This is EXACTLY how a demo video should be done. Fantastic job. Your playing was perfect for each tone you had dialed in. Lots of people would benefit from watching this to learn how to properly do a video. Not to mention Marshall should be very happy because you’ve probably helped them sell a lot of these amps. Well done
Just got a 2525 and randomly found this on a forum. This is by far the best demo of the amp I've seen so far, and believe me, I've done my due research diligence before buying. Amazing job. Keep it up!
I’m so glad I finally found your video again been a fan of the jubilee since I learned to play and knowing the history but this review is what finally made me pull the trigger. Got the custom shop red and cream with green backs 212. Just wanted to say a massive thanks
wow man, watching your videos since some days. not only do i now need to buy a marshall and a red7, but i am really fascinated by your riffs and playing, sounds so cool!
Best cleans I've ever heard on a demo for this amp. The dirty tones have always been awesome in nearly every video I've found but I was concerned if it had usable cleans.
Guitar player here, I always gravitate towards the Mesa Rectos and Rivera Knucklehead Tre’, EVH 5150III, ENGL etc. for the heavy tight percussive brutal tones I also love Line6 for the same application and beyond. Line6 for flexibility as well. Anyway you get the point, after hearing what the Silver Jubilee can do, I’m a fan for sure now. I’m thinking now I know why Gary Holt loves his Marshall SJs. I’m blown away on how amazing that amp sounds, I could only imagine the possibilities. Thank you for the awesome video and demo, you’re getting the best tones out of all of your killer amps over there, keep up the hard work, great job 👍🤘
Well the Jubilee is not without reason one of the greatest amps ever made... And it is quite unique in the Marshall family in the way the tone controls work etc. Oh and don't get me started on how this thing feels and sounds when you're playing it in the flesh... I love this amp.. Have the 100 Watts version though.
This demo is literally like night and day compared to a lot of other demos on RUclips of this amp. This was refreshing. Finally someone showing real capabilities of this thing instead of some one dimensional poorly researched wankfest of noodling with settings all at noon. Thanks for this. I’m really liking this amp when it’s been demoed by a couple people well. Sounds like it can bridge a Plexi and JCM 800 and more. Cleans sounded good here. Last video I watched literally the guy said “it doesn’t really have a clean channel.” Before proceeding to do 10 minutes of shit solo. Another guy keeps the neck pickup only on and says “I don’t know what the 25 stands for. Is that 25 watts? I don’t know because I don’t know anything about the amp”. Really lazy videos from some so this is appreciated. I subbed.
This the the best, most versatile amp Marshall ever made. The 2203 & superlead still hold the throne as best, but the jubilee is the best sounding all-around amp they ever made.
Amazing videos/demos. I do have a request. In the captions can you also include the tuning of the guitar you're playing? E Standard, Drop D, Drop C, etc. I'd love to know this information as well.
Great shootout !! The fretboard on that Tele really looks good... almost like Brazilian rosewood...? The Eclipse sounds good in any genre. Seymour Duncan makes awesome pickups :) Nice playing bythe way ;-)
Jeez man the best demo of the jubilee mini I've watched. The tele cleen and drive tones are lush as are the les Paul ones. This has really cemented my decision (almost got tempted by a supro black magic head) but for the context of what I'm doing in the band I'm in the jubilee mini in terms of portability and the range of tones it can produce then... Yea it wins. Ta man, keep up the work
What is the difference in sound quality in the recording studio between the 2525h and the 25/50 used by Frusciante? that is, in 2525h there is a difference in bass, in the composite of the sound or is the result by adjusting the amp the same? because it is undeniable that the practicality of the 2525 size and weight make it interesting, but I would not want the recording quality in the 25/50 to make a difference! I thank those who have compared them, if not the author of the video himself, will want to help me in the choice
I sort of dislike my jubilee. Is it true that it only sounds good cranked? I never go past 3 volume because it’s in my room lol. Should I try an attenuator
Hello, I have had my Jubilee amp from new, got it in 1990, it's in one of my videos. Yes the gain channel only sounds good with the amp on near full or gig volume, or it's just fizz. But there is a fix, the best blues and rock sound i ever get is with a vintage RAT pedal on the CLEAN channel even at the lowest bedroom volume at 3am in the morning it's the best ever amp tone. Set the Amp like this (Gain 3) (Treble 4) (Mid 7) (Bass 9) (Presence 5) (RAT Gain at 12 o clock) (Rat Filter at 2 to 3 o clock) (Rat Level at 12 o clock)
Looking to upgrade from my DSL20hr to something still Marshall but much more refined. This might be it. Killer demo, thanks for playing some really killer original stuff and not Slash riffs. lol.
I really like this, but I'm not sure if it's different enough to my DSL20 to really justify the extra money. it definitely has some different qualities that are nice to have, but honestly the DSL20 more than scratches my Marshall itch.
You covered some ground there, partner, but I ain’t seen no country, and there’s a few types of country out - red dirt, Nashville, western I reckon. Man, you sold me on this amp after the first 3 or 4 examples. Unbelievable demo. Does the use of the IR make a huge difference? And what are you using for a dummy load?
This demo sounds wonderful. I was just wondering if someone could clarify me on something. What are the max setting at which you have a balanced clean/lead operation? Like "If you go past this gain setting or this volume setting, channels will be imbalanced". Gain is not much of an importance, volume is. Asking this to know if it can be used on a band setting that goes from clean to distortion a lot. Thank you and sorry if my english is confusing, but I don't know how can I express this any better.
I saw a video discussing the importance of a good cab rather than a certain amp and after having watched several of your amp demos I'm convinced. Your demos are simply fantastic but the actual difference between all these amps is so miniscule, I'm guessing your using the same IR for all these demos?
When I googled this, I can’t find this amp anywhere. It looks completely different like the original SJ but smaller rather than like yours with the vintage Marshall plates and salt and pepper grill.
Amazing playing! Best demo of this amp I've seen!! I have this amp in silver but I'd love this limited edition.Do you know if it's still available and where I could get one?

