I can relate to Dana when she said she almost cried upon meeting Paula. I came to a book signing a few months ago and felt overwhelmed as well and had to stop myself from ugly crying when I met Paula. She is sweet and makes you feel like you’re the only person in the room. Love you Paula!!

On Facebook, well my car was as good as on the road 😁 when I waited and waited until my turn the more nervous I got until finally I got up to front of the line, I literally couldn't say anything,she then told me she loved a man in pink ( I'm sure she was thinking,bless your heart 🤣)
Hi Paula I made those ugly biscuits Saturday morning and Swaggerty sausage patties no gravy. Omg so delicious I had buttermilk so didn’t have to use vinegar. I baked the biscuits in my cast iron skillet. Mine took 20 minutes to bake. Yum 😋
I think biscuits taste the best with Crisco shortening instead of butter. Not that butter is bad but not quite as good IMO. I love a buttered biscuit though ..I enjoyed the show .

For those who don’t know, for biscuits you use SOFT flour, made from soft Durham wheat. WHITE LILY is the only brand name I know of SOFT FLOUR , but surely there’s others ???

My mom always said that Crisco made a "softer" biscuit. So we make them with Crisco....then slather them with butter to eat. 😋

I don't have an iron skillet. Can I still make these and have them turn out ok?
1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 Cup of milk, let it stand for 15 minutes. You can also used spoiled milk to bake with, don't throw it out.
