Very glad to know all this information. I just bought a very well maintained Altima with 230k on it. Its only current issue is P2004 intake runner control valve stuck open. I've already ordered the part. Thanks 1AAuto.
odd, never had any of these issues on my 10yo alti and no mention of the CVT needing to be service/going bad if neglected, or the MAF problem a lot of people get.
No MAF Sensor, VVT Solanoids, CVT issues, Torque Strut Rod Mount & Front Lower Control Arms. And sometimes the CV Axle Boots tear and leak axle grease. Used to work at Nissan as a heavy duty tech. These were common problems
I bought mine brand new in 2017. Throttle Body issues just started recently. And I also have a tensioner problem which is getting worse every day. Overall they are very reliable cars. I used mine for deliveries the entire time. It's almost at 250km . I'm actually happy with this car. The BCM and some other accessories have a short lifespan. But i suspect that my everyday use and constant stop and go wears it down at a higher rate.
Just seems like an ad more than anything. You didn't cover the most common problem which is the failing of the CVT transmission. Similarly the mass airflow sensor issues aren't mentioned at all...
#2 you can clean throttle body and move butterfly without an issue I have found. If you do this and still have RPM fluctuation you may want to put a can of Berryman in your fuel tank. Fixed mine so far.
No da problemas la transmision de ese carro...?? Si es asi lo tendre como opcion, comenten amigos que experiencias tienen con este Altima 2013 por favor.
2015 Altima 2 5l S trim... A/C blows out hot air only, appears related to 'electrical issue' per Firestone diag and another mechanic. Replaced A/C control head and engine fuse box, still hot air. A/C compressor is not receiving power b/c of electrical issue and not sure if the compressor is working. Any suggestions? Please and thank you.
Can anyone help me. Mine is having difficulty going up hills and does not accelerate after driving for long periods of time. Otherwise runs pretty good. It's a nissan altima 2017. Little shaking when I start it but otherwise not too bad besides issues of acceleration.
You didn’t even mention what engine that is the 2.5 or the 3.5 wow I thought you were smarter than that I’ve been watching your videos very very long time and you’re never mentioned it. I guess you’re only human and everybody’s allowed to slip up once in a while Lol
