A/C problems are all too common on several generations of Civic hybrids. I was dealing with one a few weeks ago and the owner couldn't afford a new compressor so I just bypassed it with a shorter belt.
It's not that bad... cake replacement. You must be the old school guy that love carburetors 😆. You got to love the fact fwd have spring loaded tensioner

I hate messing with FWD belts and the accessories involved.
