In BP's prime (the 30hr, 30sb season) he was by far the best middle infielder in the game, and definitely the most valued. I'm so grateful that I got to see him grow into the player he has become and got to watch virtually his whole career here in Cincinnati. Definitely one of the all-time great Reds and one of the all-time great 2nd basemen in all of baseball. We will miss him but it was just that time. I'd much rather see him in a different jersey and a chance to win than stay a Red and finish his career on a basement dwelling, rebuilding, irrelevant Reds team. And it hurts just a little less since he went to Atlanta I love that for him. And any year he doesn't win a Gold Glove is a huge snub. He's never been given the acknowledgement he deserves cause he spent his (almost) entire career in small market Cincinnati. But oh well, I wish nothing but the absolute best to Brandon and am so grateful for everything he has given us here in Cincinnati. 💯
