Hard to tell. We as tarnished are being guided by Marika to be her consort, yet we are able to betray Marika to be rannis or just straight up burn everything as frenzied flame. So I'm not sure why we couldn't get a third "no Marika" ending where we become miquellas champion and consort when we get like 4 Marika endings I think.
@@shirokun002We will not become his consort. Radahn is his promised consort. This is against what the Tarnished fought for the whole time. The Tarnished represents the ambition and would not stopping fighting until they becomes Elden Lord.
What I find most interesting is that, based on the lore and indeed on Miquella, the Age of Compassion could have been real. Probably not perfect, but he’s genuinely trying to make a gentler world and promised to do so (and see the length he goes to, to fulfill his promises). But it was fated never to occur, because we were fated to be Elden Lord. That’s more interesting than convincing ourselves that his Age of Compassion must be fake and he’s just another tyrant, just because then maybe we’d have to justify our rule with more than just We Won The War. Miquella is a redeemer figure, a Christian eschatological figure, radiant and terrifying, and we would rather kill him and take the throne than give up our sin. Without our sin, are we ourselves?

He is an epitome of the well intentioned extremist trope. In spite of his unsavoury methods and horrible manipulation, he does not in fact desire goodgood for powers sake, in fact he fears it (both according to his last cutscene and St.Trina diologue), but feels he must save the world and make it better place, by any means necessary. And that truly fits someone who is in spite of his great divinity, compassion, and genious levels of craftsmanship, still on an emotional maturity level of a child. His curse is not only to not be able to physically grow up, but mature emotionally.
You can find the shattered ruin in the game. It's a shame because it's supposed to be the strongest ruin of any demigod. Would be cool to be able to get it before he destroys it.
In the base game "Final Battle" we have 2 different track combined with each other, the first track is for Radagon fight and his theme. The second track was Marika/Elden Beast theme (it was named Marika originally, you can look it up for the real/official lyric of the Final Battle). The final battle of the DLC also includes 2 tracks. the beautiful/horrifying thing about miquellas story is his path to pilgrimage was in the name of compassion, but ultimately he charmed even those fiercely loyal to him.he gave up everything to fulfill this claim he thought he had over peoples own autonomy. in his ideal world everyone would be under his charm. his version of compassion is taking away free will all together aka humanity since its inherently evil. it is no better than the frenzied flame ending, at least in that one people arent forced to inhabit a body outside their own control & influence. instead theyre primordial soup. all are equally bad, miquellas tale is one of wanting peace at any cost, but that cost is everything. no more doubt, despair, sadness, grief only happiness. to take away emotions is to strip the foundation from what we came from, what separates us from other living things.(speculation in regards to how charming works, nice replies only pls)

Hard to tell. We as tarnished are being guided by Marika to be her consort, yet we are able to betray Marika to be rannis or just straight up burn everything as frenzied flame. Are you a masochist ?
To be fair he wants to basically get rid of free will, either you love him or love him
@@Eric6761 I don’t think that’s true! He hits us with the charm because we’re trying to stab him; same with Ansbach. The idea that X or Y character wants to get rid of free will keeps being pitched - Ranni, Goldmask, etc. I don’t think that’s what the game is about. He will make people ‘better’ though - is that violating their free will? Was Leda’s free will violated when he made her less paranoid and murderous with his charm?
@@WanderedIn Bro, the guy who stabbed Miquella literally hated Miquella but at the same time was entranced by him to like him, his grab is basically a lobotomy on you, his world is basically a world when "love" is forced peace where everyone would be forced to act like one

Man, how do you say no to that? Only when you realize that it’s mind control, is there a dark connotation to it. A masterpiece
Problem is that it is called Age of Compassion, but Miquella cast off his ability to love in the Coffin Fissure.
So God of Compassion has removed his own ability to feel love. It is very scary concept.
@@matiasluukkanen7718agreed, and we see his warped perception of love here. Naïveté at its finest. Everyone loves each other what’s the problem, I’m sure is what Miquellas thinking. Terrifying indeed. Just as Ansbach said
They did you dirty, Miquella
1:00 You know when sh*t is about to get serious
Please, let me yield my path. He would be a better ruler, the world would be a gentler place
And they say that Miquellas' great ruin is shattered
You can find the shattered ruin in the game. It's a shame because it's supposed to be the strongest ruin of any demigod. Would be cool to be able to get it before he destroys it.
In the base game "Final Battle" we have 2 different track combined with each other, the first track is for Radagon fight and his theme. The second track was Marika/Elden Beast theme (it was named Marika originally, you can look it up for the real/official lyric of the Final Battle). The final battle of the DLC also includes 2 tracks. The Radahn soundtrack remake and Miquella soundtrack. So with the release of the DLC, we have the entire Marika/Radagon family soundtrack.
This is only after the Final Battle for me as the best soundtrack in the game.

it’s mind boggling how people take a stance with Miquella here. Nobody of sound mind in this game stands with Miquella. Ansbach is against him, Radahn is against him, St Trina- his own love is against him. Leda is a zealot, Dane is a zealot, Moore is desperate, Hornsent is desperate, Freyja is shortsighted. None of them are with Miquella because he’s good, they just want to feed their delusions. Miquella is a monster, brainwasher, manipulator that preys upon desperate ones, he does not love anyone as he discarded his own love. Taking away everyone’s freedom of choice is taking everyone’s life, absolutely no different from straight up killing everything with frenzy. You guys already have a happy ending with Ranni or some bullshit, she knows that control over people is what makes them miserable

the beautiful/horrifying thing about miquellas story is his path to pilgrimage was in the name of compassion, but ultimately he charmed even those fiercely loyal to him.he gave up everything to fulfill this claim he thought he had over peoples own autonomy. in his ideal world everyone would be under his charm. his version of compassion is taking away free will all together aka humanity since its inherently evil. it is no better than the frenzied flame ending, at least in that one people arent forced to inhabit a body outside their own control & influence. instead theyre primordial soup. all are equally bad, miquellas tale is one of wanting peace at any cost, but that cost is everything. no more doubt, despair, sadness, grief only happiness. to take away emotions is to strip the foundation from what we came from, what separates us from other living things.(speculation in regards to how charming works, nice replies only pls)
bro its definitely better than the frenzied flame ending 😭
@@pepper-c7v bro your comment is masterpiece, everything you said was right, (age of compassion ending = lord franzied flame ending)
Except each of the charmed knights was their own person, and nearly all choose to return to his side after being un-charmed. Moore was still different from Leda, but both remain loyal. Miquella’s charm doesn’t make people not themselves, or even completely remove elements Miquella wouldn’t approve of. The Hornsent was still driven by desire to aid his people, just more by hope than revenge. Thiollier still wanted to make a sleep-forever poison. They were still them.