Fantastic demo. So many bad Marshall demos on RUclips. This is magic.
This is EXACTLY how a demo video should be done. Fantastic job. Your playing was perfect for each tone you had dialed in. Thank you very much! I appreciate it!
Came for the riffs and got a solid amp demo as a bonus.
Awesome tone.
This has to be the most thorough demo of the studio jubilee on the internet. Excellent playing, compositions, tone, production. Nice.
Just got a 2525 and randomly found this on a forum. This is by far the best demo of the amp I've seen so far, and believe me, I've done my due research diligence before buying. Amazing job. Keep it up!
And some say that Marshalls arent versatiles. This man proves theyre wrong.
What a demo! 👏
I’m so glad I finally found your video again been a fan of the jubilee since I learned to play and knowing the history but this review is what finally made me pull the trigger. Got the custom shop red and cream with green backs 212. Just wanted to say a massive thanks
Wow. I came to hear the amp. The playing stole the show. Efficient, clean...I was entertained. Great vid
one of the most inspired players. great tones !! amazing
damn, this is the most informative demo I've ever seen
wow man, watching your videos since some days. not only do i now need to buy a marshall and a red7, but i am really fascinated by your riffs and playing, sounds so cool!
Geez bro. That is the tastiest playing I heard in a long time. I mean, gear demos are good and all, but your playing is fantastic.
Awesome demo man, thank you. I'm literally going to go buy this. I've been on the fence for a year, but this just made my mind up.
By far the best amp demos on RUclips available! With each and all all quality aspects (sound, songs, variability, video and cut) - Congrats!
Again, not surprisingly proving that THIS is the benchmark for how demos should be made. With shots of settings of everything involved - brilliant!
Dang! You got that thing sounding so delicious. I echo the other comments, this is the best sounding demo of them all. Me wanty!
Great display of the versatility of this amp. The playing was great too!!!!
Wow this guy is awesome! I’m blown away
Echoing other comments you have a great knack of nailing those various sounds - and great playing.
Great playing writing and production man
Wow, didn’t realise how much I need one of these until I saw this video
I expected the amp to sound good but damn, your settings and playing made it sound stellar ! Awesome demo video
Best cleans I've ever heard on a demo for this amp. The dirty tones have always been awesome in nearly every video I've found but I was concerned if it had usable cleans.
The cleans are excellent!

I have to say, your videos are the most complete ones on YT, amazing stuff man! You are helping me decide which amp to go for :D
wow encyclopedic knowledge of amps and tones and great guitarist on top of it amazing
Dang that sounds great, impressive clean
Awesome amp!
Cheers from Portugal 🤘🍺🇵🇹
I absolutely love the look of these limited jubilee's as much as the sound. Will be picking one up
Is it me or does it kinda do everything well? Absolutely did not expect that from a Marshall as I usually don't like them too much.
Fantastic sounds! I have one Silver Jubilee too! Congrats from Brazil!
Forever the tastiest riffs!
Wow! Massive tone and awesome skills! Thanks for confirm what I knew... This amp is a killer Beast! Regards from Mexico.
Kudos not many who demo an amp with a baritone, great stuff!
Awesome video and thanks for sharing all your settings man. I hope many people book you for work because of these videos, that definitely should
Great tone, and great playing!
God, that elite is pure versatility!!! Love it!!!
The finish is rare!
Love my 2525H, great amp.

