I'm normally into etchings but the signature etchings on that record are pretty cool. Well done getting that video example completed in one take.

Back in the early '70s Monty Python released an LP, "Matching Tie and Handkerchief," which had that type of parallel grooves. It was literally a three sided record, in that it had three albums sides of material on a single-disk album, so depending on where the needle fell on side two it played either program A or program B. I never knew that Kiss and others did it again years later. Always thought it was a pretty cool gimmick, but if your album got scratched it could probably switch programs halfway through.
Ya, while researching to buy double groove records, i read up about a Monty Python vinyl also also... But it was regarding the LOCKED groove... Now Python has one with a double groove! LOL And yeah, if it gets scratched, gimmick is over! :( I'm gonna take care of this one! :)
Do yourself a favor, either put vinyl in a paper sleeve or remove vinyl entirely from that heavy plastic sleeve. Somehow the plastic fused to my vinyl and when I peeled it off it left a “shadow” on vinyl. I haven’t come across or tried a solution yet to remove shadow.
How about vinyl that plays from the inside label outward to the edge? Yep.

Ya, i heard about the vinyls that play from the inside to out... do you know if there is a special name for those kind of records? (Like the double groove one?) @@offthecharts2272I’m not aware of any special name for vinyl that plays “inside out”. I have at least one--red vinyl no less- instrumental guitar. Nick S Etc
