The F-84 is one of the first jets that I put significant time way back in the day. It was fun to break this guy out again and we got into some pretty good scraps with it.

About 5:20ish to 7:30 ish. I was the Sea Hawk.
Last day or two I've been wondering what the VC chatter between you guys would've been with this lunatic in a Sea Hawk with smokes on doing barrel rolls next to Hambone instead of shooting. I had a moment of madness and decided I wanted to try to form up with Hambone's B-29, so I turned smoke on and tried to slot in.
It was an honour to be shot down by you guys.
Sadly no chat anymore to communicate better but I thought the same when you didn’t shoot anyone;)
I feel sad that you couldn't communicate to them that.
Considering that ham got some kills in his B-29 and didn't die, if he wants to be Dr Ham, PhD, he can. ;)

That intro made it feel like a throwback video. I was expecting to hear Loli, Coby, and dgaff at some point during the cuts. Now Imma have to go and watch some older videos after this. Love the work, wish M3 .50cal worked this well for me
5:16 Now imagine trying to do air refueling from a KB-29 in an F-84. Very dangerous for all involved. The fighters had to fly nose up near stalling speed to maintain position on the tanker, and the tankers had to fly with their nose down to gain enough speed to match the fighters. Even the KC-97 and KB-50's with jet engines augmenting the thrust were not much of an improvement. The KC-135 was a HUGE revolution in air refueling.
The little compilation at the beginning of the video was very entertaining to watch. Great video as always Bo and friends!

I was really feeling that music at the beginning, it felt like the intro (or ending) to an 80s/90s movie
When Bo said "Rawr", all I could hear was the intro to Beth Roars videos.
When you don't get up-tiered, low-end jet battles are so fun. Once I got the hang of it, I loved the Vampire and F-84G in the Italian tree so damn much.
Also, crunchy Cheetos, I'm not soft enough to like puffy.
That one-wing landing was awesome! Also, crunchy.

The F-84 has always been my favourite jet. Always a pleasure seeing the crew flying jets in air RB.

@@Thekilleroftanks they aren’t broken, they’re good aircraft and they don’t rely on the enemy to make mistakes to be good, so a good pilot can make good if not great work with it

Interesting. "FS-337" was my dad's F-84 that he flew in combat during the Korean War. The colors are the 310th Fighter Bomber Squadron, although he didn't have a big dragon painted on the side.

Stick, F-15’s and A-10’s have continued flying on just one wing so I’m not surprised Bo managed it. I could be mistaken but I think B-52’s have done that as well (although I might be confusing wing with tail on that one).

i remember when these were first added. They were making air RB basically unplayable because they would spawn in and rush the enemy airfield making it basically a one sided slaughter

F-84G is a really fun plane, has a really powerful engine compared to B version, and usually gets downtier matches too.

"Rolling back" refers to Ng, or speed of the gas generator inside the engine slowing down, usually indicates a flame out or unstart. The word you are looking for when turning back toward the enemy is "re-engaging"......

Bo I have a tip for when your forced into a head-on: go into first person and use the crosshairs. The third person point isn’t that accurate showing where your guns will shoot and will miss if you am directly at the target in front of you. But besides that thank you for making an incredible video

Console players don't have F3, we have to cycle through all the camera angles. Which is like 3.

I've had a few times where a player on the other team does the smoke and wing waving, I do it back and leave them alone. 20 seconds later I get shot out of the sky by them.. can't blame them for not blindly trusting it lol.
