I wouldn’t say cheerful I think the more accurate word is Grandiose It invokes the grandiosity and vastness of space and the unknown. It conveys the "bigger picture." The reality of how small we are, compared to almost everything else.
Going in blind to this game and this fight was probably the best experience I've ever had. The primordial soup/beginnings of life in the ocean vibe from the arena, the black hole attacks, the lore implications. Staggering. Just, truly brain-chemistry-changing stuff
Yes because the fingers are - as we now know - cosmic horrors in the Elden Ring universe. Ymir abandoned the moon to research the deeper reaches of the cosm, as it was merely the closest celestial body to our planet. And these things come from somewhere very, very deep in space.
To be honest, this boss's lore and explanation in its remembrance was sort of hard to take in. Mother of the Fingers? Daughter of the Greater Will? U was shocked to find out such a (relatively) easy boss was so substainial.
I found her quite difficult the first couple tries, because I kept trying to go to her side and getting smacked by the super fast finger attack. then later the attack where she hovers, spins, then flies at you was very finicky to dodge the first few tries. fit pretty well - she is so otherworldly that her patterns are erratic and are difficult to intuit by human minds, at least until we see it
