New A/C Compressor and Component Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1AACK00137
This video shows you how to install a new AC compressor kit from TRQ on your 2006-2011 Honda Civic. The AC compressor circulates refrigerant under pressure throughout your car or truck's air conditioning system. Through age or faults in other components, the compressor can burn out and stop working.
PLEASE NOTE: Before attempting this repair, have your AC system's refrigerant properly removed by a qualified technician.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

    2007 Honda Civic

There was a third bolt on the alternator. So if the alternator doesn’t budge, don’t force it like I did. I chipped the frame 4:26

It should be located on the very bottom if you have a third bolt, which isn’t mentioned in the video

What is the point of pouring out new oil and then adding new oil right back this video is not clear and this is a real question not sarcasm

Thanks for such a detailed installation. I fast forward and rewind your installation procedure several times. Only thing that I've seen missing is that you should flush the system with high pressure air and a/c flush and clean before the installation of the new parts (compressor and etc.) since there may be old (aluminum) debris inside the line. BTW, why is this Honda so rusty.🤔

Thanks for the video , you provide great details , I really appreciate that , I just have a question please , I have Honda civic 2010 it has 70000 miles in mint condition , I don't know if i will do same as in your video same as in this , the A/C weak sometimes blow hot air after cool air , I add ferion and put the pressure caliper found the low side 80 and the high side is 50 !!!! This before I run A/C staying like that even when I increase the engine to 2000 rpm just the low side went to 75 after 5 minutes but the high side didn't change what do you think the problem ? There is no any leak at all , I have short video clip if you interested to see what is going on .
    Thanks

The ac in my 2010 Honda only cools when I'm going 40 miles per hour. A mechanic told me that he had to change the compressor. It is certain that?

Is it necessary to change the oil from the new compressor? What if I take my car to get the AC charged?

Is there any rule of thumb that states if the AC compressor has failed and run for "x amount" of time, replace more lines and condenser due to sending debris into the system??

my AC works when im just parked air on but i gotta gradually increase the cooling as it goes, if i step on the gas the air cuts out but when i maintain a solid speed under 70 itll be cool sometimes it cuts in n out. im GUESSING its my compressor after seeing reels showing it move n the freeze up, i feel thats what im going thru as i drive or even struggle to get cold air coming thru. im not abl to turn max AC right when i get in, ive noticed that hotter months cause it to not work at all at times. please help another persons input would help

Do you necessarily need a torque wrench
