I am a dancer, and dance instructor, so I have to constantly care for my feet. I get calluses and corns, split skin, and sometimes even impacted nails. To treat my feet, I first soak them in warm soapy water, and then let them dry completely. Then I sand the problem areas with a rotating pedicure device, and cover with vaseline. Then I wear heavy socks overnight to let the vaseline absorb. This works great. Highly recommend for anyone to treat problem feet!

My Drs have me wear silicone corn bands/protectors around my big toes to protect them bc I get corns so easily from rubbing even though I have diabetic tennis shoes & custom orthotics. Great video! Would you consider a darkening mixed with flakiness of the skin on top of the big toe also as a result of friction or would there be some type of fungus going on there?
I have callus on my hands from holding a ballet barre and my feet from pointe work and dancing barefoot. Dancers rarely ever want to get rid of callus on the feet. They help

Oh dear lord. I have had a heel corn for 8 years. I have completed about 10 rounds of salicylic acid pads over the years. Even double, back to back. At this rate it's so cracked - I'm supergluing it back together...
Also barefoot shoes are the best. I love my wide toebox runners.

I thought I had a corn, but the dermatologist told me it was actually a joint cyst. She said it would take surgery by orthopedic surgeon to remove it.

Foot pain is a nightmare! I think I may have a tiny fragment of glass stuck under the ball of my foot. Normally I'd think that it may be a papaloma...but I haven't been to the pool for ages, and I always wear shoes anyway (& in the changerooms/ showers). However, recently I was an eye witness to a car crash, and the pain started just after that. I was just wearing ballet flats on the evening when I saw a car crash into a parked car and then drive through the shopping mall double glass. entrance. (It was a 'miracle' no one was mowed down). I only get an isolated sharp pain after standing for long periods. I will get the doctor to check it out when I get my full body skin check in a week's time. If anything gets cut out of my foot I may need Krazy Glue to be able walk on my foot straight away?

@@lauriediekrager8332 Thank you, we don't have that brand but I'm sure it's the 40% urea that does the work. I have been using a 20% formula so I'm going to search for a formula with a higher %.

I got hard bumps on some of my toes after walking around in shoes that apparently were too small for me. I've tried for a good while to get rid of those bumps.. but nothing I do works haha

She has mentioned in a number of videos when talking about body lotions that a number of them can be used on the face as long as your face tolerates them and that a lot of the beauty industry is marketing to get more money out of the consumer.
Yes she mentioned Gold Bond Pure Moisture body &face lotion. I got it and it’s soooo good. And what a bargain if you consider the amount you get compared to face creams. Great ingredients and fragrance free.

Being a heavy avid walker, 4-7 miles a day… I’m looking to remove a possible corn or “wart” on my exterior side of foot where a notch below the pinky toes lies.. any suggestions, ointment or techniques to get rid of it? Very painful and bite: it gets very painful with heat to it gets there.. #friction

My podiatrist prescribed Ammonium Lactate 12% Lotion 227gm. due to my super dry feet and a pore that becomes clogged. Once or twice a year, he will shave down the area and remove the clog. I simply stored that lotion in a cabinet in my bathroom, and I ridiculously seemed to always forget about it. I finally placed the bottle in my medicine cabinet by my deodorant so that I take both out to use after my shower. I’m such a “out of sight, out of mind” person.

I run 10 miles a day and recently developed clusters of corns on my feet. Most of them just look a bit gross but one of them was properly painful if i was walking bare feet.

I was getting corns between my toes from standing long hours at work. Along w/ getting shoes with a wider toe box, I found Dr. Scholl’s medicated corn bandages (w/ 40% salicylic acid) to be helpful in getting them to go away. They also have it in a liquid form.
There are also things called corn cushions that you can find for pretty cheap that just help the toes from rubbing together and creating more corns/callouses.
Walmart has equate version of the 40% sa stickers

Yes, they can, because it can leave some residue of the oil and clog pores.
