  • Finally had another chance to rebuild my leering skeleton. A few years ago my older one got destroyed and I have been itching to build another one. Well here it is and I think it turned out pretty nice. Hope you like it.

    I had to trash my Leering skeleton too. He really started to fall a part and the wind did not help. Just like last time after seeing build one maybe it time to do it again.. Great job...

    Dear Steve, after I saw your leering Skeleton last year, I re-build it in a similar way you did. I gave a little extra, an leering Skull. I fixed 2 Fishing lines on the left and right of the Skull and put it behind on the tumbstone, but the left on the right, and the right on the left side. So the Skull will watch to every side in which the Body turns. If its leering to the right, He turns his head to this side too.
    Because of you and your Videos I started building props too. Cant wait for Halloween.

    Due to that being a siphon sprayer, depending on the paint your using, you may need to thin the paint a bit. Thicker paints need more air blowing over the tube to pull up the paint, which in turn can fail to create the siphon effect.
    Looks awesome!

    Glad to see you building. 2 questions, Was the noise you heard at the beginning of the video, the rat returning to eat this build? and what was the fix for the siphon gun?

    • @StevesHauntedYard
      @StevesHauntedYard  3 года назад

      LOL no rats and I didn't fix it. I guess I need to water down the paint more. I have the worst luck with paint guns.

    Hi Steve: do you have the link (or item #) for the part from Spider Hill? Looks great! ♥️

    • @StevesHauntedYard
      @StevesHauntedYard  2 года назад

      I bough it awhile back. I actually had to change the motor to a different one as this one did not handle the weight of the Skelton. I ended up moving to a reindeer motor and adding additional support at top to decrease the load one the motor. Hindsite it would be better to use a wiper motor or a motor with more torque

    • @anniemae1987
      @anniemae1987 Год назад

      @Steve's Haunted Yard reading through your comments can you explain how you took pressure off the motor? I'm in the process of making one for my display this year and I have a reindeer motor.
