    Fun fact, the ost for the second phase is partly the first recorded sound of a black hole!

      No shit. I love this fact. Another reason why FromSoft makes the best games... their soundtracks are incredible.

    Fromsoft did a better job at making cosmic horror than some games based around it

      I like how when she conjures the orb thingy in phase 2, the theme changes to simulate the sound of a black hole.

    Entering this fight for the first time quite literally took my breath away. I'm an amateur astronomer and quantum theorist....entering phase two and hearing the black hole recording? WHAM! I'm in love. ER handled cosmic fantasy in a way I've never seen before and is by far my favorite aspect lore wise.
    PS- This video is exactly what I wanted. Silent fight footage with only music. Thank you!

    -How many references Lovecraft references do you want ?
    -Yes

      Sony is the reason Bloodborne has been treated like an illegitimate child. Look into it.

    I read somewhere that the phase 2 soundtrack has as base the first recorded sound of a black hole, is that true?

      Yes, that’s the strange sound you can hear throughout the 2nd phase. It isn’t a literal sound made by a black hole. Rather, the sound made is based on information we observed from a black hole and recreated as a sound, since there is no sound in space

    I love how much the second half emphasizes this ominous feeling of staring at this massive, alien looking being, feeling VERY uncanny. Like, you're watching it mind its own business, after destroying you since you can't die. Was it human? Why is it here? It HAS to have a purpose for being down here.

    • @Krosstic
      @Krosstic 10 дней назад

      Much of the second half is an actual recording of a black hole

      @@danielv4793 Every souls game has similar refrences to each other, sans sekiro (which really isnt a souls game imo.) Elden Ring is far too different aesthetically to be a sequel from bloodborne.
