Super! I'm working on a project manager's certificate. Study English at the same time. Can I find classmates who study project management together and practice English with them?
This Agile and scrum video is suppose to be part of a video series that prepares you for the certificate? I can't find a playlist to use in order to know I'm prepared for the certification. Can anyone point me to it? Thanks!
Great question! This video is a look at the Google Project Management Certificate. If you'd like to access the full program including assessments and hands-on labs, as well as get the certificate, you can enroll on Coursera: goo.gle/3R3IpIH
Good question! On our RUclips channel, we offer the videos so you can get a preview of the content before enrolling. If you'd like to access the full certificate program, including assessments and hands-on labs, you can take it through Coursera for $49 per month after a 7-day free trial period: goo.gle/3R3IpIH
@@GoogleCareerCertificates Thank you for getting back to me! I actually just reached the 4th Module of the 6th course, Communicating with Senior Stakeholders. I'm so excited to start my career in the field and put all this knowledge to the test!
They really gotta add a piece of the product on the backend for the team that develops and works on the project. There’s lots of talk about “value creation.” I like it. Make sure those creating it get a piece of it in perpetuity on the back end. Plus the teams will want to work with better and better devs. I do this system, and it puts agile on rocket fuel. -If you let the team keep what they make-man it’s heaven. Now if a dev team thinks a product is horrible-yeah just negotiate a contract. If you’re really serious about agile and the philosophy-it has to have a strong worker return.
Sorry folks there is SO much WRONG in this video. It talks about rigidity, iterative lifecycle, over documentation, risk and change boards. There is NOTHING in any PM method, not even Prince/2 that says you need masses of documentation or unnecessary project infrastructure. No professional project manager does more management than needed. There is NO such thing as Waterfall PM and NEVER has been. Frankly good project management is Agile and has been for decades. Also, projects have NEVER been defined by a lifecycle, there is WAY more to PM than that. For a project to be managed Agile it can have ANY appropriate life cycle. Even in software development, iterative (the word is not mentioned in the Agile Manifesto) lifecycles arise from the Agile Manifesto not the other way around. I would not recommend this course at all.

Maam,youre gorgeous
Agile, when you have to waste time on ceremony instead of productivity because your management was duped into adopting a project management religion