The tele really excelled on this amp I think
The “vintage pushed rock crunch" gave me really strong “Cry of Love" vibes. That’s Audley Freed’s band, an amazing guitarist.
not a bad sound in the thing. a big thank you for plugging into a silver jubilee and not playing fucking guns and roses
Really good demo, well done
Very well done!
This the the best, most versatile amp Marshall ever made. The 2203 & superlead still hold the throne as best, but the jubilee is the best sounding all-around amp they ever made.
Best review ever. Would've appreciated some black crowes tone. Will do it with mine, now that you helped me out in deciding to buy it. \m/
Great demo and excellent playing !!! 🤘🏻😎🎸
Didn’t say a damn word and holy crap what a great demo video
Wow, some seriously heavy guitar riffs going on here at 11.15 and 12.45 and 14.30...best metal and rock gear demos on RUclips 100%
Jesus fucking christ dude, you have no idea how glad I am that I found you..Mad Respekttt!!!
Haha awesome! Cheers!
Another sick demo, awesome shit man.
Great effort. Great amp imho.
Great tones and playing Jon!
Man that Clean Tele Riff gave me the chills
amazing as always!
The best Marshall ever made. I’ve got the 100w and the 20w. Unreal !!!!!
Can't go wrong with Marshall. Classical sounding thing.
GreatestDemo.of the 2525H
Amazing videos/demos. I do have a request. In the captions can you also include the tuning of the guitar you're playing? E Standard, Drop D, Drop C, etc. I'd love to know this information as well.
Really great content! Could you make a video about choosing the right IR for a sound? I always get lost when there's a million options.
+1
You can really play the guitar man and record music. Now I’m convinced I need to buy a Marshall 2525 to. Cheers
Excellent video, Jon! You've got to love a Marshall amp. They always sound so damn tasty. Smeuïg zeggen ze in Nederland. ;-)
Haha nice and juicy!
Damn... That's versatile... 😮🤯
Great shootout !! The fretboard on that Tele really looks good... almost like Brazilian rosewood...? The Eclipse sounds good in any genre. Seymour Duncan makes awesome pickups :)
Nice playing bythe way ;-)
Great video!!
Now that’s a fucking demo, well done brother.
Jeez man the best demo of the jubilee mini I've watched. The tele cleen and drive tones are lush as are the les Paul ones. Plus the fact I've wanted this amp forever so yea I'm not getting a supro.
Nice smooth sounds . I can almost hear the : keeley double tracker ? Marshall Collector 💫
This amp with diod clipping is sort of tube version of the famous TubeScreamer.
It definitely has a similar effect
Stellar!
Wonderful as usual ! I always change my mind on the mini jub, on your demo it sound incredible, but on other video it sound thin and harsh...
Thanks! It's very far from thin and harsh imho. More warm sounding than other Marshalls
Sheesh we really need the tabs for 9:15. So good
You're talented 😘😘
Your reviews are the best. How do you like this compared to the EVH 5150 III 50w EL34?
Thanks! This one is much more classic and old school sounding

This sounded sick as fuck, im happy i subscribed here!
4:17 is perfect classic rock tone
I love how it sounds that telecaster with heavy distortion
I just couldn't hold the GAS after this video.
I sort of dislike my jubilee. Is it true that it only sounds good cranked? I never go past 3 volume because it’s in my room lol. Should I try an attenuator

Nice! I’m like #1000 for this video! Does this amp need to be up loud to make those nice overdriven tones?
Stellar. I think you might have sold me an amp. And given me ideas for five songs.
I would buy the whole song.
I really like this, but I'm not sure if it's different enough to my DSL20 to really justify the extra money. it definitely has some different qualities that are nice to have, but honestly the DSL20 more than scratches my Marshall itch.

@sonicdrivestudio do you think this amp can do what the vintage and jcm can do or is it to different?
having the same weird pick holding :D
Haha, yeah! Can't help it! I'm weird!
What tuning was the drop tuned active baritone in? Sounded really good!
Its hilarious how the guitars get darker as he goes
i hear some New riffs.
Nice job as always
How do you compare this amp with Mt15 and FB25w for brutal metal sound ?
how are you getting those smooth harmonies mate ?
enjoyed this video much much muchly !
the only thing that differs that amp from the 2525h is the aesthetic???
Just a question; you use the line out from the amp to the sound card and then you load an impulse???
When I googled this, I can’t find this amp anywhere. It looks completely different like the original SJ but smaller rather than like yours with the vintage Marshall plates and salt and pepper grill.
It's just the 2525H (Silver Jubilee Studio) but it's the limited edition in split vinyl.
Sonic Drive Studio Hi, so except the finish it’s exactly the same amp, right ?
Amazing playing! Best demo of this amp I've seen!! I have this amp in silver but I'd love this limited edition.Do you know if it's still available and where I could get one?
I got mine at musicstore.de
