knobs.
can anyone reccomend a good layout for three of these things? (9 levers) and for the switches. I'm thinking of getting Saitek's full setup but I think there's too many things that can be finely controled like throttle to map to all of them, I'll also be getting all three control panels they have so with the exception of moving the flaps to the levers, the stuff on the panels will be there already. Why saitek put a small switch for flaps on a control panel is beyond me... rather have others.
how do u attch the secound 1, there is no more plug ins on the yoke and none on the throttle
i bought this last week. my only problem is i CANT APPLY PROFILES of X52.ofocurse maybe not suitable with each other but tehre r no profiles for this yoke in saitek website. and even no software for this yoke in their website.

on my CH Products yoke, the actual handle assembly is coming off of the rod that goes into the main hub of it. (Not that good on the terminology) but, will this ever do that?

@mulleolsen thats no completely true for airliners new airbuses have a joystick.but Boeing uses yokes.

If so does this mean you are able to config each lever with-in the software ?
If the answer is yes to both the above questions, how do you manage to get four black levers in the middle, if you know what I mean ?
