Another fun fact about this film: It's the first film to show a toilet. Hitchcock had to fight for this, as he felt it was a totally necessary story point.

I have Janet Leigh's autobiography autographed to me on my birthday in 1984. She was signing books at a resort on the Oregon coast that year and I couldn't get off work, but a friend went and got the book signed by her and she wrote "happy birthday". I was thrilled! You guys always outdo yourselves! Another FANTASTIC VIDEO!

My favorite role of Janet Leigh's was her appearance in an episode of "Columbo." She was exquisite in the role of an actress dealing with dementia...or possibly, before it was even medically identified as Alzheimer's Disease. Update: And, holy crap! Jessica on the piano stops the show in its creepiness! Perfect.

Psycho is an unnerving Hitchcock masterpiece. Both Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh's performance in the movie was effectively the beauty and the beast. I love also that Leigh starred alongside her daughter Jamie in one of my most favourite late 70s horror films. The Fog. Another great video both. Saying that, they all are. It's like trying to choose a favourite child. Impossible. 👋🙂

I felt excitement, then that heart tug moment, when we look at those heads stones of those greats that have gone before us, in this episode... I'm a BiG fan of Alfred Hitchcock films and fun merch collectables, such as the early out of print pre-teen spooky novels he produced in the early 60s-- I have several of those in my collection.... Thanks, for showing me that memorial field stone of the Hitch-- Meant alot.... Also, my heart really sunk to see Farrah Fawcett's resting place--- I miss her... Another FiNE episode, GriMMs... Thanks, for the LoVE, and Happy Halloween....... :^)"""""""""""""""""

I can still remember watching Psycho for the first time. It was in the 1970's and I was around 8 years old. I saw it on TV in our living room. It's still my favorite no. 1 classic horror film. In the Spring of 1995 I went to Universal Studios, Orlando. The Psycho movie attraction was still open. However it closed later that year to make room for a new one. Inside the studio there were plenty of seats for audience members. On set was an excellent replica of The Bates Motel. This was a theatrical show. There was also a large viewing screen and an interactive set of the infamous shower scene murder. It really was very cool. While standing in line and waiting to get in I was approached by a Universal Studios employee. She asked me if I'd like to be part of the show. Initially I was hesitant but I eagerly agreed to participate. I played the part of the knife wielding Norman Bates. I'll leave it at that. If you guys are interested in what this was like there's plenty of information about it on the Web. Keep up the great work! ☮️ from Michigan…

A friend of mine's dad (Ron Eglit) played bass on and off with Dick Dale for many years and I got some very brief peeks behind the scenes. One of the more impressive things was that no matter how unwell he was (it was worse than people really knew for years) he could just turn it on once he got up on stage. All the way until the end, he was just built to be up there doing his thing. Super incredible performer. RIP

You guys are just the best. Tears flowed when you showed the gravestone of The Queen Of Pinups - Bettie Mae Page. I've been in love with her since I was about 12 years old and was at my Main Public Library here in Long Beach CA, and wandered away from the boring Children's section and into Adult Non Fiction (specifically Photography) because the kids section had crap regarding photography, cameras, lighting, exposure, etc...
I found a book of Model Photography from the 60s called "The Art Of Glamour Photography - by Bunny Yeager" and Bettie was one of the models in it, and she was nude. I was just blown away. I could not stop thinking about that book. It kept me up at nights (pun intended). So much so that I had to have that book. So I went back, grabbed it, took it to the bathroom and jammed it into my backpack. I then got some other shitty books to check out and left. My dreams were now full filled. I've visited her grave dozens of times, especially on April 22, the day of her Birthday.
Thank you so much for showing us gorgeous Janet Leigh. She was such a talented actress, and so is her daughter. I would have liked if you spent a little more time talking about her and Tony Curtis who was once the most handsome man in Hollywood. A real movie star and legend. Theirs was to have been a real fairy tale wedding and romance of the ages. But unfortunately not to last. But at least their union produced another gorgeous actress of the screen in Jamie Lee Curtis.
I love you guys so much. Hope to meet you someday.
    LLAP 🖖🏻

This is my first time commenting here (I watch on Roku and no comment capacity there)...so, fyi -- my overall message to you guys is: I LOVE this channel and I really enjoy your work, Michale and Jessica. But, I am a little disappointed with one miss in this fantastic video: you failed to mention, that right to Janet Leigh's left (facing) is Jack Klugman...a fav and beloved star of TWO major TV shows: The Odd Coupe (he played Oscar to Tony Randall's Felix) and the title role in Quincy M.E. (the medical examiner detective). But, again: I TRULY enjoy this channel and never miss an installment. THANK YOU Michael and Jessica. If you're ever in Rochester NY I live 3 miles from historic, Victorian Mt. Hope Cemetery, the first municipal cemetery in the United States...Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass are buried here...and in another local cemetery, Holy Sepulcher, (where my father is buried) one of the handful of Jack the Ripper suspects is buried. Also, Janet Leigh came to Rochester in the late 1900s/early 2000s (sorry, I do not recall exactly) and received an award from the world-famous photography museum (with one of the world's largest film preservation archives/buried underground and climate controlled), The George Eastman House (Eastman is the founder of Eastman Kodak).

I can't wait to go to the other cemetery! I have been to the Forever Hollywood one many times. Well done in documenting these! I was also lucky enough to meet Ray Bradbury one time...amazing people! Happy Halloween!
