    Hello, Varun. I passed the PMP exam yesterday! Thank you so much for posting these videos. I'm dyslexic and I have ADHD. Reading the PMBOK and Agile Practice Guide was very frustrating for me, but your videos helped me actually understand the concepts and test with confidence. I passed above target in all three areas. THANK YOU!!

    Q1: Option C: Being a servant leader, guiding them to resolve issues (Since I had just heard about servant leadership in the video and also it mentioned about efficiency improvement)
    Q2: Option D: Adapt organization documentation as its necessary documentation (Since it was mentioned the document is a mandate one)
    Q3: Option D: Conduct root cause analysis (to ensure we do not make such errors again if a similar situation pops up)
    Thank you for the awesome explanation. Getting there of how options need to be eliminated and choosing the closest one.

    Question at 40:35
    Option A - X as irrelevant as the question doesn't talk of what to do about sprint
    Option C - X if current design is not working and the feedback indicates that, then there is no point in continuing, one needs to rework on the plan and so.
    Option B - X - though Good choice, but first we need to understand what new design is required and for that RCA is needed to understand the change that is required in design.
    Option D - Ans - Good choice - First understand why integration is not working, what is missing, what is needed and then next step would be to get back to design/drawing board
    Oops - I got it wrong.
    Option B is correct answer.
    Thanks Varun for explanation. 👍Got it.

    The presentation condenses a vast amount of material into a few understandable concepts - very helpful when studying.
    First question focuses on efficiency. Kaizen and continuous improvement focus on efficiency. Answer: D
    Second question identifies required documentation for certification. The scrum master would update organizational documentation to align with the new requirements. Answer: D
    Third question looks at the impact of a scope change on the project. Because the initial strategy did not meet the project requirements, the team will need to go back to the drawing board. Answer: B

    (Q1: D) Through efficiency and enhancement, the agile coach is following the Kaizen approach to be better with every launch.
    (Q2: D) Scrum is from Agile and Agile embraces the change. So when its mandate for the organization then as an Agile org we must adapt and hence the scrum master will accept the change and prepare the document.
    (Q3: B&D) Confused with the B & D options. We must to the RCA for fixing the issue or remove the waste/user story from the board. so the close answer is B as it is the first step (Neil Armstrong technique)

  • @SamNjash
    @SamNjash 2 года назад

    Q#3 answer is D as in the scrum methodology there is the retrospective which focuses on lessons learnt ie feedback into the prioritized product backlog and thus even if it is a fail it will well inform the new sprint.

  • @TheMstillwe
    @TheMstillwe Год назад

    Michelle Stillwell: I choose answer A: Cancel the sprint. I dont know that you have to go all the way back to the drawing board (option B) - seems extreme. Continue with the work (option C) doesn't make sense because you know it's faulty. Option D is maybe important so not to reproduce an issue, but seems if you know there was a problem first step might be to cancel the sprint.

    Question 3: I think the answer is B because while A is also correct (you would cancel and not want to keep going with the work as C states because it's all a waste and not helping solve the problem), B lets you know what to do next. D isn't correct because you know what the problem is (integration doesn't work) so spending more time on root cause analysis would push the schedule out further.

  • @NehaSharma-tf7im
    @NehaSharma-tf7im Год назад

    Answer is B. Applying the Elimination technique : the question doesnt say there is an issue with team's performance, or there are issues that need to be resolved. Delivering a work with efficiency is a value delivery so answer is B

    For question 3, I don't think because the team knows there is a problem, they necessarily know the cause of said problem. I think knowing a problem exists and knowing the cause are 2 separate and different concepts. Therefore, I think the root-cause analysis is a better answer since going back to drawing board would make sense once we know what the specific issue with integration was.

    In this video, I got 2 out of 3 right. Sample 1 was for daily improvement that speaks about continual improvement. Sample 3 was easy. I also feel that going back to Drawing board may help wherein a little tweak in design may help them integrate or design a bridge to integrate.

    Q-D Conducting root cause analysis would be helpful here, but not sure that it is the best answer. Sprint does not need to be cancelled, yes you have to go back to drawing board, but not all is lost; the work is iterative so could continue with it; root cause analysis should be done but need to determine timing.

    B: going back to the drawing board will enable modifying the architecture by learning from previous sprint. Can be a good choice.

    2 Answer D - Conduct root cause analysis.
    - [ ] Option A , not a good choice
    - [ ] Option B says rework but they should first check what went wrong so not correct answer.
    - [ ] Option C they can continue but need root cause first.
    - [x] Option D - Team should do root cause to make sure not repeat the mistake. So this looks more correct than other choices.

    Michelle Stillwell: I believe the answer is D. I dont believe C is correct - we aren't necessarily talking about issue resolution. I dont know much about Kaizen, but continuous improvement seems to align with the question and resolving the issue.

    Question 1: All 4 answers are somewhat true, but A doesn't really pertain to the actual question, and neither does B. C seems like it should be adaptive leadership more than servant leadership. D is the correct answer because the question specifically mentions making small enhancements, incrementally.

  • @alokkumar8646
    @alokkumar8646 Год назад

    Q1: Option C: As per the scenario an agile coach need to be leader adaptive or Servant, over here leader need to encourage & improve the efficiencies of the team, so by encouraging the team to focus on one small enhancement every day like "Many a little makes a mickle", so i think Being a servant leader, guiding team to identify and resolve issues. Elimination Technique is used over here.

    B - to see if the requirement was clear and is there something to be considered while redesigning.

  • @ArpanDikshit-w3d
    @ArpanDikshit-w3d Год назад

    Since in the question it is mentioned "detailed set of documents", option A and B are eliminated, also there is nothing mentioned about 'extra', C eliminates. Hence D is the correct option.

    Hello Varun , can you please explain difference between triangles of constraints. I thought that for waterfall approach scope is fixed and time and cost variable . For adaptive approach cost and time fixed, scope is variable . But you video tells that for traditional - cost, schedule fixed, scope variable. For agile - schedule fixed, cost and scope variable

    • @EduHubSpot
      @EduHubSpot  3 года назад

      Basically for traditional, you go with the mindset that you know everything and you will complete the project within the well defined values of scope, cost and time

  • @SumitGhosh-mi9si

    Answer C: Its encouraging the team and frequently asking them about efficiency if they concentrate on one small enhancement.
